होशे 12
1 एफ्राईम हवा को अपना भोजन बनाता है; वह सारा दिन पूर्वी वायु का पीछा करता है और अपने झूठ और हिंसा को बढ़ाता रहता है. वह अश्शूर देश से संधि करता है और मिस्र देश को जैतून का तेल भेजता है.
Ephraim [is] feeding wind and [is] pursuing an east wind all the day falsehood and violence he increases and a covenant with Assyria they are making and oil to Egypt it is carried.
2 यहूदिया के विरुद्ध भी याहवेह का आरोप है; वह याकोब को उसके चालचलन के अनुसार दंड देंगे और उसके कार्यों के अनुरूप उसको बदला देंगे.
And a case at law [belongs] to Yahweh with Judah and to visit [judgment] on Jacob according to ways his according to deeds his he will repay to him.
3 जब याकोब ने अपने मां के कोख से ही अपने भाई की एड़ी जकड़ ली थी; एक मनुष्य के रूप में उसने परमेश्वर से संघर्ष किया.
In the womb he took by [the] heel brother his and in manly vigor his he struggled with God.
4 उसने स्वर्गदूत से संघर्ष किया और उस पर प्रबल हुआ; वह रोया और उससे कृपादृष्टि के लिये विनती की. बेथेल में वह परमेश्वर से मिला और वहां उसने उनसे बातें की—
And he struggled against an angel and he prevailed he wept and he sought favor to him Beth-el he found him and there he spoke with us.
5 याहवेह सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर, याहवेह उनका नाम है!
And Yahweh [the] God of hosts Yahweh [is] memorial his.
6 पर अवश्य है कि तुम अपने परमेश्वर के पास लौटो; प्रेम और न्याय के काम में बने रहो, और हमेशा अपने परमेश्वर पर निर्भर रहो.
And you in God your you will return loyalty and justice keep and wait to God your continually.
7 व्यापारी गलत नाप का उपयोग करता है और छल करना उसको अच्छा लगता है,
Canaan [who are] in hand his scales of deceit to defraud he loves.
8 एफ्राईम घमंड करता है, “मैं बहुत धनवान हूं; मैं धनी हो गया हूं. मेरी सारी संपत्ति सहित वे मुझमें कोई अपराध या पाप नहीं पाएंगे.”
And he has said Ephraim surely I have become rich I have found wealth for myself all toil my not people will find to me iniquity which [is] sin.
9 “जब से तुम मिस्र देश से निकलकर आये, मैं याहवेह तुम्हारा परमेश्वर हूं; मैं फिर तुम्हें तंबुओं में निवास कराऊंगा, जैसे कि तुम्हारे ठहराए त्योहार के दिनों में हुआ करता था.
And I [have been] Yahweh God your from [the] land of Egypt again I will cause to dwell you in tents like [the] days of an appointed feast.
10 मैंने भविष्यवक्ताओं से बात किया, उन्हें कई दर्शन दिखाये और उनके माध्यम से अनेक दृष्टांत बताये.”
And I spoke to the prophets and I vision[s] I multiplied and by [the] hand of the prophets I gave parables.
11 क्या गिलआद दुष्ट है? इसके लोग बेकार हैं! क्या वे गिलगाल में बैलों का बलिदान करते हैं? उनकी वेदियां जोते गये खेत में पत्थरों के ढेर के समान होंगी.
[is] Gilead Wickedness surely worthlessness they are in Gilgal bulls they have sacrificed also altars their [are] like heaps of stones on [the] furrows of a field.
12 याकोब तो अराम देश को भाग गया; इस्राएल ने एक पत्नी पाने के लिये सेवा की, और उसका दाम चुकाने के लिये उसने भेड़ें चराई.
And he fled Jacob [the] region of Aram and he served Israel for a wife and for a wife he kept [flocks].
13 याहवेह ने मिस्र से इस्राएल को निकालने के लिये एक भविष्यवक्ता का उपयोग किया, एक भविष्यवक्ता के द्वारा उसने उसका ध्यान रखा.
And by a prophet he brought up Yahweh Israel from Egypt and by a prophet he was kept.
14 पर एफ्राईम ने याहवेह के क्रोध को बहुत भड़काया है; उसका प्रभु उसके द्वारा किए गये खून का दोष उसी पर रहने देगा और उसके अनादर के लिये उसको बदला चुकाएगा.
He has provoked to anger Ephraim bitterness and blood his on him he will leave and reproach his he will repay to him lord his.
