दानिय्येल 12

1 “उस समय मिखाएल, महान राजकुमार का उदय होगा, जो तुम्हारे लोगों की रक्षा करता है. तब ऐसी विपत्ति का समय होगा, जैसे जनताओं के उत्पन्‍न होने से लेकर अब तक कभी हुआ न होगा. पर उस समय तुम्हारे लोगों में से हर वह व्यक्ति बचाया जाएगा, जिसका नाम पुस्तक में लिखा हुआ पाया जाएगा.

"At that time shall Michael arise, the great prince who watches over the children of your people. And there shall be a time of distress unparalleled since the beginning of the nation until that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book.

2 मरे हुए लोगों के समूह जो भूमि में दफनाए गये हैं, वे जी उठेंगे: कुछ तो अनंत जीवन के लिये, तथा अन्य लज्जा और अनंत अपमान के लिये.

Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 जो बुद्धिमान हैं, वे आकाश के ज्योति के समान चमकेंगे, और जो बहुतों को धर्मीपन की ओर ले जाते हैं, वे तारों के समान सर्वदा चमकते रहेंगे.

And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

4 परंतु हे दानिएल, तुम अंत समय के आते तक इस पुस्तक की बातों पर मुहर लगाकर इसे बंद रखो. बहुत से लोग ज्ञान बढ़ाने के लिये इधर-उधर जाएंगे.”

But you, Daniel, close up these words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall roam here and there, and knowledge shall increase."

5 तब मैं, दानिएल ने देखा कि वहां दो और व्यक्ति खड़े थे, एक नदी के इस किनारे पर और एक नदी के उस किनारे पर.

Then I, Daniel, looked, and look, two others stood, one on this bank of the river, and one on the other bank of the river.

6 उनमें से एक ने मलमल कपड़े पहने उस व्यक्ति से कहा, जो नदी के पानी के ऊपर था, “इसके पहले कि ये अचंभित करनेवाली बातें पूरी हों, और कितना समय लगेगा?”

And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall it be till these wonders take place?"

7 वह व्यक्ति जो मलमल के कपड़े पहना था और नदी के दानी के ऊपर था, उसने अपना दहिना हाथ और अपना बायां हाथ आकाश की ओर उठाया और मैंने सुना कि वह सदा जीवित रहनेवाले की शपथ खाकर यह कह रहा था, “यह एक समय, समयों और आधे समय के लिये होगा. जब आखिर में पवित्र लोगों की शक्ति खत्म कर दी जाएगी, तब ये सारी बातें पूरी हो जाएंगी.”

I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 मैंने ये बातें सुनी, पर न समझा. इसलिये मैंने पूछा, “हे मेरे प्रभु, इन सब बातों का परिणाम क्या होगा?”

And I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?"

9 उसने उत्तर दिया, “हे दानिएल, तुम जाओ, क्योंकि अंत समय आने तक के लिए इन बातों पर मुहर लगाकर इन्हें बंद कर दिया गया है.

And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

10 बहुत से लोग शुद्ध, दाग रहित और स्वच्छ किए जाएंगे; किंतु वे जो दुष्ट हैं, वे दुष्टता ही करते रहेंगे. दुष्टों में से कोई भी ये बातें न समझेगा, परंतु जो बुद्धिमान हैं, वे समझेंगे.

Many shall be purified, cleansed and refined; but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.

11 “जब से प्रतिदिन का बलिदान बंद कर दिया जाएगा और उजाड़नेवाली घृणित वस्तु स्थापित की जाएगी, तब से 1,290 दिनों का समय होगा.

From the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days.

12 धन्य है वह, जो इंतजार करता है और 1,335 दिनों के अंत तक पहुंचता है.

Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.

13 “जहां तक तुम्हारा सवाल है, तुम अंत के आने तक जाओ. तुम विश्राम करोगे, और उन दिनों के अंत में, तुम अपना निर्धारित उत्तराधिकार पाने के लिए खड़े होगे.”

But go your way until the end. For you shall rest, and shall rise to receive your reward at the end of the days.
