1 द्वारपालों के लिए विभाजन इस प्रकार किया गया: कोहाथ के वंश से: आसफ के परिवार में से कोरे का पुत्र मेषेलेमियाह.
Concerning the divisions of the gatekeepers [who were] of the Korchites: Meshelemyahu the son of Kore, of the sons of Assaph.
2 मेषेलेमियाह के पुत्र: जेठा पुत्र ज़करयाह, दूसरा पुत्र येदिआएल, तीसरा ज़ेबादिया, चौथा याथनिएल,
And Meshelemyahu had sons: Zecharyahu the first-born, Jedi'ael the second, Zebaiyahu the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 पांचवा एलाम, छठवां येहोहानन और सातवां एलीहोएनाई.
Elam the fifth, Jehochanan the sixth, Elyeho'enal the seventh,
4 ओबेद-एदोम के पुत्र: जेठा पुत्र शेमायाह, दूसरा योज़ाबाद, तीसरा योआह, चौथा साकार, पांचवा नेथानेल,
And 'Obed-edom had sons: Shema'yah the first-born, Jehosabad the second, Joach the third, and Sachar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
5 छठवां अम्मिएल, सातवां इस्साखार और आठवां पेउल्लेथाई (सत्य तो यह है कि ओबेद-एदोम पर परमेश्वर की विशेष कृपादृष्टि थी.)
'Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Pe'ulthai the eighth; for God had blessed him.
6 उसके पुत्र शेमायाह के भी पुत्र हुए, जो अपने-अपने परिवारों के प्रधान थे, क्योंकि उनमें अद्भुत प्रतिभा थी.
Also unto Shema'yah his son there were born sons, that were rulers for the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.
7 शेमायाह के पुत्र: ओथनी, रेफ़ाएल और एलज़ाबाद; उसके संबंधी एलिहू और सेमाकियाह भी अद्भुत क्षमता के व्यक्ति थे.
The sons of Shema'yah were 'Othni, and Rephael, and 'Obed, [and] Elsahad, his brothers [were] valiant men, Elihu, and Semachyahu.
8 ये सभी ओबेद-एदोम के वंशज थे. वे, उनके पुत्र और संबंधी सम्माननीय व्यक्ति थे. वे अपनी ज़िम्मेदारियों को निभाने में समर्थ थे. ये बासठ व्यक्ति थे, जो ओबेद-एदोम से संबंधित थे,
All these were of the sons of 'Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren were valiant men in strength for the service, being sixty and two [descendants] of 'Obed-edom.
9 मेषेलेमियाह के पुत्र और संबंधी थे—अठारह वीर योद्धा.
And Meshelemyahu had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.
10 मेरारी के एक वंशज, होसाह, के पुत्र थे जेठा शिमरी, (जो वास्तव में जेठा नहीं था किंतु उसके पिता ने उसे यह पद दिया था),
Also Chossah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, for [though] he was not the first-born, yet his father made him the chief;
11 दूसरा पुत्र था हिलकियाह, तीसरा तेबालियाह और चौथा त्सेरवरियाह. होसाह के पुत्रों और संबंधियों की कुल संख्या तेरह थी.
Chilkiyahu the second, Tehalyahu the third, Zecharyahu the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Chossah were thirteen.
12 द्वारपालों के इन दलों को उनके अगुओं की अगुवाई में उन्हीं के संबंधियों के समान याहवेह के भवन में सेवा की जवाबदारी सौंपी गई थी.
These divisions of the gatekeepers, after the chief men, had the watch along with their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
13 हर एक परिवार ने, चाहे वह छोटा था या बड़ा, पासा फेंकने की प्रक्रिया द्वारा यह मालूम किया कि उन्हें किस द्वार पर सेवा करनी होगी.
And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their family divisions, for each and every gate.
14 पासे के द्वारा पूर्वी द्वार की जवाबदारी शेलेमियाह को सौंपी गई. तब उसके पुत्र ज़करयाह लिए पासा फेंका गया. वह बुद्धिमान सलाहकार था. पासा फेंकने से मिले निर्णय के अनुसार उसे उत्तरी द्वार पर रखा गया.
And the lot at the east fell for Shelemyahu. And for Zecharyahu his son, an intelligent counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out at the north.
15 ओबेद-एदोम के लिए पासे का निर्णय दक्षिण द्वार के लिए पड़ा. उसके पुत्रों को भंडार घर के लिए चुना गया.
For 'Obed-edom at the south; and to his sons [was assigned] the house of Assuppim.
16 शुप्पिम और होसाह को पश्चिमी द्वार के लिए चुना गया; इसके अलावा चढ़ाई के मार्ग के शल्लेकेथ. द्वार के लिए भी द्वारपालों का काम पहरेदारों के समान था:
For Shuppim and for Chossah at the west, by the gate Shallecheth, on the ascending causeway, watch alongside of watch.
17 पूर्व में हर रोज़ छः लेवी ठहराए जाते थे, उत्तर में हर रोज़ चार, दक्षिण में हर रोज़ चार और हर एक भंडार घर पर दो-दो.
At the east were six Levites, at the north four for every day, at the south four for every day, and for [the house of] Assuppim always two.
18 पश्चिम ओसारे के लिए चार पहरेदार मार्ग की ओर और दो ओसारे के लिए चुने गए थे.
At the Parbar on the west, four at the causeway, and two at the Parbar.
19 द्वारपालों का यह बंटवारा कोराह-वंशजों और मेरारी के पुत्रों के बीच किया गया था.
These are the divisions of the gatekeepers of the sons of the Korchites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 अहीयाह के नेतृत्व में लेवी वंशज और उनके संबंधी परमेश्वर के भवन के खजाने और चढ़ाई गई वस्तुओं के खजाने के अधिकारी थे.
And of the Levites, Achiyah was over the treasuries of the house of God, and over the treasuries of the holy things.

[As concerning] the sons of La'dan, the sons of the Gershunites of La'dan, the chiefs of the families of La'dan the Gershunite, were the Jechielites.

The sons of Jechieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord.

Of the 'Amramites, of the Yizharites, of the Hebronites, and of the 'Uzzielites,
24 मोशेह का पोता, गेरशोम का पुत्र शुबेल प्रमुख ख़ज़ाना-अधिकारी था.
[Was] even Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, superintendent of the treasuries.
25 एलिएज़र के ओर से उसके संबंधी रेहाबिया, उसका पुत्र येशाइयाह, उसका पुत्र योराम, उसका पुत्र ज़ीकरी और उसका पुत्र शेलोमोथ थे.
And his brethren by Eli'ezer: Rechabyahu his son, and Jesha'yahu his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 (शेलोमोथ और उसके संबंधी उन सभी खजानों के अधिकारी थे, जिसमें चढ़ाई गई भेंटें इकट्ठा थी, जो राजा दावीद, घराने के प्रधानों, सहस्र पतियों और शतपतियों, सैन्य अधिकारियों द्वारा चढ़ाई गई थी.
This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the holy things, which king David had sanctified, together with the chiefs of the family divisions, the captains over the thousands and the hundreds, and the captains of the army.
27 इन्होंने इसमें याहवेह के मंदिर के रख रखाव के उद्देश्य से युद्ध में लूटी हुई सामग्री का भाग बचाकर रखा था.
Out of the wars, and out of the booty did they sanctify to maintain the house of the Lord.
28 शेलोमोथ और उसका परिवार उन सभी वस्तुओं का अधिकारी था जो मंदिर में इस्तेमाल के लिए चढ़ाई जाती थी. इनमें वे भेंट भी शामिल थी, जो भविष्यद्वक्ता शमुएल, राजा शाऊल, नेर के पुत्र अबनेर और ज़ेरुइयाह के पुत्र योआब द्वारा चढ़ाई गई थी.)
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruyah, had sanctified, whatsoever [any one] had sanctified, was under the supervision of Shelomoth and of his brethren.
29 इज़हारियों के बारे में: केनानियाह और उसके पुत्रों को मंदिर के बाहर इस्राएल के प्रशासकों और न्यायाध्यक्षों के काम का भार सौंपा गया था.
Of the Yizharites were Kenanyahu and his sons for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.

Of the Hebronites were Chashabyahu and his brethren, valiant men, a thousand and seven hundred [in number], appointed over the affairs of Israel on this side of the Jordan to the west, for all the business of the Lord, and for the service of the king.

Of the Hebronites was Jeriyah the chief, for the Hebronites, according to their generations by families. In the fortieth year of the reign of David were they inquired into, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Ja'zer of Gil'ad.

And his brethren, valiant men, were two thousand and seven hundred chiefs of families: and king David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and the affairs of the king.
