2 कुरिन्थियों 1
1 परमेश्वर की इच्छा के द्वारा मसीह येशु के प्रेरित पौलॉस तथा हमारे भाई तिमोथियॉस. की ओर से कोरिन्थॉस नगर में परमेश्वर की कलीसिया तथा आखाया प्रदेश के सभी पवित्र लोगों को:
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timothy the brother, to the congregation of God that is at Corinth, with all the sanctified who are in the whole of Achaia.
2 परमेश्वर हमारे पिता तथा प्रभु येशु मसीह की ओर से तुम्हें अनुग्रह और शांति प्राप्त हो.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 स्तुति के योग्य हैं परमेश्वर हमारे प्रभु येशु मसीह के पिता—करुणामय पिता तथा सब प्रकार के धीरज के स्रोत परमेश्वर,
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all encouragement,
4 जो हमारी सारी पीड़ाओं में धीरज प्रदान करते हैं कि हम पीड़ितों को उसी प्रकार धीरज प्रदान कर सकें, जिस प्रकार परमेश्वर हमें धीरज प्रदान करते हैं.
who encourages us in all our affliction, in order for us to be able to encourage those in every affliction, through the encouragement of which we ourselves are encouraged by God.
5 ठीक जिस प्रकार हममें मसीह के दुःखों की बहुतायत है, उसी प्रकार बहुत है मसीह के द्वारा हमारा धीरज.
Because, as the sufferings of the Christ abound to us, so also our encouragement abounds through the Christ.
6 यदि हम यातनाएं सहते हैं तो यह तुम्हारे धीरज और उद्धार के लिए है; यदि हमें धीरज प्राप्त हुआ है तो यह तुम्हारे प्रोत्साहन के लिए है कि तुम भी उन्हीं यातनाओं को धीरज के साथ सह सको, जो हम सह रहे हैं.
But whether we are oppressed, it is for your encouragement and salvation, which works by endurance from the same sufferings that we also experience (and our hope for you is steadfast), or we are encouraged, it is for your encouragement and salvation,
7 इस अहसास के प्रकाश में तुम्हारे विषय में हमारी आशा अटल है कि जिस प्रकार तुम हमारे कष्टों में सहभागी हो, उसी प्रकार तुम हमारे धीरज में भी सहभागी होगे.
knowing that, as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also of the encouragement.
8 प्रिय भाई बहनो, हम नहीं चाहते कि तुम उन सब क्लेश के विषय में अनजान रहो, जो आसिया प्रदेश में हम पर आए. हम ऐसे बोझ से दब गए थे, जो हमारी सहनशक्ति से परे था. यहां तक कि हम जीवन की आशा तक खो चुके थे.
For we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, about our affliction that happened to us in Asia, because we were extraordinarily weighed down, above strength, so as for us to despair even to be alive.
9 हमें ऐसा लग रहा था, मानो हम पर दंड की आज्ञा ही प्रसारित हो चुकी है. यह इसलिये हुआ कि हम स्वयं पर नहीं परंतु परमेश्वर में विश्वास स्थिर रखें, जो मरे हुओं को जीवित करते हैं.
But we ourselves have had the sentence of death in ourselves, so that we should not be trusting in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead.
10 हमने परमेश्वर पर, जिन्होंने हमें घोर संकट से बचाया और बचाते ही रहेंगे, आशा रखी है, वह हमें भविष्य में भी बचाते ही रहेंगे,
Who rescued us out of so great a death, and does rescue, in whom we have hoped that he will also still rescue.
11 क्योंकि तुम अपनी प्रार्थनाओं के द्वारा हमारी सहायता करते हो कि हमारी ओर से अनेकों द्वारा उस अनुग्रह के लिए धन्यवाद प्रकट किया जा सके, जो अनेकों की प्रार्थनाओं के फलस्वरूप हमें प्राप्त हुआ है.
And of you who help together by supplication for us (a gift for us from many persons, because of many), so that there may be gratitude about you.
12 इसलिये हमारे गर्व करने का कारण यह है: हमारी अंतरात्मा की पुष्टि कि हमारे शारीरिक जीवन में, विशेष रूप से तुम्हारे संबंध में हमारा व्यवहार परमेश्वर द्वारा दी गई पवित्रता तथा सच्चाई सहित रहा है. यह सांसारिक ज्ञान का नहीं परंतु मात्र परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह का परिणाम था.
For our pride is this (the testimony from our conscience), that we behave in the world in the simplicity and purity of God, not by fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, and especially toward you.
13 हमारे पत्रों में ऐसा कुछ नहीं होता, जो तुम पढ़ या समझ न सको और मेरी आशा यह है कि तुम अंत में सब कुछ समझ लोगे.
For we write no other thing to you, but rather what ye read or also acknowledge. And I hope ye will also acknowledge until the end,
14 ठीक जिस प्रकार तुम हमें बहुत थोड़ा ही समझ पाए हो कि तुम हमारे गर्व का विषय हो, प्रभु येशु के दिन तुम भी हम पर गर्व करोगे.
as also ye did acknowledge us in part, because we are your boast, just as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
15 इस निश्चय के द्वारा सबसे पहले, मैं इस उद्देश्य से तुम्हारे पास आना चाहता था कि तुम्हें दुगनी कृपा का अनुभव हो.
And in this confidence I intended to come to you earlier, so that ye might have a second benefit,
16 मेरी योजना थी कि मैं मकेदोनिया जाते हुए तुम्हारे पास आऊं तथा वहां से लौटते हुए भी. इसके बाद तुम मुझे यहूदिया प्रदेश की यात्रा पर भेज देते.
and to pass through you into Macedonia, and to come again from Macedonia to you, and by you to be helped on the way toward Judea.
17 क्या मेरी यह योजना मेरी अस्थिर मानसिकता थी? या मेरे उद्देश्य मनुष्य के ज्ञान प्रेरित होते हैं कि मेरा बोलना एक ही समय में हां-हां भी होता है और ना-ना भी?
Therefore intending this, did I accordingly employ anything in lightness? Or what I decide, do I decide according to flesh, so that it would be with me the yes, yes and the no, no?
18 जिस प्रकार निःसंदेह परमेश्वर विश्वासयोग्य हैं, उसी प्रकार हमारी बातों में भी “हां” का मतलब हां और “ना” का मतलब ना ही होता है.
But God is faithful, because our word toward you became not, yes and no.
19 परमेश्वर का पुत्र मसीह येशु, जिनका प्रचार सिलवानॉस, तिमोथियॉस तथा मैंने तुम्हारे मध्य किया, वह प्रचार कभी “हां” या कभी “ना” नहीं परंतु परमेश्वर में हमेशा हां ही रहा है.
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ who was proclaimed among you by us (by me and Silvanus and Timothy) became not, yes and no, but in him has become, yes.
20 परमेश्वर की सारी प्रतिज्ञाएं उनमें “हां” ही हैं. इसलिये हम परमेश्वर की महिमा के लिए मसीह येशु के द्वारा “आमेन” कहते हैं.
For as many as be promises of God, in him is the Yes, and in him the Truly, for glory to God through us.
21 परमेश्वर ही हैं, जो तुम्हारे साथ हमें मसीह में मजबूत करते हैं. परमेश्वर ने हम पर अपनी मोहर लगाकर बयाने के रूप में अपना आत्मा हमारे हृदय में रखकर हमारा अभिषेक किया है.
Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and who anointed us, is God.
He also is who put a seal on us, and who gave the pledge of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 परमेश्वर मेरी इस सच्चाई के गवाह हैं कि मैं दोबारा कोरिन्थॉस इसलिये नहीं आया कि मैं तुम्हें कष्ट देना नहीं चाहता था.
But I call God for a witness upon my soul, that I did not yet come to Corinth, sparing you.
24 इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि हम तुम्हारे विश्वास पर अपना अधिकार जताएं क्योंकि तुम अपने विश्वास में स्थिर खड़े हो. हम तो तुम्हारे ही आनंद के लिए तुम्हारे सहकर्मी हैं.
Not because we lord over your faith, but are co-workmen of your joy, for by faith ye stand.
