इफिसियों 5
1 परमेश्वर की प्रेम पात्र संतान होने के नाते, तुम परमेश्वर के पीछे चलनेवाले बनो.
Be, therefore, imitators of God, as beloved children;
2 तुम्हारा स्वभाव प्रेममय हो, जिस प्रकार मसीह ने तुमसे प्रेम किया है. वह हमारे लिए परमेश्वर के सामने स्वयं मनमोहक सुगंधित भेंट व बलि हो गए.
and walk in love, even as Christ has loved us, and has given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God, for a sweet smelling savor.
3 जैसा कि पवित्र लोगों के लिए सही है, तुम्हारे बीच व्यभिचारिता, किसी भी प्रकार की मलिनता और किसी भी प्रकार के लोभ का वर्णन तक न हो.
But whoredom, and all uncleanness, and inordinate desire-- let them not even be named among you; (as it becomes saints; )
4 और न ही तुम्हारे बीच निर्लज्जता और मूर्खता भरी बातचीत या अश्लील मज़ाक हो, जो हमेशा ही व्यर्थ है परंतु तुम्हारे बीच धन्यवाद ही सुना जाए.
nor obscenity, nor foolish talking, nor double meanings, nor things uncomely; but rather thanksgiving.
5 क्योंकि तुम यह अच्छी तरह से जानते हो कि किसी भी व्यभिचारी, मलिन तथा लोभी व्यक्ति का, जो मूर्तिपूजक ही है, मसीह और परमेश्वर के राज्य में मीरास नहीं है.
For this you know, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor lascivious man, who is an idolater, has inheritance in the kingdom of Christ, and of God.
6 कोई तुम्हें व्यर्थ की बातों के जाल में न फंसा पाए क्योंकि इन सबके कारण अनाज्ञाकारी व्यक्ति परमेश्वर के क्रोध के भागी होते हैं.
Let no one deceive you with vain speeches; for on account of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.
7 इसलिये उनके सहभागी न बनो.
Be not, therefore, participants with them.
8 इसके पहले तुम अंधकार थे, मगर अब प्रभु में ज्योति हो. इसलिये ज्योति की संतान की तरह स्वभाव करो.
For you were formerly darkness; but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
9 (क्योंकि ज्योति का फल सब प्रकार की धार्मिकता, सदाचार और सच में है)
(Now, the fruit of life consists in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth.)
10 यह डूंढ़ो कि हमारे किन कामों से प्रभु संतुष्ट होते हैं.
Approve what is well pleasing to the Lord.
11 अंधकार के निष्फल कामों में शामिल न हो परंतु उन्हें संकोच प्रकाश में लाओ.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
12 उन कामों की तो चर्चा करना भी लज्जास्पद है, जो अनाज्ञाकारियों द्वारा गुप्त में किए जाते हैं.
For the things which are secretly done by them, it is base even to mention.
13 ज्योति में आने पर सब कुछ प्रकट हो जाता है क्योंकि ज्योति ही है, जो सब कुछ प्रकट करती है.
But all these reprehensible things are made manifest by the light; for whatever makes manifest is light.
14 इस पर कहा गया है: “सोए हुए, जागो, मरे हुओं में से जी उठो, मसीह तुम पर ज्योति चमकाएंगे.”
Wherefore, it says, Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon you.
15 अपने स्वभाव के विषय में विशेष रूप से सावधान रहो. तुम्हारा स्वभाव मूर्खों सा न हो परंतु बुद्धिमानों सा हो,
See, then, that you walk accurately: not as fools, but as wise men;
16 समय का सदुपयोग करो, क्योंकि यह बुरे दिनों का समय है.
redeeming time, because the days are evil.
17 इसलिये निर्बुद्धि नहीं परंतु प्रभु की इच्छा के ज्ञान के लिए विवेक प्राप्त करो.
Therefore be not simpletons, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18 दाखरस से मतवाले न हो क्योंकि इससे भ्रष्टाचार पैदा होती है. परंतु, पवित्र आत्मा से भर जाओ,
And we not drunk with wine, by which comes dissoluteness; but be filled with the Spirit:
19 तब प्रभु के लिए आपस में सारे हृदय से तुम भजन, स्तुति गान व आत्मिक गीत गाते रहो,
speaking to one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord:
20 हर एक विषय के लिए हमेशा हमारे प्रभु येशु मसीह के नाम में पिता परमेश्वर के प्रति धन्यवाद देते रहो.
giving thanks at all times for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father.
21 मसीह में आदर के कारण एक दूसरे के प्रति समर्पित रहो.
Be subject to one another, in the fear of God.
22 पत्नी, अपने पति के अधीन उसी प्रकार रहे, जैसे प्रभु के.
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 क्योंकि पति उसी प्रकार अपनी पत्नी का सिर है, जिस प्रकार मसीह अपनी देह कलीसिया के सिर हैं, जिसके वह उद्धारकर्ता भी हैं.
For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the congregation; he is the saviour of the body.
24 जिस प्रकार कलीसिया मसीह के अधीन है, उसी प्रकार पत्नी हर एक विषय में पति के अधीन रहे.
Therefore, as the congregation is subject to Christ; so, also, let the wives be to their own husbands, in everything.
25 पति, अपनी पत्नी से, उसी प्रकार प्रेम करे जिस प्रकार मसीह ने कलीसिया से प्रेम किया और स्वयं को उसके लिए बलिदान कर दिया
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ, also, loved the congregation, and gave himself for it;
26 कि वह उसे वचन के स्नान के द्वारा पाप से शुद्ध कर अपने लिए अलग करे,
that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it with a bath of water, with the word.
27 कि उसे अपने लिए ऐसी तेजस्वी कलीसिया बनाकर पेश करें जिसमें न कोई कलंक, न कोई झुर्री, न ही इनके जैसा कोई दोष हो परंतु वह पवित्र व निष्कलंक हो.
That he might present it to himself glorious, a congregation not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it might be holy, and without blemish.
28 इसी प्रकार, पति के लिए उचित है कि वह अपनी पत्नी से वैसे ही प्रेम करे जैसे अपने शरीर से करता है. वह, जो अपनी पत्नी से प्रेम करता है, स्वयं से प्रेम करता. है
So ought husbands to love their own wives, as their own bodies: he who loves his own wife, loves himself.
29 क्योंकि कोई भी अपने शरीर से घृणा नहीं करता परंतु स्नेहपूर्वक उसका पोषण करता है, जिस प्रकार मसीह कलीसिया का करते हैं,
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the congregation:
30 “क्योंकि हम उनके शरीर के अंग हैं.
because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 इस कारण पुरुष अपने माता-पिता को छोड़कर अपनी पत्नी से मिला रहेगा तथा वे दोनों एक देह होंगे”
For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall adhere to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.
32 यह एक गहरा भेद है और मैं यह मसीह और कलीसिया के संदर्भ में उपयोग कर रहा हूं.
This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the congregation.
33 फिर भी, तुममें से हर एक अपनी पत्नी से अपने समान प्रेम करें और पत्नी अपने पति का सम्मान करे.
Therefore, also, let every one of you in particular, so love his own wife as himself; and let the wife reverence her husband.
