यहेजकेल 24
1 नवें वर्ष के, दसवें माह के दसवें दिन, याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:
And the word of the Lord came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, the tenth day of the month, saying:
2 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, आज के दिन को लिख लो, आज ही के दिन, क्योंकि बाबेल के राजा ने आज ही के दिन येरूशलेम की घेराबंदी की है.
Son of man, write thee the name of this day, on which the king of Babylon hath set himself against Jerusalem today.
3 इन विद्रोही लोगों को एक दृष्टांत सुनाओ और उनसे कहो: ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “‘पकाने के बर्तन को चूल्हे पर रखो, चूल्हे पर रखो और उसमें पानी डालो.
And thou shalt speak by a figure a parable to the provoking house, and say to them: Thus saith the Lord God: Set on a pot, set it on, I say, and put water into it.
4 तब उसमें मांस के टुकड़े डाल दो, सब अच्छे टुकड़े—जांघ और कंधा. इन उत्तम हड्डियों से उसे भर दो;
Heap together into if the pieces thereof, every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder, choice pieces and full of bones.
5 झुंड के सबसे अच्छे पशु को लो. तब हड्डियों के लिये बर्तन के नीचे लकड़ियां डालो; उसे अच्छे से उबालो और उसमें हड्डियों को पकाओ.
Take the fattest of the flock, and lay together piles of bones under it: the seething thereof is boiling hot, and the bones thereof are thoroughly sodden in the midst of it.
6 क्योंकि परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “‘धिक्कार है रक्तपात करनेवाले शहर पर, धिक्कार है उस बर्तन पर, जिसमें जंग लगा है, जिसमें का जंग नहीं जाता है! उसमें से मांस को एक-एक टुकड़ा करके निकालो जो भी क्रम में ये टुकड़े आते हैं उन्हें निकालो.
Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose rust is in it, and its rust is not gone out of it: cast it out piece by piece, there hath no lot fallen upon it.
7 “‘क्योंकि उस शहर ने जो रक्तपात किया है, वह अपने ही बीच किया है: उसने खून को खाली चट्टान पर उंडेल दिया है; उसने खून को भूमि पर नहीं उंडेला, जहां धूल उसे ढांप ले.
For her blood is in the midst of her, she hath shed it upon the smooth rock: she hath not shed it upon the ground, that it might be covered with dust.
8 कोप को भड़काने और बदला लेने के लिये मैंने उसके खून को खाली चट्टान पर डाला है, ताकि उसे ढांपा न जाय.
And that I might bring my indignation upon her, and take my vengeance: I have shed her blood upon the smooth rock, that it should not be covered.
9 इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “‘धिक्कार है रक्तपात करनेवाले शहर पर! मैं, भी लकड़ी का ऊंचा ढेर लगाऊंगा.
Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city, of which I will make a great bonfire.
10 लकड़ी का ढेर लगाओ और उसमें आग लगाओ. मांस को मसाले में मिलाकर उसे अच्छी तरह पकाओ; हड्डियों को हल्का सा जलने दो.
Heap together the bones, which I will burn with Are: the flesh shall be consumed, and the whole composition shall be sodden, and the bones shall be consumed.
11 तब खाली बर्तन को आग पर रखो जब तक कि यह गर्म होकर इसका तांबा लाल न हो जाए, ताकि इसकी अशुद्धता पिघल जाए और उसमें लगा जंग जल जाए.
Then set it empty upon burning coals, that it may be hot, and the brass thereof may be melted: and let the filth of it be melted in the midst thereof, and let the rust of it be consumed.
12 इसने सारे परिश्रम को बेकार किया है; इसमें लगा भारी जंग नहीं निकला है, और तो और आग से भी नहीं निकला.
Great pains have been taken, and the great rust thereof is not gone out, not even by fire.
13 “‘तुम्हारी अशुद्धता काम-वासना है. क्योंकि मैंने तुम्हें साफ करने की कोशिश की, पर तुम अपनी अशुद्धता से साफ नहीं होते, अब तुम फिर तब तक साफ किए न जाओगे, जब तक कि मेरा कोप तुम्हारे विरुद्ध शांत न हो जाए.
Thy uncleanness is execrable: because I desired to cleanse thee, and thou art not cleansed from thy filthiness: neither shalt thou be cleansed, before I cause my indignation to rest in thee.
14 “‘मैं, याहवेह ने कहा है. मेरे लिये काम करने का समय आ गया है. मैं नहीं छोड़ूंगा; मैं दया नहीं करूंगा, न ही नरम होऊंगा. तुम्हारे चालचलन और तुम्हारे कार्यों के अनुसार तुम्हारा न्याय होगा, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.’”
I the Lord have spoken: it shall come to pass, and I will do it: I will not pass by, nor spare, nor be pacified: I will judge thee according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, saith the Lord.
15 याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
16 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, मैं एक ही प्रहार में तुमसे तुम्हारे आंखों की खुशी छीनने ही वाला हूं. तौभी तुम शोकित न हो, न ही रोओ और न ही आंसू बहाओ.
Son of man, behold I take from thee the desire of thy eyes with a stroke: and thou shalt not lament, nor weep: neither shall thy tears run down.
17 चुपचाप कराहो; मरे हुओं के लिये शोकित न हो. अपनी पगड़ी बांधे रहना और अपनी जूती पहने रहना; अपनी दाढ़ी और मूंछ को न ढांकना या शोक करनेवालों की प्रथा अनुसार होनेवाला भोजन न करना.”
Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead: let the tire of thy head be upon thee, and thy shoes on thy feet, and cover not thy face, nor eat the meat of mourners.
18 इसलिये सुबह मैं लोगों से बात किया, और शाम को मेरी पत्नी मर गई. उसके अगले सुबह मैंने वैसा ही किया, जैसा मुझे आदेश दिया गया था.
So I spoke to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening: and I did in the morning as he had commanded me.
19 तब लोग मुझसे पूछने लगे, “क्या तुम हमें नहीं बताओगे कि इन चीज़ों का हमसे क्या लेना देना है? तुम ऐसा क्यों कर रहे हो?”
And the people said to me: Why dost thou not tell us what these things mean that thou doest?
20 इसलिये मैंने उनसे कहा, “याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:
And I said to them: The word of the Lord came to me, saying:
21 इस्राएल के लोगों से कहो, ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं अपने पवित्र स्थान को अपवित्र करने ही वाला हूं—वह दृढ़ गढ़, जिस पर घमंड करते हो, तुम्हारे आंखों की खुशी, तुम्हारे स्नेह का पात्र. तुम्हारे बेटे और बेटियां, जो तुम्हारे पीछे रह जाएंगे, वे तलवार से मारे जाएंगे.
Speak to the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I will profane my sanctuary, the glory of your realm, and the thing that your eyes desire, and for which your soul feareth: your sons, and your daughters, whom you have left, shall fall by the sword.
22 और तुम वैसा ही करोगे, जैसा मैंने किया है. तुम अपने दाढ़ी और मूंछ को नहीं ढंकोगे या शोक करनेवालों की प्रथा अनुसार होनेवाला भोजन नहीं खाओगे.
And you shall do as I have done: you shall not cover your faces, nor shall you eat the meat of mourners.
23 तुम अपने सिर पर अपनी पगड़ी रखोगे और अपने पांवों में अपनी जूतियां पहनोगे. तुम न तो शोक मनाओगे और न ही रोओगे पर अपने पापों और अपने ही बीच कराहने के कारण, तुम बरबाद हो जाओगे.
You shall have crowns on your heads, and shoes on your feet: you shall not lament nor weep, but you shall pine away for your iniquities, and every one shall sigh with his brother.
24 यहेजकेल तुम्हारे लिए एक चिन्ह ठहरेगा; तुम वैसा ही करोगे, जैसा कि उसने किया है. जब ये बातें होंगी, तब तुम जानोगे कि मैं परम प्रधान याहवेह हूं.’
And Ezechiel shall be unto you for a sign of things to come: according to all that he hath done, so shall you do, when this shall come to pass: and you shall know that I am the Lord God.
25 “और हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, जिस दिन मैं उनके दृढ़ गढ़, उनका आनंद और महिमा, उनके आंखों की खुशी, उनके हृदय की इच्छा, और साथ ही साथ उनके बेटे और बेटियों को छीन लूंगा—
And thou, O son of man, behold in the day wherein I will take away from them their strength, and the joy of their glory, and the desire of their eyes, upon which their souls rest, their sons and their daughters.
26 उसी दिन बचकर भाग निकलने वाला एक व्यक्ति आकर तुम्हें वह समाचार देगा.
In that day when he that escapeth shall come to thee, to tell thee:
27 उस समय तुम्हारा मुंह खुलेगा; तुम उस व्यक्ति से बात करोगे और फिर चुप न रहोगे. इस प्रकार तुम उनके लिये एक चिन्ह ठहरोगे, और वे जानेंगे कि मैं याहवेह हूं.”
In that day, I say, shall thy mouth be opened to him that hath escaped, and thou shalt speak, and shalt be silent no more: and thou shalt be unto them for a sign of things to come, and you shall know that I am the Lord.
