यहेजकेल 21
1 याहवेह का यह वचन मेरे पास आया:
And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, अपना चेहरा येरूशलेम के विरुद्ध करो और पवित्र स्थान के विरुद्ध प्रचार करो. इस्राएल देश के विरुद्ध भविष्यवाणी करो.
Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
3 और उस देश से कहो: ‘याहवेह का यह कहना है: हे इस्राएल, मैं तुम्हारे विरुद्ध हूं. मैं अपनी तलवार म्यान से निकालूंगा और तुममें से धर्मी और दुष्ट दोनों को मार डालूंगा.
And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
4 क्योंकि मैं धर्मी और दुष्ट दोनों को मार डालने वाला हूं, इसलिये मेरी तलवार दक्षिण से लेकर उत्तर तक सब मनुष्यों के विरुद्ध उठेगी.
Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth from its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
5 तब सब लोग जानेंगे मैं याहवेह ने म्यान से अपनी तलवार बाहर निकाली है; यह फिर म्यान में नहीं रखी जाएगी.’
That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn my sword out of its sheath: it shall not return any more.
6 “इसलिये हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, कराहो! टूटे हृदय और बड़े दुःखी होकर उनके सामने कराहो.
Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with breaking heart; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.
7 और जब वे तुमसे पूछें, ‘क्यों कराह रहे हो?’ तो तुम उनसे कहना, ‘उस समाचार के कारण, जो मुझे मिला है. हर एक का हृदय डर से भर जाएगा और हर एक का हाथ पंगु हो जाएगा; हर एक का मनोबल गिरेगा और हर एक के घुटने पानी के नाई कमजोर हो जाएंगे.’ यह होनेवाला है! यह निश्चय होगा, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.”
And it shall be, when they say to thee, Why sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
8 फिर याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:
Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, भविष्यवाणी करो और कहो, ‘याहवेह का यह कहना है: “‘एक तलवार, एक तलवार, धारदार और चमकाई हुई—
Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also polished:
10 हत्या करने के लिये धारदार, बिजली की तरह कौंधने के लिये चमकाई हुई! “‘क्या हम मेरे शाही पुत्र के राजदंड पर आनंदित हों? तलवार हर एक लाठी को तुच्छ समझती है.
It is sharpened to make a grievous slaughter; it is polished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it despiseth the rod of my son, as every tree.
11 “‘तलवार को चमकाने के लिये, और हाथ से पकड़ने के लिये दी गई है; इसे धारदार बनाया और चमकाया गया है, और हत्या करनेवाले के हाथ में दिये जाने के लिये तैयार है.
And he hath given it to be polished, that it may be handled: the sword is sharpened, and it is polished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
12 हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, रोओ और विलाप करो, क्योंकि यह मेरे लोगों के विरुद्ध है; यह इस्राएल के सब राजकुमारों के विरुद्ध है. उन्हें मेरे लोगों सहित तलवार के आगे कर दिया गया है. इसलिये अपनी छाती पीटो.
Cry and wail, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.
13 “‘जांचने का समय निश्चय आएगा. और यदि राजदंड, जिसे तलवार तुच्छ समझती है, न रहे, तब क्या होगा? परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है.’
Because it is a trial, and what if the sword despise even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.
14 “इसलिये तब, हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, भविष्यवाणी करो, और अपने हाथों को एक साथ पीटो. तलवार दो बार, वरन तीन बार चले. यह तलवार हत्या करने के लिये ही है, लोगों को सब तरफ से घेरकर यह तलवार घोर हत्या करने के लिए है.
Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their private chambers.
15 ताकि उनके हृदय डर से भर जाएं और बहुतेरे ज़मीन पर गिरें, मैंने उनके सब द्वारों पर हत्या के लिये तलवार ठहराई है. देखो! बिजली की तरह चोट करने के लिये यह जाल बुना गया है, इसका उपयोग हत्या करने के लिये होगा.
I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is sharpened for the slaughter.
16 हे तलवार, अपने दाहिने तरफ काट, तब अपने बायें तरफ, जिधर भी तुम्हारा धार मुड़ता है, उधर काट.
Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, wherever thy face is set.
17 मैं भी ताली बजाऊंगा, और मेरा कोप शांत हो जाएगा. मैं याहवेह ने यह कहा है.”
I will also smite my hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.
18 याहवेह का वचन मेरे पास आया:
The word of the LORD came to me again, saying,
19 “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, बाबेल के राजा की तलवार ले जाने के लिये दो मार्गों को चिन्हांकित करो, दोनों मार्ग एक ही देश से शुरू हों. जहां से मार्ग विभाजित होकर शहर की ओर जाता हैं, वहां एक मार्ग-सूचक लगाओ.
Also, thou son of man, mark two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both ways shall come forth from one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.
20 एक मार्ग को अम्मोनियों के रब्बाह के विरुद्ध तलवार के आने के लिये, और दूसरे मार्ग को यहूदिया और किलाबंदी किए हुए येरूशलेम के विरुद्ध चिन्हांकित करना.
Mark a way, that the sword may come to Rabbah of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.
21 क्योंकि बाबेल का राजा तिराहे पर अर्थात् दोनों मार्गों के मध्य संधि स्थल पर शकुन जानने के लिये रुकेगा: वह तीरों से साथ लाटरी डालेगा, वह अपनी मूर्तियों से सलाह लेगा, वह बलि किए हुए पशु के कलेजे को जांचेगा.
For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.
22 उसके दाहिने हाथ में येरूशलेम के लिये चिट्ठी निकलेगी कि कहां वह युद्ध उपकरण लगाए, हत्या करने की आज्ञा दे, युद्ध घोष करवाए, प्रवेश द्वारों के विरुद्ध युद्ध उपकरण लगवाए, आक्रमण के लिये एक ढलान बनाए और घेराबंदी का काम करवाए.
At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a siege mound, and to build a fort.
23 यह उनके लिये एक झूठा शकुन जान पड़ेगा, जिन्होंने उससे राजभक्ति की शपथ खाई है, पर वह उन्हें उनके अपराध याद दिलाएगा और उन्हें बंदी बनाकर ले जाएगा.
And it shall be to them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
24 “इसलिये परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: ‘इसलिये कि तुमने अपने किए गये सब पापों को प्रगट करके, अपने खुले विद्रोह के द्वारा अपने अपराधों को याद किया है—क्योंकि तुमने ऐसा किया है, इसलिये तुम्हें बंदी बना लिया जाएगा.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
25 “‘हे इस्राएल के अशुद्ध और दुष्ट राजकुमार, तुम्हारा दिन आ गया है, तुम्हें दंड देने का अंतिम समय आ गया है,
And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,
26 परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: अपनी पगड़ी उतार दो, मुकुट को हटा दो. जैसे स्थिति पहले थी, वैसे अब न रहेगी: नीचे दर्जे के लोग ऊंचे किए जाएंगे और जो ऊंचे दर्जे के हैं, वे नीचे किए जाएंगे.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27 विनाश! विनाश! मैं इसका विनाश कर दूंगा! मुकुट वापस नहीं दिया जाएगा, जब तक कि वह न आ जाए, जो इसका सही हकदार है; उसे मैं यह दे दूंगा.’
I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he cometh whose right it is; and I will give it him.
28 “और तुम, हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, भविष्यवाणी करो और कहो, ‘अम्मोनियों और उनकी बेइज्जती के बारे में परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “‘एक तलवार, एक तलवार, जो हत्या करने के लिये निकाली गई, नाश करने के लिए चमकाई गई है और उसकी चमक बिजली जैसी हो!
And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is polished, to consume because of the glittering:
29 तुम्हारे बारे में झूठे दर्शन और झूठे शकुन विचार के बावजूद, तलवार उन दुष्टों के गर्दन पर रखी जाएगी, जिनका वध किया जाना है, जिनका दिन आ गया है, जिन्हें दंड देने का अंतिम समय आ गया है.
While they see vanity to thee, while they divine a lie to thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.
30 “‘तलवार को फिर उसके म्यान में रखो. मैं तुम्हारा न्याय उस स्थान पर करूंगा, जहां तुम्हारी सृष्टि हुई, तुम्हारे पुरखों के देश में.
Shall I cause it to return into its sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.
31 मैं तुम पर अपना कोप उंडेलूंगा और मेरा भयंकर क्रोध तुम पर भड़केगा; मैं तुम्हें ऐसे क्रूर लोगों के हाथों में सौंप दूंगा, जो विनाश करने में निपुण हैं.
And I will pour out my indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of cruel men, and skilful to destroy.
32 तुम आग के लिए ईंधन होगे, तुम्हारा खून तुम्हारे ही देश में गिरेगा, तुम्हें फिर याद नहीं किया जाएगा; क्योंकि मैं, याहवेह ने कहा है.’”
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
