2 राजा 21

1 शासन शुरू करते समय मनश्शेह की उम्र बारह साल थी. येरूशलेम में उसने पचपन साल शासन किया. उसकी माता का नाम हेपज़िबाह था.

Manasseh was twelue yeere olde when he began to reigne, and reigned fiftie and fiue yeere in Ierusalem: his mothers name also was Hephzi-bah.

2 उसने वही किया, जो याहवेह की दृष्टि में गलत था; वही सभी जो उन जनताओं के समान घृणित था, जिन्हें याहवेह ने इस्राएल के सामने से निकाल दिया था.

And he did euill in the sight of the Lord after the abomination of the heathen, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.

3 उसने उन पूजा स्थलों को दोबारा बनवाया, जिन्हें उसके पिता हिज़किय्याह ने गिरा दिया था. उसने देवता बाल की वेदियां दोबारा बनवाई और अशेराह के खंभे को दोबारा ठीक करा दिया; ठीक जिस प्रकार इस्राएल के राजा अहाब ने किया था. वह भी आकाशमंडल के सारे नक्षत्रों की सेवा-उपासना करता था.

For he went backe and built the hie places, which Hezekiah his father had destroyed: and he erected vp altars for Baal, and made a groue, as did Ahab King of Israel, and worshipped all the hoste of heauen and serued them.

4 उसने याहवेह के उसी भवन में अनेक वेदियां बनवा दीं, जिस भवन के बारे में याहवेह कह चुके थे, “येरूशलेम में मैं अपने नाम को स्थापित करूंगा.”

Also he built altars in the house of the Lord, of the which the Lord saide, In Ierusalem will I put my Name.

5 उसने याहवेह के ही भवन के दो आंगनों में आकाशमंडल के सारे नक्षत्रों के लिए वेदियां बनवाई.

And he built altars for al the hoste of ye heauen in the two courtes of the house of the Lord.

6 उसने अपने पुत्र की होमबलि दे दी. वह मोहिनी, शकुन विचारने और प्रेतसिद्धि को मानने लगा. याहवेह की दृष्टि में घोर बुराई कर उसने याहवेह के क्रोध को उकसा दिया.

And he caused his sonnes to passe through the fire, and gaue him selfe to witchcraft and sorcerie, and he vsed them that had familiar spirits and were soothsayers, and did much euill in the sight of the Lord to anger him.

7 उसने अशेरा देवी की ढाली गई मूर्ति की प्रतिष्ठा उस भवन में कर दी, जिसके विषय में याहवेह ने दावीद और उनके पुत्र शलोमोन से यह कहा था, “मैं इस भवन में और येरूशलेम नगर में, जिसे मैंने इस्राएल के सारी गोत्रों में से चुन लिया है, हमेशा के लिए अपना नाम स्थापित करूंगा.

And he set the image of the groue, that he had made, in the house, whereof ye Lord had saide to Dauid and to Salomon his sonne, In this house and in Ierusalem, which I haue chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my Name for euer.

8 इसके अलावा मैं इस्राएल के चरणों को इस देश से, जिसे मैंने उनकी संतानों के लिए दिया है, बाहर भटकाने न दूंगा; यदि वे सावधानीपूर्वक सिर्फ वह करें, जिसका मैंने उन्हें आदेश दिया है, और जिस व्यवस्था का आदेश मेरे सेवक मोशेह द्वारा उन्हें दिया गया.”

Neither will I make the feete of Israel, mooue any more out of the lande, which I gaue their fathers: so that they will obserue and doe all that I haue commanded them, and according to all the Lawe that my seruant Moses commanded them.

9 मगर उन्होंने इसको नहीं माना. मनश्शेह ने उन्हें बुराई करने के लिए इस हद्द तक भटका दिया, जितना उन जनताओं ने तक न किया था, जिन्हें याहवेह ने इस्राएल प्रजा के सामने से नाश किया था.

Yet they obeyed not, but Manasseh ledde them out of the way, to doe more wickedly then did the heathen people, whom the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.

10 तब याहवेह ने अपने सेवक, भविष्यवक्ताओं के द्वारा यह संदेश भेजा:

Therefore the Lord spake by his seruants the Prophets, saying,

11 “इसलिये कि यहूदिया के राजा मनश्शेह ने ऐसे घृणित काम किए हैं; अपने पहले इस देश में रहते हुए अमोरियों द्वारा किए गए सभी कामों से अधिक घृणित, और अपनी मूर्तियों के लिए यहूदिया को भी वही करने के लिए मजबूर किया.

Because that Manasseh King of Iudah hath done such abominations, and hath wrought more wickedly then al that the Amorites (which were before him) did, and hath made Iudah sinne also with his idoles,

12 इसलिए याहवेह, इस्राएल के परमेश्वर का यह संदेश है: देख लेना, मैं येरूशलेम और यहूदिया पर ऐसी मुसीबत ला रहा हूं, कि जो कोई इसके बारे में सुनेगा, उसके दोनों ही कान झनझना जाएंगे.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Beholde, I will bring an euill vpon Ierusalem and Iudah, that who so heareth of it, both his eares shall tingle.

13 मैं येरूशलेम के ऊपर शमरिया के समान माप की डोरी, और अहाब के वंश के समान साहुल का उपयोग करूंगा. मैं येरूशलेम को ऐसे पोंछ दूंगा जैसे बर्तन को पोंछा जाता है, इसे पोंछकर मैं उसे उलट रख दूंगा.

And I will stretch ouer Ierusalem the line of Samaria, and the plommet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Ierusalem, as a man wipeth a dish, which he wipeth, and turneth it vpside downe.

14 मैं अपनी मीरास के बचे हुए भाग का त्याग कर दूंगा, और उन्हें उनके शत्रुओं के हाथों में सौंप दूंगा. वे उनके सभी शत्रुओं द्वारा लूटे, और लूटा हुआ सामान हो जाएंगे;

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliuer them into the hande of their enemies, and they shalbe robbed and spoyled of all their aduersaries,

15 क्योंकि उन्होंने वही किया है, जो जो मेरी दृष्टि में बुरा है, और इससे उन्होंने मेरे गुस्से को भड़काया है. ऐसा वे उसी समय से, जब उनके पूर्वज मिस्र देश से बाहर निकल आए थे, आज तक करते आ रहे हैं.”

Because they haue done euil in my sight, and haue prouoked mee to anger, since the time their fathers came out of Egypt vntill this day.

16 उस पाप के अलावा जो उसने यहूदिया को वह करने के लिए उकसाया, जो याहवेह की दृष्टि में गलत था, मनश्शेह ने अनगिनत निर्दोषों का बहुत लहू बहाया, कि येरूशलेम एक छोर से दूसरे छोर तक लहूलुहान हो गया.

Moreouer Manasseh shed innocent blood exceeding much, till hee replenished Ierusalem from corner to corner, beside his sinne wherwith he made Iudah to sinne, and to doe euill in the sight of the Lord.

17 मनश्शेह द्वारा किए गए बाकी कामों, उसकी उपलब्धियों और उसके द्वारा किए पापों का ब्यौरा यहूदिया के राजाओं की इतिहास की पुस्तक में दिया गया है.

Concerning the rest of the actes of Manasseh, and all that hee did, and his sinne that he sinned, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?

18 मनश्शेह हमेशा के लिए अपने पूर्वजों में जा मिला और उसे उसी के महल की वाटिका, उज्जा की वाटिका में ही, गाड़ दिया. उसके स्थान पर उसका पुत्र अमोन शासन करने लगा.

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, euen in the garden of Vzza: and Amon his sonne reigned in his steade.

19 राजा बनने के अवसर पर अमोन की उम्र बाईस साल थी. येरूशलेम में उसने दो साल शासन किया. उसकी माता का नाम मेशुलेमेथ था, वह योत्बाह नगर के हारूज़ की पुत्री थी.

Amon was two and twentie yere olde, when he began to reigne, and hee reygned two yeere in Ierusalem: his mothers name also was Meshullemeth the daughter of Haruz of Iotbah.

20 उसने वह किया, जो याहवेह की दृष्टि में गलत है; जैसा उसके पिता मनश्शेह ने किया था.

And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh did.

21 उसका सारा आचरण ठीक वैसा ही था, जैसा उसके पिता का था. वह मूर्तियों की सेवा-उपासना करता था, उन्हें ही नमन करता था, जिनकी सेवा-उपासना उसका पिता करता रहा था.

For hee walked in all the way that his father walked in, and serued the idoles that his father serued, and worshipped them.

22 इस प्रकार उसने याहवेह अपने पिता के परमेश्वर को छोड़ दिया और याहवेह के मार्ग का अनुसरण न किया.

And he forsooke the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.

23 अमोन के सेवकों ने उसके विरुद्ध षड़्‍यंत्र रचा और उसी के घर में राजा की हत्या कर दी.

And the seruantes of Amon conspired against him, and slewe the King in his owne house.

24 मगर प्रजाजनों ने उन सभी की हत्या कर दी, जिन्होंने राजा अमोन के विरुद्ध षड़्‍यंत्र रचा था. उन्होंने उसके स्थान पर उसके पुत्र योशियाह को राजा बनाया.

And the people of the land slewe all them that had conspired against King Amon, and the people made Iosiah his sonne King in his steade.

25 अमोन द्वारा किए गए अन्य कामों का ब्यौरा यहूदिया के राजाओं की इतिहास की पुस्तक में दिया गया है.

Concerning the rest of the actes of Amon, which he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?

26 उसका अंतिम संस्कार उज्जा की वाटिका में स्थित कब्र में किया गया. उसकी जगह पर उसके पुत्र योशियाह ने शासन शुरू किया.

And they buried him in his sepulchre in the garden of Vzza: and Iosiah his sonne reigned in his steade.
