1 कुरिन्थियों 12
1 अब पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा दी गई क्षमताओं से संबंधित बातों के विषय में: मैं नहीं चाहता, प्रिय भाई बहनो, कि तुम इनसे अनजान रहो.
And concerning the spiritual things, brothers, I do not wish you to be ignorant;
2 तुम्हें याद होगा कि मसीह में अविश्वासी स्थिति में तुम गूंगी मूर्तियों के पीछे चलने के लिए भटका दिए गए थे.
you have known that you were nations, being carried away as you were led to the mute idols;
3 इसलिये मैं यह स्पष्ट कर देना चाहता हूं कि परमेश्वर के आत्मा से प्रेरित कोई भी व्यक्ति यह कह ही नहीं सकता “शापित हो येशु” और न ही कोई पवित्र आत्मा की प्रेरणा के बिना कह सकता है “येशु प्रभु हैं.”
for this reason, I give you to understand that no one, speaking in the Spirit of God, says Jesus [is] accursed, and no one is able to say Jesus [is] LORD, except in the Holy Spirit.
4 आत्मा द्वारा दी गई क्षमताएं अलग-अलग हैं किंतु आत्मा एक ही हैं.
And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;
5 सेवकाई भी अलग-अलग हैं किंतु प्रभु एक ही हैं.
and there are diversities of ministries, and the same Lord;
6 काम करने के तरीके भी अनेक हैं किंतु परमेश्वर एक ही हैं, जो सब मनुष्यों में उनका प्रभाव उत्पन्न करते हैं.
and there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God—who is working all in all.
7 प्रत्येक को पवित्र आत्मा का प्रकाशन सबके बराबर लाभ के उद्देश्य से दिया जाता है.
And to each has been given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit;
8 आत्मा द्वारा किसी को ज्ञान भरी सलाह की क्षमता और किसी को उन्हीं आत्मा द्वारा ज्ञान भरी शिक्षा की क्षमता प्रदान की जाती है;
for to one through the Spirit has been given a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
9 किसी को उन्हीं आत्मा द्वारा विश्वास की तथा किसी को उन्हीं आत्मा द्वारा चंगा करने की क्षमता प्रदान की जाती है;
and to another faith in the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings in the same Spirit;
10 किसी को सामर्थ्य के काम करने की, किसी को भविष्यवाणी की. किसी को आत्माओं की पहचान की, किसी को अन्य भाषाओं की तथा किसी को भाषाओं के वर्णन की क्षमता.
and to another in-workings of mighty deeds; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; and to another [various] kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues:
11 इन सबको सिर्फ एक और एक ही आत्मा के द्वारा किया जाता है तथा वह हर एक में ये क्षमताएं व्यक्तिगत रूप से बांट देते हैं.
and the one and the same Spirit works all these, dividing to each individually as He intends.
12 जिस प्रकार शरीर एक है और उसके अंग अनेक, शरीर के अंग अनेक होने पर भी शरीर एक ही है; इसी प्रकार मसीह भी हैं.
For even as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ,
13 यहूदी हो या यूनानी, दास हो या स्वतंत्र, एक ही शरीर होने के लिए एक ही आत्मा में हमारा बपतिस्मा किया गया तथा हम सभी को एक ही आत्मा पिलाया गया.
for also in one Spirit we were all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether servants or freemen, and all were made to drink one Spirit,
14 शरीर सिर्फ एक अंग नहीं परंतु अनेक अंग है.
for also the body is not one member, but many.
15 यदि पैर कहे, “मैं हाथ नहीं इसलिये मैं शरीर का अंग नहीं.” तो क्या उसके ऐसा कहने से वह शरीर का अंग नहीं रह जाता?
If the foot may say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it not, because of this, not of the body?
16 और यदि कान कहे, “मैं आंख नहीं इसलिये मैं शरीर का अंग नहीं.” तो क्या उसके ऐसा कहने से वह शरीर का अंग नहीं रह जाता?
And if the ear may say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it not, because of this, not of the body?
17 यदि सारा शरीर आंख ही होता तो सुनना कैसे होता? यदि सारा शरीर कान ही होता तो सूंघना कैसे होता?
If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? If the whole hearing, where the smelling?
18 किंतु परमेश्वर ने अपनी अच्छी बुद्धि के अनुसार हर एक अंग को शरीर में नियुक्त किया है.
And now, God set the members, each one of them in the body, according as He willed,
19 यदि सभी अंग एक ही अंग होते तो शरीर कहां होता?
and if all were one member, where [is] the body?
20 इसलिये वास्तविकता यह है कि अंग अनेक किंतु शरीर एक ही है.
And now, indeed, [are] many members, but one body;
21 आंख हाथ से नहीं कह सकती, “मुझे तुम्हारी कोई ज़रूरत नहीं,” या हाथ-पैर से, “मुझे तुम्हारी ज़रूरत नहीं.”
and an eye is not able to say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 इसके विपरीत शरीर के वे अंग, जो दुर्बल मालूम होते हैं, बहुत ज़रूरी हैं.
But much more the members of the body seeming to be weaker are necessary,
23 शरीर के जो अंग तुलना में कम महत्व के समझे जाते हैं, उन्हीं को हम अधिक महत्व देते हैं और तुच्छ अंगों को हम विशेष ध्यान रखते हुए ढांके रखते हैं,
and those that we think to be less honorable of the body, around these we put more abundant honor, and our unseemly things have more abundant seemliness,
24 जबकि शोभनीय अंगों को इसकी कोई ज़रूरत नहीं किंतु परमेश्वर ने शरीर में अंगों को इस प्रकार बनाया है कि तुच्छ अंगों की महत्ता भी पहचानी जाए
and our seemly things have no need; but God tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to the lacking part,
25 कि शरीर में कोई फूट न हो परंतु हर एक अंग एक दूसरे का ध्यान रखे.
that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same anxiety for one another,
26 यदि एक अंग को पीड़ा होती है, तो उसके साथ सभी अंग पीड़ित होते हैं. यदि एक अंग को सम्मानित किया जाता है तो उसके साथ सभी अंग उसके आनंद में सहभागी होते हैं.
and whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with [it], or one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with [it];
27 तुम मसीह के शरीर हो और तुममें से हर एक इस शरीर का अंग है.
and you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 कलीसिया में परमेश्वर ने सबसे पहले प्रेरितों, दूसरा भविष्यद्वक्ताओं तथा तीसरा शिक्षकों को नियुक्त किया है. इसके बाद उनको, जिन्हें अद्भुत काम, चंगा करने का, भलाई करनेवाले, प्रशासन-प्रबंध करनेवाले तथा अन्य भाषा बोलने की क्षमता प्रदान की गई है.
And some, indeed, God set in the Assembly: first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, afterward powers, afterward gifts of healings, helpings, governings, various kinds of tongues.
29 इसलिये क्या सभी प्रेरित हैं? सभी भविष्यवक्ता हैं? सभी शिक्षक हैं? सभी अद्भुत काम करते हैं?
[Are] all apostles? [Are] all prophets? [Are] all teachers? [Are] all powers?
30 क्या सभी को चंगाई करने की क्षमता दी गई है? क्या सभी अन्य भाषाओं में बात करते हैं? क्या सभी व्याख्या करते हैं?
[Do] all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
31 सही तो यह होगा कि तुम ऊंची क्षमताओं की इच्छा करो. अब मैं तुम्हें सबसे उत्तम स्वभाव के विषय में बताना चाहूंगा.
And earnestly desire the better gifts; and yet I show to you a far [more] excelling way:
