1 याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:

And the word of the Lord was maad to me,

2 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, दो स्त्रियां थी, जो एक ही मां की बेटियां थी.

and he seide, Thou, sone of man, twei wymmen weren the douytris of o modir, and diden fornycacioun in Egipt;

3 वे मिस्र देश में वेश्या बन गईं और वे अपनी जवानी के दिनों से वेश्यावृत्ति करती थी. उसी देश में उनके स्तनों से दुलार किया गया और उनके कुंवारी छाती से लाड़ किया गया.

in her yonge wexynge age thei diden fornicacioun; there the brestis of hem weren maad low, and the tetis of the tyme of mariage of hem weren brokun.

4 बड़ी बहन का नाम ओहोलाह, और छोटी का नाम ओहोलीबाह था. वे मेरी थी और उन्होंने बेटे-बेटियों को जन्म दिया. ओहोलाह शमरिया है, और ओहोलीबाह येरूशलेम है.

Forsothe the names of hem ben, Oolla, the more sistir, and Ooliba the lesse sistir of hir. And Y hadde hem, and thei childiden sones and douytris; certis the names of hem ben Samarie Oolla, and Jerusalem Ooliba.

5 “जब ओहोलाह मेरी ही थी, तभी वह वेश्यावृत्ति करने लगी; वह अपने प्रेमियों के लिये लालायित रहती थी—जो नीले कपड़े पहने अश्शूरी योद्धा थे,

Therfor Oolla dide fornicacioun on me, and was wood on hir louyeris, on Assiriens neiyinge,

6 राज्यपाल और सेनापति थे, ये सबके सब सुंदर और जवान थे, और उसके प्रेमियों में घुड़सवार भी थे.

clothid with iacinct, princes, and magistratis, yonge men of coueytise, alle kniytis, and stieris of horsis.

7 उसने अपने आपको वेश्या के रूप में सबसे अच्छे अश्शूरियों को दे दिया और उन हर एक के मूर्तियों से अपने आपको अशुद्ध किया जिनके लिये वह लालायित रहती थी.

And sche yaf hir fornicaciouns on hem, on alle the chosun sones of Assiriens; and in alle on whiche sche was wood, sche was defoulid in the vnclennessis of hem.

8 जो वेश्यावृत्ति उसने मिस्र देश में शुरू की थी, उसे उसने नहीं छोड़ा, जब उसकी जवानी के समय पुरुष उसके साथ सोते थे, उसकी कुंवारी छाती को दुलारते थे और अपनी काम-वासना उस पर लुटाते थे.

Ferthermore and sche lefte not hir fornicaciouns, whiche sche hadde in Egipt; for whi and thei slepten with hir in the yongthe of hir, and thei braken the tetis of the tyme of mariage of hir, and thei scheden out her fornicacioun on hir.

9 “इसलिये मैंने उसे उसके प्रेमी अश्शूरियों के हाथ में सौंप दिया, जिनके लिये वह लालायित रहती थी.

Therfor Y yaf hir in to the hondis of hir louyeris, in to the hondis of the sones of Assur, on whos letcherie sche was wood.

10 उन्होंने उसे नंगी कर दिया, उसके बेटे और बेटियों को ले लिया और उसे तलवार से मार डाला. वह स्त्रियों के बीच एक कहावत बन गई और उसे दंड दिया गया.

Thei diskyueriden the schenschipe of hir; thei token awei the sones and the douytris of hir, and killiden hir with swerd; and the wymmen weren maad famouse, that is, sclaundrid, and thei diden domes in hir.

11 “उसकी बहन ओहोलीबाह यह सब देखी, फिर भी वह काम-वासना और वेश्यावृत्ति में अपनी बहन से कहीं अधिक भ्रष्‍ट थी.

And whanne hir sistir Ooliba hadde seyn this, sche was wood in letcherie more than that sistre, and yaf vnschamefastli hir fornicacioun on the fornicacioun of hir sistre,

12 वह भी अश्शूरियों के पीछे काम-वासना से आसक्त थी—जिसमें राज्यपाल और सेनापति, पोशाक पहने योद्धा, घुड़सवार और सब सुंदर पुरुष आते थे.

to the sones of Assiriens, to duykis and magistratis comynge to hir, that weren clothid with dyuerse cloth, to knyytis that weren borun on horsis, and to yonge men with noble schap, to alle men.

13 मैंने देखा कि उसने भी अपने आपको अशुद्ध कर लिया था; दोनों बहनों का चालचलन एक जैसा था.

And Y siy that o weie of both sistris was defoulid,

14 “पर ओहोलीबाह अपनी वेश्यावृत्ति में आगे थी. उसने एक दीवार पर आदमियों के चित्र को देखा, जिसमें बाबेलियों को लाल रंग में चित्रित किया गया था;

and sche encreesside hir fornycaciouns. And whanne sche hadde seyn men peyntid in the wal, the ymagis of Caldeis expressid with colouris,

15 चित्र में आदमियों के कमर में पट्टा बंधा था और उनके सिरों पर लहराती पगड़ी थी; वे सबके सब बाबेल के निवासी, बाबेली रथ के अधिकारी जैसे लगते थे.

and gird on the reynes with kniytis girdlis, and cappis peyntid in the heedis of hem, the foormes of alle duykis, the licnesse of the sones of Babiloyne, and of the lond of Caldeis, in which thei weren borun;

16 वह उन्हें देखते ही, उनके प्रति काम-वासना से आसक्त हो गई और कसदिया में उनके दूत भेजी.

sche was wood on hem bi coueitise of hir iyen, and sche sente messangeris to hem in to Caldee.

17 तब बाबेली प्यार में हमबिस्तर होने के लिये उसके पास आये, और अपने काम-वासना में उसे अशुद्ध किया. उनके द्वारा अशुद्ध होने के बाद, वह घृणा में उनसे अलग हो गई.

And whanne the sones of Babiloyne weren comun to hir, to the bed of tetis, thei defouliden hir in her letcheries of virgyns; and sche was defoulid of hem, and the soule of hir was fillid of hem.

18 जब उसने खुलेआम वेश्यावृत्ति किया और अपने नंगी देह को दिखाया, तो मैं घृणा में उससे दूर हो गया, जैसा कि मैं उसकी बहन से दूर हो गया था.

Also sche made nakid hir fornicaciouns, and diskyuered hir schenschipe; and my soule yede awei fro hir, as my soule hadde go awei fro hir sistir.

19 फिर भी वह अपने दुराचार वृत्ति में और भी बढ़ती गई, अपने जवानी के दिनों को याद करते हुए जब वह मिस्र देश में एक वेश्या थी.

For sche multiplied hir fornicaciouns, and hadde mynde on the daies of hir yongthe, in whiche sche dide fornicacioun in the lond of Egipt.

20 वहां वह अपने यारों के पीछे काम-वासना के लिये लगी रहती थी, जिनके जननांग गधों के जननांग जैसे और उनका वीर्य-उत्सर्जन घोड़ों के समान होता था.

And sche was wood in letcherie on the liggyng bi of hem, whos fleischis ben as the fleischis of assis, and as the membris of horsis ben the membris of hem.

21 इस प्रकार तुम अपनी जवानी की कामुकता की लालसा करती थी, जब मिस्र में तुम्हारे छाती को दुलारा जाता था और तुम्हारे स्तन से लाड़ किया जाता था.

And thou visitidist the grete trespas of thi yongthe, whanne thi brestis weren maad low in Egipt, and the tetis of the tyme of thi mariage weren brokun.

22 “इसलिये हे ओहोलीबाह, परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: मैं तुम्हारे प्रेमियों को तुम्हारे विरुद्ध भड़काऊंगा, जिनसे तुम घृणा करते हुए दूर हो गई थी, और मैं उन्हें चारों ओर से तुम्हारे विरुद्ध लाऊंगा.

Therfor, thou Ooliba, the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal reise alle thi louyeris ayens thee, of whiche thi soule was fillid, and Y schal gadere hem ayens thee in cumpas;

23 बाबेलियों और सब कसदी, पेकोद, शोआ और कोआ के पुरुष, और उनके साथ सब अश्शूरी, सुंदर जवान, उनमें सबके सब राज्यपाल और सेनापति, रथ अधिकारी और उच्च पदस्थ व्यक्ति, सबके सब घोड़े पर सवार हैं.

the sones of Babiloyne, and alle Caldeis, noble and miyti men, and princes, alle the sones of Assiriens, and yonge men of noble foorme, duykis, and magistratis, alle princes of princes, and named stieris of horsis.

24 वे तुम्हारे विरुद्ध हथियार, रथ और चार पहिया गाड़ी लेकर लोगों की भीड़ के साथ आएंगे; वे चारों तरफ से छोटी और बड़ी ढाल के साथ सिर में टोप लगाकर तुम्हारे विरुद्ध मोर्चा बांधेंगे. मैं तुम्हें दंड के लिये उनके हाथ में सौंप दूंगा, और वे अपने स्तर के अनुसार उन्हें दंड देंगे.

And thei araied with chare and wheel schulen come on thee, the multitude of puplis schulen be armed with haburioun, and scheeld, and basynet, ayens thee on ech side; and Y schal yyue doom bifor hem, and thei schulen deme thee bi her domes.

25 मैं तुम पर अपना जलन भरा क्रोध दिखाऊंगा, और तुम्हारे प्रति उनका व्यवहार बहुत क्रोधपूर्ण होगा. वे तुम्हारी नाक और कान काट डालेंगे, और तुममें से जो बच जाएंगे, वे तलवार से मारे जाएंगे. वे तुम्हारे बेटे और बेटियों को ले लेंगे, और तुममें से जो बच जाएंगे, वे आग से जलकर नष्ट हो जाएंगे.

And Y schal sette my feruour in thee, which thei schulen vse with thee in woodnesse; thei schulen kitte awei thi nose and thin eeris, and thei schulen sle with swerd tho thingis that weren left; thei schulen take thi sones and thi douytris, and thi laste thing schal be deuourid bi fier.

26 वे तुमसे तुम्हारे कपड़े भी उतार लेंगे और तुम्हारे सुंदर गहने छीन लेंगे.

And thei schulen make thee nakid of thi clothis, and thei schulen take awei the vessels of thi glorie.

27 इस प्रकार मैं उस काम-वासना और वेश्यावृत्ति को बंद कर दूंगा, जिसे तुमने मिस्र देश में शुरू किया था. तुम इन चीज़ों की कामना नहीं करोगी या मिस्र देश को फिर याद नहीं करोगी.”

And Y schal make thi greet trespasse to reste fro thee, and thi fornicacioun fro the lond of Egipt; and thou schalt not reise thin iyen to hem, and thou schalt no more haue mynde on Egipt.

28 क्योंकि परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “मैं तुम्हें उन लोगों के हाथ में सौंपने ही वाला हूं, जिनसे तुम घृणा करती हो, उनके हाथ, जिनसे घृणा के कारण तुम दूर हो गई थी.

For the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal yyue thee in to the hondis of hem whiche thou hatist, `in to the hondis of hem of whiche thi soule was fillid,

29 वे तुम्हारे साथ घृणित व्यवहार करेंगे और तुम्हारी कमाई हुई सारी चीज़ें ले लेंगे. वे तुम्हें एकदम नंगी छोड़ देंगे, और तुम्हारी वेश्यावृत्ति की निर्लज्जता प्रगट हो जाएगी. तुम्हारी अश्लीलता और दुराचार वृत्ति के कारण

and thei schulen do with thee in hatrede. And thei schulen take awei alle thi trauels, and thei schulen leeue thee nakid, and ful of schenschipe; and the schenschipe of thi fornicaciouns schal be schewid. Thi greet

30 यह सब तुम पर हुआ है, क्योंकि तुम जाति-जाति के लोगों के पीछे काम-वासना के लिये भागी और उनकी मूर्तियों से तुमने अपने आपको अशुद्ध किया.

trespas and thi fornycaciouns han do these thingis to thee; for thou didist fornicacioun aftir hethene men, among whiche thou were defoulid in the idols of hem.

31 तुम अपनी बहन के रास्ते पर चली हो; इसलिये मैं उसका कटोरा तुम्हारे हाथ में दूंगा.”

Thou yedist in the weie of thi sister, and Y schal yyue the cuppe of hir in thin hond.

32 परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “तुम अपनी बहन के कटोरे को पीओगी, जो बड़ा और गहरा है; इसके कारण तुम तिरस्कार और हंसी का पात्र होंगी, क्योंकि इसमें बहुत कुछ समाता है.

The Lord God seith these thingis, Thou schalt drinke the cuppe of thi sistir, the depthe, and the broodnesse; thou that art most able to take, schalt be in to scornyng, and in to mouwyng.

33 तुम मतवालापन और दुःख से भर जाओगी, यह विनाश और निर्जनता का कटोरा है, यह तुम्हारी बहन शमरिया का कटोरा है.

Thou schalt be fillid with drunkenesse and sorewe, with the cuppe of mourenyng and of heuynesse, with the cuppe of thi sister Samarie.

34 तुम इसे पीकर खाली कर दोगी और इसके टुकड़ों को चबाओगी और अपने छातियों को घायल करोगी. यह मैंने कहा है, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.

And thou schalt drynke it, and thou schalt drinke of til to the drastis, and thou schalt deuoure the relifs therof, and thou schalt to-reende thi brestis, for Y the Lord spak, seith the Lord God.

35 “इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: जब तुमने मुझे भूला दिया है और मुझसे अपना मुंह फेर लिया है, तो ज़रूरी है कि तुम अपने अश्लीलता और वेश्यावृत्ति का फल भोगो.”

Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, For thou hast foryete me, and hast cast forth me bihynde thi bodi, bere thou also thi greet trespas and thi fornicaciouns.

36 याहवेह ने मुझसे कहा: “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, क्या तुम ओहोलाह और ओहोलीबाह का न्याय करोगे? तो फिर उनके घृणित काम उन्हें बताओ,

And the Lord God seide to me, and spak, Sone of man, whether thou demest Ooliba and Oolla, and tellist to hem the grete trespassis of hem?

37 क्योंकि उन्होंने व्यभिचार किया है और उनके हाथ खून से रंगे हैं. उन्होंने मूर्तियों के साथ व्यभिचार किया है; और तो और उन्होंने उन अपने बच्चों को उनके भोजन के रूप में बलिदान किया है, जो मेरे द्वारा ही पैदा हुए थे.

For thei diden auowtrie, and blood was in the hondis of hem, and thei diden fornicacioun with her idols; ferthermore and thei offriden to tho the sones whiche thei gendriden to me, for to be deuourid.

38 उन्होंने मेरे साथ यह भी किया है: उसी समय उन्होंने मेरे पवित्र स्थान को अशुद्ध किया है और मेरे विश्राम दिनों को अपवित्र किया है.

But also thei diden this to me, thei defouleden my seyntuarie in that dai, and maden vnhooli my sabatis.

39 जिस दिन उन्होंने अपने बच्चों को अपनी मूर्तियों के लिये बलिदान किया, उसी दिन उन्होंने मेरे पवित्र स्थान में प्रवेश किया और उसे अपवित्र किया. उन्होंने मेरे भवन के भीतर यही किया है.

And whanne thei sacrifisiden her sones to her idols, and entriden in to my seyntuarie in that dai, that thei schulden defoule it, thei diden also these thingis in the myddis of myn hous.

40 “और तो और उन्होंने दूत भेजकर बहुत दूर से लोगों को बुलवाया, और जब वे आ गये, तो तुम उनके लिये नहाई-धोई, अपने आंखों का श्रृंगार किया और अपने गहनों को पहना.

Thei senten to men comyng fro fer, to whiche thei hadden sent messangeris. Therfor lo! thei camen, to whiche thou waischidist thee, and anoyntidist thin iyen with oynement of wymmen, and thou were ourned with wymmens atier.

41 तब तुम एक सुंदर सोफा में बैठ गईं, जिसके सामने एक टेबल रखा था, जिस पर तुमने धूप और जैतून का तेल रखा था, जो कि मेरा था.

Thou satist in a ful fair bed, and a boord was ourned bifor thee; thou settidist myn encense and myn oynement on it.

42 “उसके चारों तरफ लापरवाह भीड़ का कोलाहल सुनाई दे रहा था; पियक्कड़ों को निर्जन प्रदेश से उपद्रवी लोगों के साथ लाया गया था, जो उस स्त्री और उसकी बहन के हाथों में कंगन और उनके सिर में सुंदर मुकुट पहना दिये थे.

And a vois of multitude makynge ful out ioye was ther ynne; and in men that weren brouyt of the multitude of men, and camen fro desert, thei settiden bies in the hondis of hem, and faire corouns on the heedis of hem.

43 तब मैंने उस स्त्री के बारे में कहा, जो व्यभिचार करते-करते बेहाल हो चुकी थी, ‘अब वे उसका उपयोग एक वेश्या के रूप में करें, क्योंकि वह वेश्या ही तो है.’

And Y seide to hir, that was defoulid in auoutries, Now also this schal do fornycacioun in hir fornicacioun.

44 और वे उसके साथ सोए. जैसे पुरुष एक वेश्या के साथ सोते हैं, वैसे ही वे उन कामुक स्त्रियों, ओहोलाह एवं ओहोलीबाह के साथ सोए.

And thei entriden to hir; as to a womman, an hoore, so thei entriden to Oolla and to Ooliba, cursid wymmen.

45 परंतु धर्मी न्यायाधीश उनको उन स्त्रियों का दंड देंगे, जो व्यभिचार करती और खून बहाती हैं, क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणी हैं और उनके हाथ खून से रंगे हैं.

Therfor these men ben iust, these schulen deme thilke wymmen bi the doom of auoutressis, and bi the doom of hem that scheden out blood; for thei ben auoutressis, and blood is in the hondis of hem, and thei diden fornicacioun with her idols.

46 “परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: उनके विरुद्ध एक बड़ी भीड़ ले आओ और उन्हें आतंकित होने और लूटे जाने के किए सौंप दो.

For the Lord God seith these thingis, Bringe thou multitudis to hem, and yyue thou hem in to noise, and in to raueyn;

47 उस भीड़ के लोग उन पर पत्थरवाह करेंगे और उन्हें अपने तलवार से काट डालेंगे; वे उनके बेटे-बेटियों को मार डालेंगे और उनके घरों को जला देंगे.

and be thei stoonyd with the stoonys of puplis, and be thei stikid togidere with the swerdis of hem. Thei schulen sle the sones and the douytris of hem, and thei schulen brenne with fier the housis of hem.

48 “इस प्रकार मैं इस देश से काम-वासना का अंत कर दूंगा, ताकि सब स्त्रियों के लिये यह एक चेतावनी हो और वे तुम्हारे समान काम न करें.

And Y schal do awei greet trespas fro the lond; and alle wymmen schulen lerne, that thei do not aftir the greet trespas of hem.

49 तुम्हें अपने कामुकता का दंड भोगना पड़ेगा और तुम्हें अपने मूर्तियों के पाप का फल भी भोगना पड़ेगा. तब तुम जानोगे कि मैं परम प्रधान याहवेह हूं.”

And thei schulen yyue youre grete trespas on you; and ye schulen bere the synnes of youre idols, and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord God.
