व्यवस्था विवरण 33

1 अपनी मृत्यु के पहले मोशेह ने, जो परमेश्वर के जन थे, इस्राएलियों को इन शब्दों में आशीर्वाद दिए.

And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death.

2 उन्होंने कहा: “याहवेह सीनायी से आ गए और सेईर से उन पर सूर्योदय के समान प्रकट हुए; पारान पर्वत से उन्होंने अपनी रोशनी बिखेरी, और वह दस हज़ार पवित्र प्राणियों के बीच में दिखाई दिए, उनके दाएं हाथ से उन पर बिजली कौंध गई.

And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them: he shone forth from mount Paran, and he came from among myriads of saints; from his right hand he gave a fiery law unto them.

3 वस्तुतः वह तो अपनी प्रजा से प्रेम ही करते हैं. याहवेह, आपके सभी पवित्र प्राणी आपके अधीन हैं, वे आपके चरणों में बैठ, आपकी आज्ञा स्वीकार करते हैं.

Yea, thou also lovedst the tribes; all their saints were in thy hand; and they, prostrate before thy feet, received thy words.

4 मोशेह से हमें व्यवस्था प्राप्‍त हुआ है, यह याकोब के वंशजों का खजाना है.

“The law which Moses commanded us, is the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.”

5 जब सारी प्रजा के प्रधान इकट्ठा हुए थे, जब इस्राएल के सारे गोत्र वहां थे, याहवेह यशुरून में शासक थे.

Thus became he king in Yeshurun, when the heads of the people were assembled, as one the tribes of Israel.

6 “रियूबेन जीवित रहे, उसकी मृत्यु न हो, और न ही उसके गोत्र की गिनती कम हो.”

May Reuben live, and not die; and may not his men be few.

7 यहूदाह के लिए मोशेह के वचन थे: “याहवेह, यहूदाह की विनती सुनिए, उसे अपने लोगों तक ले आइए. उसके हाथों को मजबूत कर दीजिए, आप ही उसके शत्रुओं के विरुद्ध उसकी सहायता बने रहें!”

And this is [the blessing] of Judah, and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let the power of his hands contend for him; and be thou a help to him from his adversaries.

8 लेवी के विषय में मोशेह के वचन थे, “याहवेह, आपका थुम्मीम और आपका उरीम आपके विश्वासयोग्य लोगों के अधिकार में बना रहे, जिसे आप मस्साह में परख चुके हैं, जिसके साथ आपने मेरिबाह जल के सोते पर वाद-विवाद किया था;

And of Levi he said, Thy Thummim and thy Urim are with thy holy man, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;

9 जिसने अपने पिता और अपनी माता के विषय में कहा था, ‘वे मेरे लिए कोई नहीं हैं.’ उसने अपने भाइयों को भी नहीं अपनाया, और न ही अपनी ही संतान को, क्योंकि वे आपके आदेश के पालक बने रहे, उन्होंने आपकी वाचा का सम्मान बनाए रखा.

Who said of his father and of his mother, I have not seen him; and who did not acknowledge his brothers, nor regarded his own children; for they observe thy word, and thy covenant they keep.

10 वे ही हैं, जो याकोब को आपके नियमों की शिक्षा देंगे, और इस्राएल को आपके विधान की. वे आपके सामने धूप जलाएंगे, और आपकी वेदी पर पूरी होमबलि भी.

They shall teach thy ordinances unto Jacob, and thy law unto Israel: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt-sacrifice upon thy altar.

11 याहवेह, उसकी संपदा को समृद्धि प्रदान कीजिए, उसके हाथों के परिश्रम को स्वीकार कीजिए; उसके शत्रुओं की कमर को चूर-चूर कर दीजिए, कि वे कभी उठ न सकें.”

Bless, O Lord, his substance, and receive favorably the work of his hands: crush the loins of those that rise up against him, and those that hate him, that they cannot rise again.

12 बिन्यामिन के विषय में मोशेह ने कहा: “याहवेह का प्रिय, यह गोत्र उनके द्वारा दी गई सुरक्षा में रहता रहे, याहवेह उसे हमेशा सुरक्षा प्रदान करते रहते हैं, मानो वे याहवेह के दोनों कांधों के बीच सुरक्षित हैं.”

And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord [is he], he shall dwell in safety by him: he will shield him all the day long, and between his shoulders will he dwell.

13 योसेफ़ के संबंध में मोशेह ने कहा: “याहवेह द्वारा उसका देश समृद्धि प्राप्‍त करता जाए, स्वर्ग की सर्वोत्तम वस्तुओं और ओस के द्वारा, और वह जल जो पृथ्वी की गहराई से उत्पन्‍न होता है;

And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, through the precious gift of heaven, through the dew, and through the deep that coucheth beneath,

14 सूर्य के प्रभाव से उत्पन्‍न उत्तम फल, और ऋतुओं में प्राप्‍त उत्तम उपज;

And through the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and through the precious things put forth by the moon,

15 सदा से प्रतिष्ठित पर्वतों से प्राप्‍त फल और सदा की पहाड़ियों से प्राप्‍त सर्वोत्तम वस्तुएं;

And through the best things of the ancient mountains, and through the precious things of the everlasting hills,

16 पृथ्वी की भरपूरी में से सर्वोत्तम वस्तुएं, और उनकी कृपादृष्टि, जो जलती हुई झाड़ी में प्रकट हुई. यह सब योसेफ़ के सिर पर उतर जाए, उसके सिर पर जो अपने भाइयों से अधिक यशस्वी हुआ.

And through the precious things of the earth and its fulness, and through the goodwill of him that dwelt in the thorn-bush: may this blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brothers.

17 उसका वैभव वैसा ही है, जैसा सांड़ के पहिलौठे का; उसके सींग जंगली सांड़ के सींगों समान हैं. इनके प्रयोग से वह राष्ट्रों को घायल करेगा, उन्हें एक ही समय पर पृथ्वी के छोर तक हकाल देगा. ये ही हैं एफ्राईम के दस हज़ार; यही हैं मनश्शेह के हज़ार.”

His first-born steer is adorned with glory, and his horns are like the horns of reem; with them shall he push nations together to the ends of the earth: and they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.

18 मोशेह के वचन ज़ेबुलून के लिए ये थे, “ज़ेबुलून, तुम्हारी यात्राएं तुम्हारे लिए खुशी का विषय बनी रहें. इस्साखार, तुम अपने शिविरों में ही उल्लास करते रहो.

And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.

19 वे लोगों को पर्वतों पर आमंत्रित करेंगे वहां वे उपयुक्त बलि चढ़ाएंगे; वे महासागर से उत्पन्‍न की भरपूरी के स्वामी होंगे, वे बालू में छुपे हुए खजाने प्राप्‍त करेंगे.”

They will call the tribes unto the mountain; there will they offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they will suck the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand.

20 गाद के लिए मोशेह ने कहा: “धन्य है गाद का विस्तार! गाद का जीवन सिंह के समान है, वह भुजा को फाड़ देता है और खोपड़ी को भी.

And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: like a lioness lieth he down, and teareth off the arm with the crown of the head.

21 उसने तो सबसे अच्छी भूमि अपने लिए चुन ली है, क्योंकि वही शासक के लिए तय अंश आरक्षित था; उसने गोत्रपिताओं के साथ आकर, इस्राएल के लिए याहवेह के नियमों और याहवेह के न्याय का पालन किया.”

And he provided the first part for himself, because there is the field of the law-giver, of the hidden; and he went forth at the head of the people: he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.

22 दान के विषय में मोशेह ने कहा: “दान तो सिंह का बच्चा है, जो बाशान से छलांग लगाता है.”

And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp, that leapeth forth from Bashan.

23 नफताली के लिए मोशेह के वचन थे: “नफताली, तुम याहवेह की दी हुई समृद्धि में उनकी कृपादृष्टि में संतुष्ट हो; तुम जाकर सागर और दक्षिण क्षेत्र पर अधिकार कर लो.”

And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord, take thou possession of the west and the south.

24 आशेर के लिए मोशेह ने कहा: “आशेर तो याकोब के अन्य पुत्रों से अधिक धन्य है; उसे उसके भाइयों की भी कृपादृष्टि प्राप्‍त हो. उसके पांव तेल में जा पड़े.

And of Asher he said, More than [all] the children be Asher blessed: he shall be the most favored of his brethren, and bathe his foot in oil.

25 तुम्हारे फाटकों पर लोहे और कांस्य की शलाकाएं होंगी, तुम्हारा बल उतना ही होगा, जितने होंगे उम्र के साल.

Iron and copper shall be thy bolts; and as thy [younger] days so shall thy old age be.

26 “कोई भी नहीं है यशुरून के परमेश्वर के तुल्य, जो तुम्हारी सहायता के लिए आकाशमंडल में और अपनी भव्यता में बादलों में आना-जाना करते हैं.

There is none like unto the God of Yeshurun, who rideth to help thee upon the heavens, and in his excellency upon the skies.

27 वह परमेश्वर, जो सनातन हैं, एक आसरा हैं, और उसके नीचे हैं वे भुजाएं, जो हमेशा के लिए हैं, याहवेह ने ही उस शत्रु को तुम्हारे सामने से खदेड़ दिया, और आदेश दिया, ‘नाश हो जाओ!’

Thy refuge is the eternal God, and here beneath, the everlasting arms; and he thrust out the enemy from before thee; and he said, Destroy.

28 इसलिये अब इस्राएल का रहना सुरक्षा में है; याकोब का स्रोत अब अलग हो गया है. अब वह उस देश में बस चुका है, जो अन्‍न और नए अंगूरों के रस से भरा एक देश है, उस पर तो आकाश भी ओस वृष्टि करता है.

And then dwelt Israel in safety, alone, the fountain of Jacob; in a land of corn and wine; also its heavens shall drop down dew.

29 इस्राएल! तुम धन्य हो, कौन है तुम्हारे समान, जिसे याहवेह ने ही मुक्त किया है? जो तुम्हारी सहायता की ढाल हैं, और तुम्हारे वैभव की तलवार! तब तुम्हारे सामने तुम्हारे शत्रु दुबक जाएंगे, तब तुम उनके पूजा स्थलों को रौंद डालोगे.”

Happy art thou, O Israel! who is like unto thee, O people, saved by the Lord, the Shield of thy help, and who is the Sword of thy excellency! and thy enemies shall fawn upon thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high-places.
