व्यवस्था विवरण 34
1 इसके बाद मोशेह मोआब के मैदानों से नेबो पर्वत पर चले गए, जो येरीख़ो के सामने पिसगाह की चोटी पर है. यहां याहवेह ने उनकी दृष्टि में उस पूरे देश को दिखा दिया; गिलआद से लेकर दान तक,
Moses [Drawn out] went up from the plains of Moab [From father] to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho [Fragrant, Moon]. Adonai showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan [He judged],
2 पूरा नफताली और एफ्राईम और मनश्शेह और सारा यहूदिया, पश्चिमी सागर तक,
and all Naphtali [My wrestling], and the land of Ephraim [Fruit] and Manasseh [Causing to forget], and all the land of Judah [Praised], to the western sea,
3 नेगेव और येरीख़ो की घाटी में मैदान, खजूर वृक्षों का नगर, ज़ोअर तक.
and the south, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho [Fragrant, Moon] the city of palm trees, to Zoar [Small].
4 तब याहवेह ने उनसे कहा, “यही है वह ज़मीन, जिसे देने की शपथ के साथ प्रतिज्ञा मैंने अब्राहाम, यित्सहाक और याकोब से यह कहते हुए की थी, ‘यह मैं तुम्हारे वंशजों को दे दूंगा.’ यह मैंने तुम्हें दिखाया है, मगर तुम खुद वहां नहीं जाओगे.”
Adonai said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter], saying, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.”
5 याहवेह के सेवक मोशेह की मृत्यु मोआब देश में हो गई; याहवेह की भविष्यवाणी के अनुसार.
So Moses [Drawn out] the servant of Adonai died there in the land of Moab [From father], according to Adonai’s word.
6 उन्हें मोआब देश की उस घाटी में बेथ-पिओर के सामने गाड़ दिया गया. आज तक किसी व्यक्ति को यह मालूम न हो सका कि मोशेह की कब्र किस स्थान पर है.
He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab [From father] opposite Beth Peor, but no man knows where his tomb is to this day.
7 हालांकि मोशेह की उम्र मृत्यु के समय एक सौ बीस साल की थी, न तो उनकी आंखें धुंधली हुई थीं और न ही उनके बल में कोई कमी आई थी.
Moses [Drawn out] was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone.
8 इस्राएल वंशज मोशेह के लिए मोआब के मैदानों में तीस दिन तक विलाप करते रहे. तीस दिन के बाद उनका मोशेह के लिए विलाप करना खत्म हुआ.
The children of Israel [God prevails] wept for Moses [Drawn out] in the plains of Moab [From father] thirty days, until the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses [Drawn out] were ended.
9 इस अवसर पर नून के पुत्र यहोशू बुद्धि की आत्मा से भरे हुए थे, क्योंकि मोशेह ने उन पर अपने हाथ रखे थे. इस्राएलियों द्वारा वह स्वीकार कर लिए गए, और वही करने लगे जैसा आदेश याहवेह द्वारा मोशेह को दिया गया था.
Joshua [Yah Salvation] the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses [Drawn out] had laid his hands on him. The children of Israel [God prevails] sh'ma ·heard obeyed· him, and did as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
10 इसके बाद इस्राएल में मोशेह के समान कोई भी भविष्यद्वक्ता नहीं हुआ, जिससे याहवेह की बातचीत आमने-सामने हुआ करती थी,
Since then, there has not arisen a prophet in Israel [God prevails] like Moses [Drawn out], whom Adonai knew face to face,
11 याहवेह ने उन्हें इसलिए चुना था कि मिस्र देश में फ़रोह, उसके सारे सेवकों और उसके सारे देश में चिन्ह और चमत्कार करें
in all the signs and the wonders, which Adonai sent him to do in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 और उस अपार शक्ति और भयंकर आतंक को प्रदर्शित करें, जो मोशेह ने सारी इस्राएल के सामने किए थे.
and in all the mighty hand, and in all the awesome deeds, which Moses [Drawn out] did in the sight of all Israel [God prevails].
