2 कुरिन्थियों 13

1 तुम्हारे पास मैं तीसरी बार आ रहा हूं. “हर एक बात की पुष्टि के लिए दो या तीन गवाहों की ज़रूरत होती है.”

I am coming this third time to you: by the mouth of two or three witnesses, every matter shall be established.

2 वहां अपने दूसरी बार ठहरने के अवसर पर मैंने तुमसे कहा था और अब वहां अनुपस्थित होने पर भी वहां आने से पहले मैं उन सबसे यह कह रहा हूं: जिन्होंने अतीत में पाप किया है तथा बाकी लोगों से भी, यदि मैं फिर आऊंगा तो किसी पर दया न करूंगा

I have told you before, and now forewarn the second time, (as if present, though still absent, ) those who have formerly sinned, and all others, that when I come again I will not spare;

3 क्योंकि तुम यह सबूत चाहते हो कि जो मेरे द्वारा बातें करते हैं, वह मसीह हैं और वह तुम्हारे प्रति निर्बल नहीं परंतु तुम्हारे मध्य सामर्थ्यी हैं.

since you seek a proof of Christ speaking by me: (who is not weak toward you, but who is mighty among you;

4 वास्तव में वह दुर्बलता की अवस्था में ही क्रूसित किए गए, फिर भी वह परमेश्वर के सामर्थ्य में जीवित हैं. निःसंदेह हम उनमें कमजोर हैं, फिर भी हम तुम्हारे लिए परमेश्वर के सक्रिय सामर्थ्य के कारण उनके साथ जीवित रहेंगे.

for though we was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God; and though we also are weak with him, yet we shall live with him, by the power of God toward you.)

5 स्वयं को परखो कि तुम विश्वास में हो या नहीं. अपने आपको जांचो! क्या तुम्हें यह अहसास नहीं होता कि मसीह येशु तुममें हैं? यदि नहीं तो तुम कसौटी पर खरे नहीं उतरे.

Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove yourselves: know you not yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are disapproved?

6 मुझे भरोसा है कि तुम यह जान जाओगे कि हम कसौटी पर खोटे नहीं उतरे.

But I trust that you shall know that we are not disapproved.

7 हम परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि तुमसे कोई गलती न हो. इसलिये नहीं कि हम भले दिखाई दें, परंतु इसलिये कि तुम वही करो, जो उचित है, फिर हम भले ही खोटे दिखाई दें.

However, I pray to God that you do no evil--not that we may appear approved; but that you may do what is good, though, indeed, we should be disapproved.

8 सच्चाई के विरोध में हम कुछ भी नहीं कर सकते. हम सच के पक्षधर ही रह सकते हैं.

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

9 हम अपने कमजोर होने तथा तुम्हारे समर्थ होने पर आनंदित होते हैं और यह प्रार्थना भी करते हैं कि तुम सिद्ध बन जाओ.

Therefore we rejoice when we are weak, and you are strong: and this, also, we pray for, even your perfection.

10 इस कारण दूर होते हुए भी मैं तुम्हें यह सब लिख रहा हूं कि वहां उपस्थिति होने पर मुझे प्रभु द्वारा दिए गए अधिकार का प्रयोग कठोर भाव में न करना पढ़े. इस अधिकार का उद्देश्य है उन्‍नत करना, न कि नाश करना.

For this reason, being absent, I write these things, that, when present, I may not act sharply, according to the power which the Lord has give me for edification, and not for destruction.

11 अंत में, प्रिय भाई बहनो, आनंदित रहो, अपना स्वभाव साफ़ रखो, एक दूसरे को प्रोत्साहित करते रहो, एक मत रहो, शांति बनाए रखो और प्रेम और शांति के परमेश्वर तुम्हारे साथ होंगे.

Finally, brethren, farewell: be perfect: comfort yourselves: mind the same thing: live in peace: and the God of love and peace will be with you.

12 पवित्र चुंबन से एक दूसरे को नमस्कार करो.

Salute one another with a holy kiss.

13 सभी पवित्र लोग जो यहां हैं, उनकी ओर से नमस्कार.

All the saints salute you.

14 प्रभु येशु मसीह का अनुग्रह, और परमेश्वर का प्रेम, और पवित्र आत्मा की सहभागिता तुम सभी के साथ बनी रहे.

The favor of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
