कुलुस्सियों 3
1 इसलिये जब तुम मसीह के साथ नवजीवन में जिलाए गए हो तो उन वस्तुओं की खोज में रहो, जो ऊंचे पर विराजमान हैं, जहां मसीह परमेश्वर की दायीं ओर बैठे हैं.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God.
2 अपना चित्त ऊपर की वस्तुओं में लीन रखो—उन वस्तुओं में नहीं, जो शारीरिक हैं.
Mind the things above, not those on the earth.
3 क्योंकि तुम्हारी मृत्यु हो चुकी है तथा तुम्हारा जीवन मसीह के साथ परमेश्वर में छिपा हुआ है.
For ye are dead as to the world, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 जब मसीह, जो हमारा जीवन हैं, प्रकट होंगे, तब तुम भी उनके साथ महिमा में प्रकट होगे.
When Christ, who is your life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.
5 इसलिये अपनी पृथ्वी की देह के अंगों को—वेश्यागामी, अशुद्धता, दुष्कामना, लालसा तथा लोभ को, जो वास्तव में मूर्ति पूजा ही है—मार दो
Mortify therefore your members that are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, disorderly passion, evil concupiscence, and insatiable desire, which is indeed idolatry:
6 क्योंकि इन्हीं के कारण परमेश्वर का क्रोध भड़क उठता है.
for which things the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.
7 एक समय तुम्हारा जीवन भी इन्हीं में लीन था.
In which ye also formerly walked, when ye lived among them.
8 किंतु अब तुम सभी क्रोध, रोष, बैरभाव, निंदा तथा गंदी भाषा का भी त्याग कर दो.
But now put away all these also, wrath, animosity, malice, calumny, and filthy discourse out of your mouth.
9 एक दूसरे से झूठ मत बोलो क्योंकि तुम पुराने स्वभाव को उसके कामों सहित उतार चुके
Lie not one to another, seeing ye have put off the old man with his evil practices;
10 और अब तुमने नए स्वभाव को धारण कर लिया है. यह स्वभाव अपने सृष्टिकर्ता की छवि के अनुसार वास्तविक ज्ञान के लिए नया होता जाता है.
and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of Him that created him.
11 परिणामस्वरूप अब यूनानी या यहूदी, ख़तनित या ख़तना रहित, बरबर या स्कूती, दास या मुक्त में कोई भेद नहीं है, मसीह ही सब कुछ और सब में मुख्य हैं.
Wherein there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free: but Christ is all and in all.
12 इसलिये परमेश्वर के चुने हुए, पवित्र लोगों तथा प्रिय पात्रों के समान अपने हृदयों में करुणा, भलाई, विनम्रता, दीनता तथा धीरज धारण कर लो.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God holy and beloved, bowels of mercy, benignity, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering;
13 आपस में सहनशीलता और क्षमा करने का भाव बना रहे. यदि किसी को किसी अन्य के प्रति शिकायत हो, वह उसे उसी प्रकार क्षमा करे जैसे प्रभु ने तुम्हें क्षमा किया है
bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any one has a complaint against any: even as Christ hath forgiven you, so also do ye.
14 और इन सबसे बढ़कर प्रेम भाव बनाए रखो, जो एकता का समूचा सूत्र है.
And above all these put on love, which is the band of perfection.
15 तुम्हारे हृदय में मसीह की शांति राज्य करे—वस्तुतः एक शरीर में तुम्हें इसी के लिए बुलाया गया है. हमेशा धन्यवादी बने रहो.
And let the peace of God preside in your hearts, to which ye are also called as united in one body: and be thankful for it.
16 तुममें मसीह के वचन को अपने हृदय में पूरी अधिकाई से बसने दो. एक दूसरे को सिद्ध ज्ञान में शिक्षा तथा चेतावनी दो और परमेश्वर के प्रति हार्दिक धन्यवाद के साथ स्तुति, भजन तथा आत्मिक गीत गाओ
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another by psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude singing in your hearts to the Lord.
17 तथा वचन और काम में जो कुछ करो, वह सब प्रभु येशु मसीह के नाम में पिता परमेश्वर का आभार मानते हुए करो.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to our God and Father by Him.
18 जैसा उनके लिए उचित है, जो प्रभु में हैं, पत्नी अपने पति के अधीन रहे.
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as becometh you in the Lord:
19 पति अपनी पत्नी से प्रेम करे—उसके प्रति कठोर न हो.
and ye husbands, love your wives, and be not embittered against them.
20 बालक हमेशा अपने माता-पिता की आज्ञापालन करें क्योंकि प्रभु के लिए यही प्रसन्नता है.
Children, obey your parents in all things; for this is well-pleasing to the Lord:
21 पिता अपनी संतान को असंतुष्ट न करे कि उनका साहस टूट जाए.
and ye fathers, do not irritate your children, least they be discouraged.
22 दास, पृथ्वी पर ठहराए गए अपने स्वामियों की हमेशा आज्ञापालन करें—मात्र दिखावे के लिए नहीं—उनके जैसे नहीं, जो मनुष्यों को प्रसन्न करने के लिए ऐसा करते हैं, परंतु प्रभु के भय में मन की सच्चाई में.
Servants, be obedient in all things to your lawful masters, not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but in uprightness of heart, fearing God; and whatever service ye do,
23 तुम जो कुछ करते हो, पूरे मन से करो, मानो प्रभु के लिए, न कि मनुष्यों के लिए
do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;
24 यह जानते हुए कि प्रभु से तुम्हें इसके फल के रूप में मीरास प्राप्त होगी. तुम प्रभु मसीह की सेवा कर रहे हो.
knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ;
25 वह जो बुरा काम करता है, उसे परिणाम भी बुरा ही प्राप्त होगा, बिना किसी भेद-भाव के.
but he that doth unjustly, shall receive for what wrong he hath done; and there is no respect of persons with God:
