1 यूहन्ना 2
1 मेरे बच्चों, मैं यह सब तुम्हें इसलिये लिख रहा हूं कि तुम पाप न करो किंतु यदि किसी से पाप हो ही जाए तो पिता के पास हमारे लिए एक सहायक है मसीह येशु, जो धर्मी हैं.
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
2 वही हमारे पापों के लिए प्रायश्चित बलि हैं—मात्र हमारे ही पापों के लिए नहीं परंतु सारे संसार के पापों के लिए.
He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 परमेश्वर के आदेशों का पालन करना इस बात का प्रमाण है कि हमने परमेश्वर को जान लिया है.
By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments.
4 वह, जो यह कहता तो रहता है, “मैं परमेश्वर को जानता हूं,” किंतु उनके आदेशों और आज्ञाओं के पालन नहीं करता, झूठा है और उसमें सच है ही नहीं
If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 परंतु जो कोई उनकी आज्ञा का पालन करता है, उसमें परमेश्वर का प्रेम वास्तव में सिद्धता तक पहुंचा दिया गया है. परमेश्वर में हमारे स्थिर बने रहने का प्रमाण यह है:
But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him:
6 जो कोई यह दावा करता है कि वह मसीह येशु में स्थिर है, तो वह उन्हीं के समान चालचलन भी करे.
Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked.
7 प्रिय भाई बहनो, मैं तुम्हें कोई नई आज्ञा नहीं परंतु वही आज्ञा लिख रहा हूं, जो प्रारंभ ही से थी; यह वही समाचार है, जो तुम सुन चुके हो.
Beloved, I am not writing to you a new commandment, but an old one, which you have had from the beginning. This commandment is the message you have heard.
8 फिर भी मैं तुम्हें एक नई आज्ञा लिख रहा हूं, जो मसीह में सच था तथा तुममें भी सच है. अंधकार मिट रहा है तथा वास्तविक ज्योति चमकी है.
Then again, I am also writing to you a new commandment, which is true in Him and also in you. For the darkness is fading and the true light is already shining.
9 वह, जो यह दावा करता है कि वह ज्योति में है, फिर भी अपने भाई से घृणा करता है, अब तक अंधकार में ही है.
If anyone claims to be in the light but hates his brother, he is still in the darkness.
10 जो साथी विश्वासी से प्रेम करता है, उसका वास ज्योति में है, तथा उसमें ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं जिससे वह ठोकर खाए.
Whoever loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no cause of stumbling in him.
11 परंतु वह, जो साथी विश्वासी से घृणा करता है, अंधकार में है, अंधकार में ही चलता है तथा नहीं जानता कि वह किस दिशा में बढ़ रहा है क्योंकि अंधकार ने उसे अंधा बना दिया है.
But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness. He does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 बच्चों, यह सब मैं तुम्हें इसलिये लिख रहा हूं, कि मसीह येशु के नाम के लिए तुम्हारे पाप क्षमा किए गए हैं.
I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven through His name.
13 तुम्हें, जो पिता हो, मैं यह इसलिये लिख रहा हूं कि तुम उन्हें जानते हो, जो आदि से हैं. तुम्हें, जो युवा हो, इसलिये कि तुमने उस दुष्ट को हरा दिया है.
I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children, because you know the Father.
14 प्रभु में नए जन्मे शिशुओं, तुम्हें इसलिये कि तुम पिता को जानते हो. तुम्हें, जो पिता हो, मैं इसलिये लिख रहा हूं कि तुम उन्हें जानते हो, जो आदि से हैं. तुम्हें, जो नौजवान हो, इसलिये कि तुम बलवंत हो, तुममें परमेश्वर के शब्द का वास है, और तुमने उस दुष्ट को हरा दिया है.
I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
15 न तो संसार से प्रेम रखो और न ही सांसारिक वस्तुओं से. यदि कोई संसार से प्रेम रखता है, उसमें पिता का प्रेम होता ही नहीं.
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 वह सब, जो संसार में समाया हुआ है—शरीर की अभिलाषा, आंखों की लालसा तथा जीवनशैली का घमंड—पिता की ओर से नहीं परंतु संसार की ओर से है.
For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world.
17 संसार अपनी अभिलाषाओं के साथ मिट रहा है, किंतु वह, जो परमेश्वर की इच्छा पूरी करता है, सर्वदा बना रहता है. (aiōn g165)
The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever. (aiōn g165)
18 प्रभु में नए जन्मे शिशुओं, यह अंतिम समय है और ठीक जैसा तुमने सुना ही है कि मसीह विरोधी प्रकट होने पर है, इस समय भी अनेक मसीह विरोधी उठ खड़े हुए हैं, जिससे यह साबित होता है कि यह अंतिम समय है.
Children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. This is how we know it is the last hour.
19 वे हमारे बीच ही से बाहर चले गए—वास्तव में वे हमारे थे ही नहीं—यदि वे हमारे होते तो हमें छोड़कर न जाते. उनका हमें छोड़कर जाना ही यह स्पष्ट कर देता है कि उनमें से कोई भी हमारा न था.
They went out from us, but they did not belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. But their departure made it clear that none of them belonged to us.
20 किंतु तुम्हारा अभिषेक उन पवित्र मसीह येशु से है, इसका तुम्हें अहसास भी है.
You, however, have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
21 मेरा यह सब लिखने का उद्देश्य यह नहीं कि तुम सच्चाई से अनजान हो परंतु यह कि तुम इससे परिचित हो. किसी भी झूठ का जन्म सच से नहीं होता.
I have not written to you because you lack knowledge of the truth, but because you have it, and because no lie comes from the truth.
22 झूठा कौन है? सिवाय उसके, जो येशु के मसीह होने की बात को अस्वीकार करता है? यही मसीह विरोधी है, जो पिता और पुत्र को अस्वीकार करता है.
Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son.
23 हर एक, जो पुत्र को अस्वीकार करता है, पिता भी उसके नहीं हो सकते. जो पुत्र का अंगीकार करता है, पिता परमेश्वर भी उसके हैं.
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.
24 इसका ध्यान रखो कि तुममें वही शिक्षा स्थिर रहे, जो तुमने प्रारंभ से सुनी है. यदि वह शिक्षा, जो तुमने प्रारंभ से सुनी है, तुममें स्थिर है तो तुम भी पुत्र और पिता में बने रहोगे.
As for you, let what you have heard from the beginning remain in you. If it does, you will also remain in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 यह सब मैंने तुम्हें उनके विषय में लिखा है, जो तुम्हें मार्ग से भटकाने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं.
I have written these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you.
27 तुम्हारी स्थिति में प्रभु के द्वारा किया गया वह अभिषेक का तुममें स्थिर होने के प्रभाव से यह ज़रूरी ही नहीं कि कोई तुम्हें शिक्षा दे. उनके द्वारा किया गया अभिषेक ही तुम्हें सभी विषयों की शिक्षा देता है. यह शिक्षा सच है, झूठ नहीं. ठीक जैसी शिक्षा तुम्हें दी गई है, तुम उसी के अनुसार मसीह में स्थिर बने रहो.
And as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But just as His true and genuine anointing teaches you about all things, so remain in Him as you have been taught.
28 बच्चों, उनमें स्थिर रहो कि जब वह प्रकट हों तो हम निडर पाए जाएं तथा उनके आगमन पर हमें लज्जित न होना पड़े.
And now, little children, remain in Christ, so that when He appears, we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.
29 यदि तुम्हें यह अहसास है कि वह धर्मी हैं तो यह जान लो कि हर एक धर्मी व्यक्ति भी उन्हीं से उत्पन्न हुआ है.
If you know that He is righteous, you also know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him.
