व्यवस्था विवरण 27

1 तब मोशेह और इस्राएल के पुरनियों ने प्रजा को ये आदेश दिए: “जो आदेश मैं आज तुम्हें दे रहा हूं, तुम्हें उन सभी का पालन करना है.

And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.

2 जब तुम याहवेह तुम्हारे परमेश्वर द्वारा प्रदान किए जा रहे उस देश में पदार्पण करने के उद्देश्य से यरदन नदी को पार करोगे, तुम बड़े आकार की चट्टानें लेकर उन पर चूना पोत कर वहां स्थापित कर दोगे,

And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:

3 और यरदन पार करने पर उन पर इन पूरे विधान को अंकित कर दोगे, कि तुम उस देश में प्रवेश कर सको, जो याहवेह, तुम्हारे परमेश्वर तुम्हें प्रदान कर रहे हैं, एक ऐसा देश, जहां दूध और शहद की बहुतायत है, ठीक जैसी प्रतिज्ञा याहवेह, तुम्हारे पूर्वजों के परमेश्वर ने की थी.

and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over; that thou mayest go in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath promised thee.

4 तब आगे यह होगा: तुम जब यरदन नदी पार कर चुको, तुम इन शिलाओं को एबल पर्वत पर स्थापित कर दोगे, जैसा आज तुम्हारे लिए मेरा आदेश है, तुम उन पर चूना पोत दोगे.

And it shall be, when ye are passed over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.

5 इसके अलावा, तुम वहां याहवेह, अपने परमेश्वर के लिए पत्थरों की वेदी का निर्माण करोगे. इन पत्थरों पर किसी लोहे के उपकरण का प्रयोग न किया जाए.

And there shalt thou build an altar unto Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt lift up no iron [tool] upon them.

6 याहवेह, अपने परमेश्वर के लिए, जो वेदी बनाओगे, वह काटे हुए पत्थरों से बनाई जाए. इसी पर तुम याहवेह अपने परमेश्वर के लिए होमबलि भेंट करोगे.

Thou shalt build the altar of Jehovah thy God of unhewn stones; and thou shalt offer burnt-offerings thereon unto Jehovah thy God:

7 तुम मेल बलि अर्पित करोगे और भोजन वहीं करोगे और वहीं याहवेह अपने परमेश्वर के सामने उल्लास मनाओगे.

and thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there; and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God.

8 तुम उन शिलाओं पर इस विधि का हर एक शब्द बहुत स्पष्ट रूप से लिख दोगे.”

And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

9 तब मोशेह के साथ समस्त लेवी पुरोहितों ने इकट्ठा हो सारे इस्राएल राष्ट्र से कहा, “शांत हो सारी इस्राएल, तुम ध्यान से यह सुनो. आज तुम याहवेह, अपने परमेश्वर के लिए एक राष्ट्र हो चुके हो.

And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Keep silence, and hearken, O Israel: This day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God.

10 तब तुम याहवेह अपने परमेश्वर का आज्ञापालन करोगे, उनके आदेशों का और नियमों का पालन करोगे, जो आज मैं तुम्हारे सामने प्रस्तुत कर रहा हूं.”

Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

11 उसी दिन मोशेह ने प्रजा को ये आदेश दिए:

And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,

12 जब तुम यरदन नदी को पार करोगे, गेरिज़िम पर्वत पर खड़े होकर लोगों के लिए आशीर्वाद देने के लिए तय व्यक्ति इन गोत्रों से होंगे: शिमओन, लेवी, यहूदाह, इस्साखार, योसेफ़ और बिन्यामिन.

These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.

13 शाप उच्चारण के लिए एबल पर्वत पर खड़े व्यक्ति इन गोत्रों से होंगे: रियूबेन, गाद, आशेर, ज़ेबुलून, दान और नफताली.

And these shall stand upon mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

14 तब लेवीगोत्रज समस्त इस्राएल के सामने उच्च स्वर में यह घोषणा करेंगे:

And the Levites shall answer, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,

15 “शापित है वह व्यक्ति जो, याहवेह के सामने घृणित मूर्ति, ढाली हुई मूर्ति का निर्माण करता है, जो शिल्पी की कलाकृति-मात्र ही होती है और उसे गुप्‍त स्थान में प्रतिष्ठित कर देता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

16 “शापित है वह, जो अपने माता-पिता को सम्मान नहीं देता.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

17 “शापित है वह, जो अपने पड़ोसी की सीमा के चिन्हों को बदल देता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

18 “शापित है वह, जो किसी अंधे को मार्ग से भटकाता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

19 “शापित है वह, जो किसी विदेशी, अनाथ और विधवा के लिए योजनायुक्त न्याय को बिगाड़ देता है.” तब सारी सभा इसके उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that wresteth the justice [due] to the sojourner, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

20 “शापित है वह, जो अपने पिता की पत्नी के साथ संबंध बनाता है, उसने अपने पिता को लज्जित किया है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife, because he hath uncovered his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

21 “शापित है वह, जो किसी भी पशु के साथ संबंध बनाता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.

22 “शापित है वह, जो अपनी सौतेली बहन के साथ संबंध बनाता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

23 “शापित है वह, जो अपनी सास के साथ संबंध बनाता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, Amen.

24 “शापित है वह, जो अपने पड़ोसी को एकांत में पाकर उस पर प्रहार कर देता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor in secret. And all the people shall say, Amen.

25 “शापित है वह, जो किसी निर्दोष व्यक्ति की हत्या के उद्देश्य से घूस लेता है.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that taketh a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

26 “शापित है वह, जो इस विधान संहिता का पालन करने के द्वारा इनकी पुष्टि नहीं करता.” तब सारी सभा उत्तर में कहेगी, “आमेन!”

Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
