यशायाह 52
1 हे ज़ियोन, जागो, और अपना बल पाओ! हे पवित्र नगर येरूशलेम, अपने सुंदर वस्त्र पहन लो. क्योंकि अब न तो खतना-रहित और न ही अशुद्ध व्यक्ति आएंगे.
Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion. Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. For henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 हे येरूशलेम, तुम जो बंदी हो, अपने ऊपर से धूल झाड़ कर उठ जाओ. ज़ियोन की बंदी पुत्री, अपने गले में पड़ी हुई जंजीर को उतार दो.
Shake thyself from the dust. Arise, sit up, O Jerusalem. Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3 क्योंकि याहवेह यों कहते हैं: “तुम तो बिना किसी मूल्य के बिक गए थे, तथा बिना मूल्य चुकाए छुड़ाए भी जाओगे.”
For thus says Jehovah: Ye were sold for nothing, and ye shall be redeemed without money.
4 क्योंकि प्रभु याहवेह यों कहते हैं: “पहले मेरे लोग मिस्र देश इसलिये गए थे, कि वे वहां परदेशी होकर रहें; अश्शूरियों ने उन्हें बिना कारण दुःख दिये.”
For thus says the lord Jehovah, My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there. And the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.
5 याहवेह ने कहा है: “बिना किसी कारण मेरे लोग बंधक बना लिए गए, अब मेरे पास क्या रह गया है,” याहवेह यों कहते हैं. “वे जो उन पर शासन कर रहे हैं, उनको सता रहे हैं, वे पूरे दिन मेरे नाम की निंदा करते हैं.
Now therefore, what do I do here, says Jehovah, seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them howl, says Jehovah, and because of you my name is continually blasphemed among the Gentiles.
6 इस कारण अब मेरी प्रजा मेरे नाम को पहचानेगी; और उन्हें यह मालूम हो जाएगा कि मैं ही हूं, कि मैं ही हूं जो यह कह रहा है. हां, मैं यहां हूं.”
Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks, Behold, it is I.
7 पर्वतों पर से आते हुए उनके पैर कैसे शुभ हैं, जो शुभ संदेश ला रहे हैं, जो शांति, और भलाई की बात सुनाते हैं, जो उद्धार की घोषणा करते हैं, तथा ज़ियोन से कहते हैं, “राज्य तुम्हारे परमेश्वर का है!”
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Thy God reigns!
8 सुनो! तुम्हारे पहरा देनेवाले ऊंचे शब्द से पुकार रहे हैं; वे सभी मिलकर जय जयकार कर रहे हैं. क्योंकि वे देखेंगे, कि याहवेह ज़ियोन को वापस बनाएंगे.
The voice of thy watchmen! They lift up the voice; they sing together. For they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah returns to Zion.
9 हे येरूशलेम के उजड़े स्थानो, तुम उच्च स्वर से जय जयकार करो, क्योंकि याहवेह ने अपने लोगों को शांति दी है, उन्होंने येरूशलेम को छुड़ा दिया है.
Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, for Jehovah has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 याहवेह ने अपना पवित्र हाथ सभी देशों को दिखा दिया है, कि पृथ्वी के दूर-दूर देश के सब लोग हमारे परमेश्वर के द्वारा किए गये उद्धार को देखेंगे.
Jehovah has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
11 चले जाओ यहां से! किसी भी अशुद्ध वस्तु को हाथ न लगाओ! तुम जो याहवेह के पात्रों को उठानेवाले हो, नगर के बीच से निकलकर बाहर चले जाओ तथा अपने आपको शुद्ध करो.
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from there. Touch no unclean thing. Go ye out of the midst of her. Cleanse yourselves, ye who bear the vessels of Jehovah.
12 फिर भी तुम बाहर जाने में उतावली न करना न ही तुम ऐसे जाना मानो तुम चल रहे हो; क्योंकि याहवेह तुम्हारे आगे-आगे चलेंगे, तथा इस्राएल का परमेश्वर तुम्हारे पीछे भी रक्षा करते चलेंगे.
For ye shall not go out in haste, nor shall ye go by flight. For Jehovah will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rearward.
13 देखों, मेरा सेवक बढ़ता जाएगा; वह ऊंचा महान और अति महान हो जाएगा.
Behold, my servant shall deal wisely. He shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
14 मेरे लोग जिस प्रकार तुम्हें देखकर चकित हुए— क्योंकि उसका रूप व्यक्ति से तथा उसका डीलडौल मनुष्यों से अधिक बिगड़ चुका था—
Just as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred, more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
15 वैसे ही वह बहुत सी जातियों को छिड़केगा, राजा शांत रहेंगे क्योंकि जो बातें नहीं कही गई थी. वे उनके सामने आएंगी, और जो कुछ उन्होंने नहीं सुना था, उन्हें समझ आ जाएगा.
so shall he sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at him. For that which had not been told them they shall see, and that which they had not heard they shall understand.
