2 तीमुथियुस 1

1 पौलॉस की ओर से, जो मसीह येशु में उस जीवन की प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार, परमेश्वर की इच्छा के द्वारा मसीह येशु का प्रेरित है,

Paul, an apostle of Yahushua the Messiah by the will of YHWH, according to the promise of life which is in Yahushua the Messiah,

2 प्रिय पुत्र तिमोथियॉस को: हमारे पिता परमेश्वर और मसीह येशु, हमारे प्रभु की ओर से अनुग्रह, कृपा और शांति मिले.

To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Favour, mercy, and peace, from YHWH the Father and Yahushua the Messiah our Master.

3 मैं रात-दिन अपनी प्रार्थनाओं में तुम्हें याद करते हुए परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद देता हूं, जिनकी सेवा मैं शुद्ध विवेक से उसी प्रकार करता हूं, जैसे मेरे पूर्वज करते थे.

I thank YHWH, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

4 तुम्हारे आंसुओं को याद करते हुए, मुझे तुमसे मिलने की लालसा होती है कि मेरा आनंद पूरा हो जाए.

Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

5 मुझे तुम्हारा निष्कपट विश्वास याद आता है, जो सबसे पहले तुम्हारी नानी लोइस तथा तुम्हारी माता यूनिके में मौजूद था, और जो निश्चित ही तुममें भी मौजूद है.

When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

6 यही कारण है कि मैं तुम्हें याद दिला रहा हूं कि परमेश्वर द्वारा दी गई उस क्षमता को पुनर-ज्वलित करो, जो तुम पर मेरे हाथ रखने के द्वारा तुममें थी.

Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of YHWH, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

7 यह इसलिये कि परमेश्वर ने हमें भय का नहीं परंतु सामर्थ्य, प्रेम तथा आत्म-अनुशासन का मन दिया है.

For YHWH hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

8 इसलिये न तो हमारे प्रभु के विषय में गवाही देने में और न मुझसे, जो उनके लिए बंदी हूं, लज्जित होना परंतु परमेश्वर द्वारा दी गई सामर्थ्य के अनुसार ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के लिए कष्ट उठाने में मेरे साथ शामिल हो जाओ.

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Master, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the evangel according to the power of YHWH;

9 परमेश्वर ने ही हमें उद्धार प्रदान किया तथा पवित्र जीवन के लिए हमें बुलाया है—हमारे कामों के आधार पर नहीं परंतु सनातन काल से मसीह येशु में हमारे लिए आरक्षित अपने ही उद्देश्य तथा अनुग्रह के अंतर्गत. (aiōnios g166)

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and Favour, which was given us in Yahushua the Messiah before the world began, (aiōnios g166)

10 इस अनुग्रह की अभिव्यक्ति अब हमारे उद्धारकर्ता मसीह येशु के प्रकट होने के द्वारा हुई है, जिन्होंने एक ओर तो मृत्यु को नष्ट किया तथा दूसरी ओर ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के द्वारा जीवन तथा अमरता को प्रकाशित किया.

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Yahushua the Messiah, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the glad tidings:

11 इसी ईश्वरीय सुसमाचार के लिए मैं प्रचारक, प्रेरित तथा शिक्षक चुना गया.

Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

12 यही कारण है कि मैं ये यातनाएं भी सह रहा हूं किंतु यह मेरे लिए लज्जास्पद नहीं है क्योंकि मैं जानता हूं कि मैंने किन में विश्वास किया है तथा मुझे यह पूरा निश्चय है कि वह उस दिन तक मेरी धरोहर की रक्षा करने में पूरी तरह सामर्थ्यी हैं.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

13 जो सच्ची शिक्षा तुमने मुझसे प्राप्‍त की है, उसे उस विश्वास और प्रेम में, जो मसीह येशु में बसा है, अपना आदर्श बनाए रखो.

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Yahushua the Messiah.

14 पवित्र आत्मा के द्वारा, जिनका हमारे भीतर वास है, उस अनुपम धरोहर की रक्षा करो.

That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Spirit which dwelleth in us.

15 तुम्हें यह मालूम ही है कि आसिया प्रदेश के सभी विश्वासी मुझसे दूर हो गए हैं, उनमें फ़िगेलस तथा हरमोगेनेस भी हैं.

This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

16 ओनेसिफ़ोरस के परिवार पर प्रभु कृपा करें. उसने अक्सर मुझमें नई स्फूर्ति का संचार किया है. मेरी बेड़ियां उसके लिए लज्जा का विषय नहीं थी.

YHWH give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

17 जब वह रोम नगर में था, उसने यत्नपूर्वक मुझे खोजा और मुझसे भेंट की.

But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.

18 इफ़ेसॉस नगर में की गई उसकी सेवाओं से तुम भली-भांति परिचित हो. प्रभु करें कि उस दिन उसे प्रभु की कृपा प्राप्‍त हो!

YHWH grant unto him that he may find mercy in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
