इब्रानियों 1
1 पूर्व में परमेश्वर ने भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के माध्यम से हमारे पूर्वजों से अनेक समय खण्डों में विभिन्न प्रकार से बातें की,
God in tyme past diversly and many wayes spake vnto the fathers by Prophetes:
2 किंतु अब इस अंतिम समय में उन्होंने हमसे अपने पुत्र के द्वारा बातें की हैं, जिन्हें परमेश्वर ने सारी सृष्टि का वारिस चुना और जिनके द्वारा उन्होंने युगों की सृष्टि की. (aiōn g165)
but in these last dayes he hath spoken vnto vs by his sonne whom he hath made heyre of all thinges: by who also he made the worlde. (aiōn g165)
3 पुत्र ही परमेश्वर की महिमा का प्रकाश तथा उनके तत्व का प्रतिबिंब है. वह अपने सामर्थ्य के वचन से सारी सृष्टि को स्थिर बनाये रखता है. जब वह हमें हमारे पापों से धो चुके, वह महिमामय ऊंचे पर विराजमान परमेश्वर की दायीं ओर में बैठ गए.
Which sonne beynge the brightnes of his glory and very ymage of his substance bearinge vp all thinges with the worde of his power hath in his awne person pourged oure synnes and is sitten on the right honde of the maiestie an hye
4 वह स्वर्गदूतों से उतने ही उत्तम हो गए जितनी स्वर्गदूतों से उत्तम उन्हें प्रदान की गई महिमा थी.
and is more excellent then the angels in as moche as he hath by inheritaunce obteyned an excellenter name then have they.
5 भला किस स्वर्गदूत से परमेश्वर ने कभी यह कहा: “तुम मेरे पुत्र हो! आज मैं तुम्हारा पिता हो गया हूं?” तथा यह: “उसका पिता मैं बन जाऊंगा और वह मेरा पुत्र हो जाएगा?”
For vnto which of the angels sayde he ateny tyme: Thou arte my sonne this daye be gate I the? And agayne: I will be his father and he shalbe my sonne.
6 और तब, वह अपने पहलौठे पुत्र को संसार के सामने प्रस्तुत करते हुए कहते हैं: “परमेश्वर के सभी स्वर्गदूत उनके पुत्र की वंदना करें.”
And agayne whe he bringeth in the fyrst begotten sonne in to the worlde he sayth: And all the angels of God shall worshippe him.
7 स्वर्गदूतों के विषय में उनका कहना है: “वह अपने स्वर्गदूतों को हवा में और अपने सेवकों को आग की लपटों में बदल देते हैं.”
And of the angels he sayth: He maketh his angels spretes and his ministres flammes of fyre.
8 परंतु पुत्र के विषय में: “हे परमेश्वर, आपका सिंहासन अनश्वर है; आपके राज्य का राजदंड वही होगा, जो सच्चाई का राजदंड है. (aiōn g165)
But vnto the sonne he sayth: God thy seate shalbe forever and ever. The cepter of thy kyngdome is a right cepter. (aiōn g165)
9 धार्मिकता आपको प्रिय है तथा दुष्टता घृणास्पद; यही कारण है कि परमेश्वर, आपके परमेश्वर ने हर्ष के तेल से आपको अभिषिक्त करके आपके समस्त साथियों से ऊंचे स्थान पर बसा दिया है.
Thou hast loved rightewesnes and hated iniquyte. Wherfore God which is thy God hath anoynted the with ye oyle of gladnes above thy felowes.
10 और, “प्रभु! आपने प्रारंभ में ही पृथ्वी की नींव रखी, तथा आकाशमंडल आपके ही हाथों की कारीगरी है.
And thou Lorde in the begynninge hast layde the foundacion of the erth. And the heves are the workes of thy hondes.
11 वे तो नष्ट हो जाएंगे किंतु आप अस्तित्व में ही रहेंगे. वे सभी वस्त्र समान पुराने हो जाएंगे.
They shall perisshe but thou shalt endure. They all shall wexe olde as doth a garment:
12 आप उन्हें वस्त्रों के ही समान परिवर्तित कर देंगे. उनका अस्तित्व समाप्त हो जाएगा. पर आप न बदलनेवाले हैं, आपके समय का कोई अंत नहीं.”
and as a vesture shalt thou chaunge them and they shalbe chaunged. But thou arte all wayes and thy yeres shall not fayle.
13 भला किस स्वर्गदूत से परमेश्वर ने यह कहा, “मेरी दायीं ओर में बैठ जाओ जब तक मैं तुम्हारे शत्रुओं को तुम्हारे चरणों की चौकी न बना दूं”?
Vnto which of the angels sayde he at eny tyme? Sit on my ryght honde tyll I make thyne enemyes thy fote stole.
14 क्या सभी स्वर्गदूत सेवा के लिए चुनी आत्माएं नहीं हैं कि वे उनकी सेवा करें, जो उद्धार पानेवाले हैं?
Are they not all mynistrynge spretes sent to minister for their sakes which shalbe heyres of salvacion?
