1 यह घटना मेरी बंधुआई के तीसवें वर्ष के चौथे माह के पांचवें दिन की है, जब मैं बंदियों के साथ खेबर नदी के तट पर था, तब आकाश खुल गया और मुझे परमेश्वर का दर्शन हुआ.
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
2 —यह राजा यहोयाकिन के बंधुआई के पांचवें वर्ष के चौथे माह के पांचवें दिन की घटना है—
On the fifth day of the month, in the fifth year of the captivity of King Jehoiachin,
3 बाबेलवासियों के देश में खेबर नदी के तट पर, बुज़ी के पुत्र पुरोहित यहेजकेल के पास याहवेह का यह वचन आया. वहां याहवेह का हाथ उस पर था.
the word of Jehovah came to Ezekiel, the son of Buzi, the priest, in the land of the Chaldaeans, by the river Chebar; and the hand of Jehovah was there upon him.
4 मैंने देखा कि उत्तर दिशा से एक बड़ी आंधी आ रही थी—कड़कती बिजली के साथ एक बहुत बड़ा बादल और चारों तरफ तेज प्रकाश था. आग का बीच वाला भाग तपता हुआ लाल धातु के समान दिख रहा था,
And I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came from the north, a great cloud, and a mass of fire; and a brightness was round about it, and in the midst of it the appearance of bright brass, in the midst of the fire.
5 और आग में चार जीवित प्राणी जैसे दिख रहे थे. दिखने में उनका स्वरूप मानव जैसे था,
And in the midst of it were the forms of four living creatures. And this was their appearance. They had the form of a man.
6 पर इनमें से हर एक के चार-चार मुंह और चार-चार पंख थे.
And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7 उनके पैर सीधे थे; उनके पांव बछड़े के खुर के समान थे और चिकने कांसे के समान चमक रहे थे.
And their feet were upright; and the sole of their feet was as the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like polished brass.
8 उनके चारों तरफ पंखों के नीचे उनके मनुष्य के समान हाथ थे. उन चारों के मुंह और पंख थे,
And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides, and all four had faces and wings.
9 उनके पंख एक दूसरे के पंख को छू रहे थे. हर एक आगे सीधा जा रहा था, और वे बिना मुड़े आगे बढ़ रहे थे.
Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not about when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10 उनका मुंह इस प्रकार दिखता था: चारों में से हर एक का एक मुंह मनुष्य का था, और दाहिने तरफ हर एक का मुंह सिंह का, और बायें तरफ हर एक मुंह बैल का; और हर एक का एक गरुड़ का मुंह भी था.
As for the form of their faces, all four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side, and all four had the face of an ox on the left side, and all four had also the face of an eagle.
11 इस प्रकार उनके मुंह थे. उनमें से हर एक के दो पंख ऊपर की ओर फैले थे, और ये पंख अपने दोनों तरफ के प्राणी को छू रहे थे और हर एक अन्य दो पंखों से अपने शरीर को ढांपे हुए थे.
Thus were their faces. And their wings were expanded upward; two wings of every one were joined, and two covered their bodies.
12 हर एक आगे सीधा जा रहा था. जहां कहीं भी आत्मा जाती थी, वे भी बिना मुड़े उधर ही जाते थे.
And they went every one straight forward; whither the spirit was to go, they went, and they turned not about when they went.
13 उन जीवित प्राणियों का रूप आग के जलते कोयलों या मशालों के समान था. वह आग प्राणियों के बीच इधर-उधर खसक रही थी; यह चमकीला था, और इससे बिजली चमक रही थी.
And the appearance of the living creatures was as coals of fire, burning like torches; and the fire moved about among the living creatures, and shone forth brightly; and out of the fire came forth lightning.
14 वे प्राणी बिजली की चमक समान तेजी से इधर-उधर हो रहे थे.
And the living creatures ran backward and forward like a flash of lightning.
15 जब मैं जीवित प्राणियों को देख रहा था, तब मैंने देखा कि उन चार मुहों वाले हर एक जीवित प्राणियों के बाजू में एक-एक पहिया था.
Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold, there stood a wheel upon the earth by each of the living creatures, with its four sides.
16 उन पहियों का रूप और बनावट इस प्रकार थी: वे पुखराज के समान चमक रहे थे, और चारों एक जैसे दिखते थे. हर एक पहिया ऐसे बनाया गया दिखता था मानो एक पहिये के भीतर दूसरा पहिया हो.
The appearance of the wheels, and their work, was like that of a chrysolite, and all four had one form, and their appearance and their work was as if a wheel had been within a wheel.
17 जब वे आगे बढ़ते थे, तो वे चारों दिशाओं में उस दिशा की ओर जाते थे, जिस दिशा में प्राणियों का चेहरा होता था; जब प्राणी चलते थे, तो पहिये अपनी दिशा नहीं बदलते थे.
When they went, they went upon their four sides, and they turned not about when they went.
18 इन पहियों के घेरे ऊंचे और अद्भुत थे, और चारों पहियों के घेरो में सब तरफ आंखें ही आंखें थी.
As for their felloes, they were high and terrible; and their felloes were full of eyes round about upon all four of them.
19 जब वे जीवित प्राणी आगे बढ़ते थे, तब उनके बाजू के पहिये भी आगे बढ़ते थे; और जब वे जीवित प्राणी भूमि पर से ऊपर उठते थे, तो पहिये भी ऊपर उठते थे.
And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
20 जहां कहीं भी आत्मा जाती थी, वे भी जाते थे, और वे पहिये उनके साथ ऊपर उठते थे, क्योंकि जीवित प्राणियों की आत्मा उन पहियों में थी.
Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, whithersoever the spirit was to go; and the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
21 जब वे प्राणी आगे बढ़ते थे, तो ये भी आगे बढ़ते थे; जब वे प्राणी खड़े होते थे, तो ये भी खड़े हो जाते थे; और जब वे प्राणी भूमि से ऊपर उठते थे, तो ये पहिये भी उनके साथ ऊपर उठते थे, क्योंकि जीवित प्राणियों की आत्मा इन पहियों में थी.
When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22 सजीव प्राणियों के सिर के ऊपर जो फैला हुआ था, वह गुम्बज के समान दिखता था, और स्फटिक के समान चमक रहा था, और अद्भुत था.
And over the heads of the living creatures was the appearance of a firmament, like crystal, terrible, spread out over their heads above.
23 गुम्बज के नीचे उनके पंख एक दूसरे की ओर फैले हुए थे, और हर एक प्राणी के दो पंख से उनके अपने शरीर ढके हुए थे.
And under the firmament were their wings upright, the one toward the other; and every one had two, which covered his body.
24 जब वे प्राणी आगे बढ़ते थे, तो मैंने सुना, उनके पंखों से तेजी से बहते पानी के गर्जन जैसी, सर्वशक्तिमान के आवाज जैसी, सेना के कोलाहल जैसी आवाज आती थी. जब वे खड़े होते थे, तो वे अपने पंख नीचे कर लेते थे.
And I heard the sound of their wings, as the sound of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, when they went, —a sound like the noise of a host. And when they stood still, they let down their wings.
25 जब वे खड़े थे और उनके पंख झुके हुए थे, तब उनके सिर के ऊपर स्थित गुम्बज के ऊपर से एक आवाज आई.
And there was a voice from the firmament, that was over their heads; and they stood still, and let down their wings.
26 उनके सिर के ऊपर स्थित गुम्बज के ऊपर कुछ ऐसा था जो नीलमणि के सिंहासन जैसे दिखता था, और इस ऊंचे सिंहासन के ऊपर मनुष्य के जैसा कोई दिख रहा था.
And above the firmament over their heads was an appearance like a sapphire-stone, the form of a throne; and upon the form of the throne there was a form like that of a man above.
27 मैंने देखा कि उसके कमर से ऊपर वह चमकते धातु की तरह दिखता था, मानो वह आग से भरा हो, और उसके कमर से नीचे वह आग के समान दिखता था, और वह चमकते प्रकाश से घिरा हुआ था.
And I saw what had the appearance of bright brass, what had the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins and upward. And from the appearance of his loins downward I saw what had the appearance of fire, and its brightness was round about him.
28 जैसे किसी बरसात के दिन बादल में धनुष दिखाई पड़ता है, वैसे ही उसके चारों ओर प्रकाश की चमक थी. याहवेह के तेज के जैसा यह रूप था. जब मैंने उसे देखा, तो मैं मुंह के बल ज़मीन पर गिरा, और मैंने किसी के बात करने की आवाज सुनी.
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the glory of Jehovah. And when I saw it I fell upon my face, and I heard the voice of one who spoke.
