यशायाह 45
1 “परमेश्वर के अभिषिक्त कोरेश को याहवेह ने कहा, मैंने उसका दायां हाथ थाम रखा है कि मैं उसके सामने जनताओं को उसके अधीन कर दूं और राजाओं की कमर ढीली कर दूं, कि इसके लिए फाटक खोल दूं ताकि फाटक बंद ही न हो सकें:
Thus, saith Yahweh, to his Anointed, to Cyrus—Whose right hand I have firmly grasped To subdue before him, nations, And the loins of kings, will I ungird, —To open, before him, the two-leaved doors, And, the gates, shall not be shut:
2 मैं तेरे आगे-आगे चलूंगा ऊंची-ऊंची भूमि को सीधा बना दूंगा; मैं कांस्य के दरवाजों को चूर-चूर कर दूंगा लोहे के जंजीर को काटता हुआ निकल जाऊंगा.
I, before thee, will go, And the hills, will I level—The doors of bronze, will I break in pieces, And the bars of iron, will I cut asunder;
3 मैं तुम्हें अंधकार से छिपा हुआ, और गुप्त स्थानों में गढ़ा हुआ धन दूंगा, कि तुम्हें यह मालूम हो जाये कि यह मैं ही वह याहवेह, इस्राएल का परमेश्वर हूं, जो तुम्हें तुम्हारा नाम लेकर बुलाता है.
Then will I give thee The treasures of darkness, Even the hoards of hidden places, —That thou mayest get to know That I—Yahweh, who am calling thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
4 मेरे सेवक याकोब के हित में, तथा मेरे चुने हुए इस्राएल के हित में, तुम्हारा नाम लेकर मैंने बुलाया है, मैंने तुम्हें ऊंचा पद दिया है, परंतु तुम तो मुझे जानते भी न थे.
For the sake of my servant Jacob, Even Israel my chosen Therefore have I called unto thee by thy name, I give thee a title though thou hast not known me, —
5 मैं ही वह याहवेह हूं और कोई नहीं; मेरे सिवाय परमेश्वर कोई नहीं. मैं तुम्हें विषमता के लिए सुसज्जित कर दूंगा, परंतु तुम मुझे जानते ही नहीं थे तो भी मैं तुम्हारी कमर कसूंगा,
I, am Yahweh, and there is none else, Besides me, there is no God, —I gird thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 यह इसलिये कि पूर्व से पश्चिम तक सभी को यह मालूम हो जाए, कि मेरे सिवाय कोई भी नहीं है. याहवेह मैं ही हूं, दूसरा और कोई नहीं.
That men may get to know. From the rising of the sun And from the west. That there is none besides me, —I, am Yahweh, and there is none else:
7 मैं वह हूं जो उजियाला और अंधियारे का सृजन करता हूं, मैं सुख-शांति का दाता और विपत्ति को भी रचता हूं; मैं वह याहवेह हूं, जो इन सबका नाश करता हूं.
Forming light and creating darkness, Making prosperity, and creating misfortune, —I—Yahweh, who doeth all these.
8 “हे आकाश, अपनी ऊंचाई से धार्मिकता बरसा और बादल से धार्मिकता की बारिश हो. पृथ्वी खुल जाए, जिससे उद्धार हो, और नीति भी उसके साथ उगे; मैं, याहवेह ने ही इसकी सृष्टि की है.
Let the drops fall ye heavens, from above, Yea, let, the skies, pour down righteousness, —Let the earth open and let them bear as their fruit—deliverance And let, justice, spring forth therewith, I—Yahweh, have created it.
9 “हाय उस व्यक्ति पर जो अपने रचनेवाले से झगड़ता है, वह तो मिट्टी के बर्तनों के बीच मिट्टी का एक बर्तन है. क्या मिट्टी कुम्हार से कहेगी कि, ‘यह क्या कर रहे हो तुम मेरे साथ?’ क्या कारीगर की बनाई हुई वस्तु यह कहेगी कि, ‘उसके तो हाथ ही नहीं हैं’?
Alas for him who contendeth with his Fashioner, —A potsherd, [should contend] with the potsherds of the ground! Shall it be said by the clay, unto him that is fashioning it, What wouldst thou make? Or, thy work say, of thee, He hath no hands?
10 हाय उस व्यक्ति पर जो अपने पिता से पूछे, ‘किसे जन्म दे रहे हैं आप?’ और अपनी माता से पूछे, ‘तू किसकी माता है?’
Alas, for one who saith to a father, What begettest thou? Or to a woman What dost thou bring forth?
11 “याहवेह जो इस्राएल का पवित्र और उसका बनानेवाला है, वे यों कहते हैं: क्या तुम होनेवाली घटनाओं के बारे में मुझसे पूछोगे, क्या मेरे पुत्रों और मेरे कामों के लिए मुझसे कहोगे?
Thus, saith, Yahweh, The Holy One of Israel And his Fashioner, As to things to come, they have asked me, Concerning my sons and concerning the work of my hands, they would command me!
12 मैं ही हूं वह जिसने पृथ्वी को बनाया तथा मनुष्य की रचना की. अपने ही हाथों से मैंने आकाश को फैलाया; और उसके सारे तारों को आज्ञा दी है.
I, made the earth, And man upon it, I created, —I—mine own hands, stretched out the heavens, And all their host, I commanded:
13 मैंने उसे धार्मिकता में जगाया: तथा अब मैं उसका मार्ग सीधा बनाऊंगा. वह मेरे नगरों को बसायेगा तथा मेरे बंधक को, बिना किसी दाम अथवा बदला लिये छुड़ा लेगा, यह सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह की घोषणा है.”
I, have roused him up in righteousness, And all his roads, will I level, —He, shall build my city, And my captives, shall he let go, Not for price, nor for bribe, Saith Yahweh of hosts.
14 याहवेह का संदेश है: “मिस्र देश की कमाई तथा कूश देश के व्यापार की लाभ सामग्री तथा सीबा के लोग स्वयं तुमसे मिलने आएंगे तथा तुम्हारे अधीन हो जाएंगे; वे झुककर दंडवत करेंगे, वे तुमसे विनती करेंगे और कहेंगे. ‘परमेश्वर आपके साथ हैं, और दूसरा कोई नहीं उसके सिवाय; कोई और परमेश्वर नहीं.’”
Thus, saith Yahweh—The produce of Egypt and the gain of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, men of great stature, Unto thee, shall come over, And thine, shall they become, After thee, shall they journey, In chains, shall they come over, —And unto thee, shall they bow down Unto thee, shall they pray [saying], —Surely, in thee, is a GOD And there is none else—no, God!
15 हे इस्राएल के परमेश्वर, हे उद्धारकर्ता, सच तो यह है कि आप अपरंपार परमेश्वर हैं, जो स्वयं को अदृश्य कर लेते हैं.
Surely, thou, art a GOD utterly hiding thyself, —O God of Israel, able to save!
16 वे लज्जित किए जाएंगे यहां तक कि वे अपमानित हो जाएंगे, वे सभी; वे जो मूर्तियों को बनानेवाले सब लज्जित और अपमानित किए जाएंगे.
They have turned pale and even been put to shame, all of them, —Together have they gone into disgrace, have the makers of images:
17 इस्राएल याहवेह द्वारा छुड़ा दिया गया है, उनका यह छुटकारा सदा तक स्थिर रहेगा; फिर न तो वे लज्जित किए जाएंगे, और न ही अपमानित होंगे.
Israel, hath been delivered by Yahweh, with an age-abiding deliverance, —Ye shall neither turn pale nor he put to shame, unto the ages of futurity,
18 आकाश का रचनेवाला याहवेह, वही परमेश्वर; जिन्होंने पृथ्वी की रचना कर उसे रूप दिया, और उन्होंने इसे स्थिर किया; तथा इसमें एक भी स्थान ऐसा नहीं जो बसाया गया न हो, लेकिन इसको इसलिये बनाया कि इसे बसाया जाये— वह यों कहता है: “मैं ही वह याहवेह हूं, अन्य कोई भी नहीं.
For, Thus, saith Yahweh, Who created the heavens God himself! Who fashioned the earth—And made it Himself, established it, …Not a waste, created he it To be dwelt in, he fashioned it, …I, am Yahweh, and there is none else:
19 मैंने जो कुछ कहा है वह गुप्त में नहीं कहा है, न ही अंधकार में; मैंने याकोब के वंश को यह नहीं कहा कि, ‘मेरी खोज व्यर्थ में करो.’ मैं, याहवेह, सत्य ही कहता हूं; मैं सही बातें ही बताता आया हूं.
Not in secret, have I spoken In a place of the earth that is dark, —I have not said unto the seed of Jacob, In a waste, seek ye me, —I, am Yahweh, Speaking the thing that is right, Declaring the things that are just.
20 “हे अन्यजातियों में से बचे हुए लोगो, एक साथ पास आओ; वे जो लकड़ी की खुदी हुई मूर्ति लेकर फिरते हैं. जिससे उद्धार नहीं हो सकता, वे अनजान है इसलिये प्रार्थना करते हैं.
Assemble yourselves and come Draw near together, ye escaped of the nations, —They know not Who carry the wood of their carved image, And pray unto a GOD who cannot save.
21 प्रचार करके उनको लाओ, कि वे आपस में मिलें, किसने पहले ये बताया और सब प्रकट किया. क्या मैं याहवेह ही ने यह सब नहीं किया? इसी लिये मुझे छोड़ और कोई दूसरा परमेश्वर नहीं है, धर्मी और उद्धारकर्ता; परमेश्वर मैं ही हूं.
Tell ye—and bring near, Yea let them take counsel, together, —Who let this be known aforetime. In time past, declared it? Was it not, I—Yahweh? And there is none else that is God besides me, A GOD, righteous and ready to save, There is none, besides me!
22 “हे सारी पृथ्वी के लोगो, मेरी ओर फिरो; क्योंकि परमेश्वर मैं ही हूं, कोई नहीं है मेरे सिवाय.
Turn unto me—and be ye saved, all ye ends of the earth, —For, I, am GOD, and there is none else.
23 मैंने अपनी ही शपथ ली है, धर्म के अनुसार मेरे मुंह से यह वचन निकला है यह नहीं बदलेगा: हर एक घुटना मेरे सामने झुकेगा; और मुंह से मेरी शपथ खाई जाएगी.
By myself, have I sworn, Gone forth out of my mouth, is righteousness as a decree And shall not turn back, —That, unto myself, Shall bow every knee, Shall swear every tongue:
24 मेरे विषय में लोग कहेंगे कि, ‘केवल याहवेह में ही नीति और शक्ति है.’” मनुष्य उनकी ओर चले आएंगे, वे सभी जिन्होंने उन पर क्रोध किया वे लज्जित किए जाएंगे.
Only in Yahweh—for me, Hath one said, Is there righteousness and strength, Unto him, shall come and turn pale—All who have been incensed against him:
25 इस्राएल के सारे लोग याहवेह ही के कारण धर्मी ठहरेंगे और उसकी महिमा करेंगे.
In Yahweh, shall be justified and shall boast themselves—All the seed of Israel.
