यहेजकेल 34

1 याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

2 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, इस्राएल के चरवाहों के विरुद्ध भविष्यवाणी करो; भविष्यवाणी करके कहो: ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: धिक्कार है तुम पर, हे इस्राएल के चरवाहों, जो सिर्फ अपना ही ध्यान रखते हो! क्या चरवाहों को झुंड का ध्यान नहीं रखना चाहिये?

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

3 तुम दही खाते हो, ऊनी कपड़े पहनते हो और खाने के लिये चुनकर पशुओं को काटते हो, पर तुम झुंड का ध्यान नहीं रखते हो.

Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill that which is fatted; but ye feed not the flock.

4 तुमने कमजोर को बलवान नहीं किया, बीमार को चंगा नहीं किया या घायल की मरहम पट्टी नहीं किया. तुम भटके हुओं को सही रास्ते पर नहीं लाए या खोये हुओं को नहीं ढूंढ़े. तुमने उन पर कठोरता और निर्दयता से शासन किया है.

The weak do ye not strengthen, and the sick do ye not heal, and the wounded do ye not bind up; ye bring not back that which hath been driven away, neither seek ye that which hath been lost; but with force and with cruelty do ye rule them.

5 इसलिये वे तितर-बितर हो गये, क्योंकि उनका कोई चरवाहा न था, और जब वे तितर-बितर हो गये, तो वे सब जंगली पशुओं का आहार बन गये.

Therefore are they scattered abroad, because there is no shepherd, and they are food to all the beasts of the field, or are scattered abroad.

6 मेरी भेड़ें सब पहाड़ों और ऊंचे पठारों पर भटकती रहीं. वे सारी पृथ्वी पर तितर-बितर हो गईं, और किसी ने भी उनको नहीं ढूंढ़ा या उनकी सुधि नहीं ली.

My sheep wander through all the mountains, and upon every high hill; yea, over the whole face of the land is my flock scattered, and none careth for them, or seeketh them.

7 “‘इसलिये हे चरवाहों, याहवेह की बात सुनो:

Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah:

8 परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है, मैं अपने जीवन की शपथ खाकर कहता हूं, क्योंकि मेरे झुंड का कोई चरवाहा नहीं है और इसलिये उसे लूटा गया है और वह सब जंगली पशुओं का आहार बन गया है, और क्योंकि मेरे चरवाहों ने मेरे झुंड की खोज नहीं की और मेरे झुंड पर ध्यान देने के बदले अपने आप पर ध्यान दिया,

As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely, because my flock is become a prey, and my flock is become meat to all the beasts of the field because there is no shepherd, and because my shepherds search not for my flock, and feed themselves, and feed not my flock, —

9 इसलिये हे चरवाहों, तुम याहवेह की बात सुनो:

therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Jehovah.

10 परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं चरवाहों के विरुद्ध हूं और मैं उनसे अपने झुंड का लेखा लूंगा. मैं उनको झुंड को चराने के काम से हटा दूंगा ताकि चरवाहे फिर अपना भरण-पोषण न कर सकें. मैं उनके मुंह से अपने झुंड को छुड़ाऊंगा, और वे फिर उनका आहार नहीं होंगे.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, and they shall not be meat for them.

11 “‘क्योंकि परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं स्वयं अपनी भेड़ों को खोजूंगा और उनकी देखभाल करूंगा.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold I, even I, will seek my flock, and look after them;

12 जिस प्रकार एक चरवाहा अपने बिखरे हुए झुंड की देखभाल करता है, जब वह उनके साथ होता है, उस प्रकार मैं भी अपने भेड़ों की देखभाल करूंगा. मैं उन्हें उन सब जगहों से बचाऊंगा, जहां वे बादलों और अंधकार से घिरे दिन में तितर-बितर हो गये थे.

as a shepherd looketh after his flock in the day when he is among his sheep that are scattered, so will I look after my sheep, and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in the day of clouds and darkness.

13 मैं उन्हें जाति-जाति के लोगों बीच से निकालकर लाऊंगा और देश-देश से उन्हें इकट्ठा करूंगा, और मैं उन्हें उनके स्वयं के देश में ले आऊंगा. मैं उन्हें इस्राएल के पर्वतों पर, घाटियों में और देश के उन सारे जगहों में चराऊंगा, जहां लोग बसे हुए हैं.

And I will bring them out from the nations, and gather them from the countries; and I will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel, in the valleys, and in all the dwelling-places of the land.

14 मैं उन्हें अच्छे चरागाह में चराऊंगा, और इस्राएल के पर्वत की ऊंचाइयां उनके चरने के स्थान होंगे. वहां वे अच्छे चरने की जगह पर लेटेंगे, और वहां वे इस्राएल के पर्वतों पर एक अच्छे चरागाह में चरेंगे.

I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be; there shall they lie down in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

15 मैं स्वयं अपनी भेड़ों को चराऊंगा और उन्हें आराम कराऊंगा, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.

I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord Jehovah.

16 मैं खोए हुओं को खोजूंगा और भटके हुओं को वापस ले आऊंगा. मैं घायलों की मरहम पट्टी करूंगा और जो कमजोर हैं, उन्हें बलवान बनाऊंगा, पर जो चिकने और पुष्ट हैं, उन्हें नष्ट कर दूंगा. मैं न्याय के साथ झुंड की देखभाल करूंगा.

I will seek that which was lost, and bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong will I destroy; I will feed them as they deserve.

17 “‘जहां तक तुम्हारा सवाल है, हे मेरे झुंड, परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं एक भेड़ और दूसरी भेड़ के बीच, और मेढ़ों और बकरों-बकरियों के बीच न्याय करूंगा.

And as for you, O my sheep, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will judge between the weak of the flock and the strong ones, even the rams and the he-goats.

18 क्या तुम्हारे लिये यह पर्याप्‍त नहीं है कि तुम अच्छे चरागाह में चरो? क्या ज़रूरी है कि अपने बचे हुए चरागाह को अपने पैरों से रौंदो? क्या साफ पानी पीना तुम्हारे लिये पर्याप्‍त नहीं है? क्या ज़रूरी है कि बाकी को अपने पैरों से गंदा करो?

Seemeth it a small thing to you to eat up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to drink of the clear waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

19 क्या ज़रूरी है कि मेरा झुंड उसमें से खाएं, जिसे तुमने रौंद दिया है और उसमें से पिए जिसे तुमने अपने पैरों से गंदा कर दिया है?

and that my sheep eat that which ye have trodden with your feet, and drink that which ye have fouled with your feet?

20 “‘इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का उनसे यह कहना है: देखो, मैं स्वयं मोटी भेड़ और पतली भेड़ के बीच न्याय करूंगा.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah to them: Behold I, even I, will judge between the fat and the lean of the flock.

21 क्योंकि तुम सब दुर्बल भेड़ों को अपने बाजू और अपने कंधों से तब तक ढकेलते और उन्हें सींग मारते हो, जब तक कि वे दूर नहीं चले जाते,

Because ye thrust with your side and with your shoulder, and push all the weak with your horns, till ye scatter them abroad,

22 मैं अपनी भेड़ों को बचाऊंगा, और उन्हें फिर लूटा नहीं जाएगा. मैं एक भेड़ और दूसरी भेड़ के बीच न्याय करूंगा.

therefore will I save my sheep, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

23 मैं उनके ऊपर एक चरवाहा, अपने सेवक दावीद को ठहराऊंगा, और वह उनको चराएगा; वह उनको चराएगा और उनका चरवाहा होगा.

And I will raise up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

24 मैं याहवेह उनका परमेश्वर ठहरूंगा, और मेरा सेवक दावीद उनके बीच राजकुमार होगा. मैं याहवेह ने कहा है.

And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them. I, Jehovah, have spoken it.

25 “‘मैं उनके साथ शांति की एक वाचा बांधूंगा और देश को दुष्ट पशुओं से छुटकारा दूंगा, ताकि वे निर्जन प्रदेश में सुरक्षित रहें और जंगलों में चैन से सोएं.

And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, so that they shall dwell safely in the desert, and sleep in the woods.

26 मैं उन्हें तथा मेरी पहाड़ी के आस-पास के जगहों को आशीष का कारण बनाऊंगा. मैं समय पर बारिश भेजूंगा; वहां आशीष की बारिश होगी.

And I will make them, and the places round about my hill, a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; showers rich in blessings shall there be.

27 पेड़ों में फल लगेंगे और भूमि अपना उपज देगी; लोग अपने देश में सुरक्षित रहेंगे. जब मैं उनके जूए को तोड़ूंगा और उन्हें उन लोगों के हाथों से छुड़ाऊंगा, जिन्होंने उन्हें गुलाम बना लिया है, तब वे जानेंगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं.

And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase; and they shall be secure in their land, and shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall break the bands of their yoke and deliver them out of the hand of them that made them servants.

28 वे जाति-जाति के लोगों के द्वारा फिर लूटे नहीं जाएंगे, और न ही जंगली जानवर उन्हें फाड़ खाएंगे. वे सुरक्षित रहेंगे, और उन्हें कोई नहीं डराएगा.

And they shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell in security, and none shall make them afraid.

29 मैं उन्हें एक ऐसा देश दूंगा, जो अपने फसल के लिये जाना जाता है, और वे देश में फिर अकाल से पीड़ित न होंगे या जाति-जाति के लोग उन्हें अपमानित नहीं करेंगे.

And I will raise up for them a plantation for my glory; and they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, neither shall they bear the reproach of the nations any more.

30 तब वे जानेंगे कि मैं, याहवेह उनका परमेश्वर उनके साथ हूं और यह भी कि वे, इस्राएली मेरे लोग हैं, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.

Then shall they know, that I, Jehovah, their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord Jehovah.

31 तुम मेरी भेड़ें हो, मेरे चरागाह की भेड़ें, और मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर हूं, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.’”

For ye, my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord Jehovah.
