1 पतरस 5
1 इसलिये मैं, एक सह प्राचीन होकर, जो मसीह येशु के दुःखों का प्रत्यक्ष गवाह तथा उस महिमा का सहभागी हूं, जो भविष्य में प्रकट होने पर है, तुम्हारे पुरनियों से विनती कर रहा हूं
The elders which are among you, I beseech which am also an elder, and a witnesse of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shalbe reueiled,
2 कि वे परमेश्वर की इच्छा में परमेश्वर के झुंड की देखरेख करें—दबाव में नहीं परंतु अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार; अनुचित लाभ की दृष्टि से नहीं परंतु शुद्ध सेवाभाव में,
Feede the flocke of God, which dependeth vpon you, caring for it not by constraint, but willingly: not for filthy lucre, but of a ready minde:
3 अपने झुंड पर प्रभुता दिखाकर नहीं परंतु उनके लिए एक आदर्श बनकर;
Not as though ye were lords ouer Gods heritage, but that yee may bee ensamples to the flocke.
4 क्योंकि प्रधान चरवाहे के प्रकट होने पर तुम महिमा का अविनाशी मुकुट प्राप्त करोगे.
And when that chiefe shepheard shall appeare, ye shall receiue an incorruptible crowne of glory.
5 इसी प्रकार युवाओ, तुम प्राचीनों के अधीन रहो तथा तुम सभी एक दूसरे के प्रति दीनता की भावना धारण करो क्योंकि, “परमेश्वर घमंडियों के विरुद्ध रहते और दीनों को अनुग्रह देते हैं.”
Likewise ye yonger, submit your selues vnto the elders, and submit your selues euery man, one to another: decke your selues inwardly in lowlinesse of minde: for God resisteth the proude, and giueth grace to the humble.
6 इसलिये परमेश्वर के सामर्थ्यी हाथों के नीचे स्वयं को दीन बनाए रखो कि वह तुम्हें सही समय पर बढ़ाएं.
Humble your selues therefore vnder the mightie hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
7 अपनी सारी चिंता का बोझ परमेश्वर पर डाल दो क्योंकि वह तुम्हारा ध्यान रखते हैं.
Cast all your care on him: for he careth for you.
8 धीरज रखो, सावधान रहो. तुम्हारा विरोधी शैतान गरजते हुए सिंह जैसे इस खोज में फिरता रहता है कि किसको फाड़ खाए.
Be sober, and watch: for your aduersarie the deuil as a roaring lyon walketh about, seeking whom he may deuoure:
9 विश्वास में स्थिर रहकर उसका सामना करो क्योंकि तुम जानते हो कि इस संसार में साथी विश्वासी इसी प्रकार दुःख-भोग रहे हैं.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren which are in the world.
10 जब तुम थोड़े समय के लिए दुःख-भोग चुके होगे तब सारे अनुग्रह के परमेश्वर, जिन्होंने तुम्हें मसीह में अपनी अनंत काल की महिमा में आमंत्रित किया है, स्वयं तुम्हें सिद्ध, स्थिर, मजबूत तथा प्रतिष्ठित करेंगे. (aiōnios g166)
And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you. (aiōnios g166)
To him be glory and dominion for euer and euer, Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 सिलवानॉस की सहायता से, जिसे मैं एक विश्वासयोग्य भाई मानता हूं, मैंने तुम्हें प्रोत्साहित तथा आश्वस्त करते हुए संक्षेप में लिखा है कि यही परमेश्वर का वास्तविक अनुग्रह है. तुम इसी में स्थिर रहो.
By Syluanus a faithfull brother vnto you, as I suppose, haue I written briefly, exhorting and testifying how that this is the true grace of God, wherein ye stand.
13 तुम्हें उसकी शुभकामनाएं, जो बाबेल में है, जिसे तुम्हारे ही साथ चुनकर अलग किया गया है और उसी प्रकार मेरे पुत्र मार्कास की भी.
The Church that is at Babylon elected together with you, saluteth you, and Marcus my sonne.
14 प्रेम के चुंबन के द्वारा एक दूसरे को नमस्कार करो. तुम सभी को, जो मसीह में हैं, शांति!
Greete yee one another with the kisse of loue. Peace be with you all which are in Christ Iesus, Amen.
