תהילים 59
| למנצח אל תשחת לדוד מכתם בשלח שאול וישמרו את הבית להמיתו הצילני מאיבי אלהי ממתקוממי תשגבני׃ | 1 |
To the choirmaster al-tashcheth of David a miktam when sent Saul and people watched the house to kill him. Deliver me from enemies my - O God my from [those who] rise up against me may you set on high me.
| הצילני מפעלי און ומאנשי דמים הושיעני׃ | 2 |
Deliver me from [those who] do wickedness and from men of blood save me.
| כי הנה ארבו לנפשי יגורו עלי עזים לא פשעי ולא חטאתי יהוה׃ | 3 |
For here! they lie in wait for life my they stir up trouble on me fierce [people] not transgression my and not sin my O Yahweh.
| בלי עון ירוצון ויכוננו עורה לקראתי וראה׃ | 4 |
Not iniquity they run! and they may be established awake! to meet me and see.
| ואתה יהוה אלהים צבאות אלהי ישראל הקיצה לפקד כל הגוים אל תחן כל בגדי און סלה׃ | 5 |
And you O Yahweh God of - hosts [the] God of Israel awake! to punish all the nations may not you show favor to all [those who] act treacherously of wickedness (Selah)
| ישובו לערב יהמו ככלב ויסובבו עיר׃ | 6 |
They return to evening they growl like dog so they may go around [the] city.
| הנה יביעון בפיהם חרבות בשפתותיהם כי מי שמע׃ | 7 |
Here! - they pour forth! with mouth their swords [are] on lips their for who? [is] hearing.
| ואתה יהוה תשחק למו תלעג לכל גוים׃ | 8 |
And you O Yahweh you laugh to them you mock all [the] nations.
| עזו אליך אשמרה כי אלהים משגבי׃ | 9 |
Strength his to you I will watch for God [is] refuge my.
| אלהי חסדו יקדמני אלהים יראני בשררי׃ | 10 |
[the] God of (Covenant loyalty my *Q(K)*) he will meet me God he will let look me on enemies my.
| אל תהרגם פן ישכחו עמי הניעמו בחילך והורידמו מגננו אדני׃ | 11 |
May not you kill them - lest they should forget people my make wander about them by strength your and bring down them O shield our O Lord.
| חטאת פימו דבר שפתימו וילכדו בגאונם ומאלה ומכחש יספרו׃ | 12 |
[the] sin of Mouth their [the] word of lips their and let them be caught in pride their and from a curse and from lying [which] they speak.
| כלה בחמה כלה ואינמו וידעו כי אלהים משל ביעקב לאפסי הארץ סלה׃ | 13 |
Make an end in anger make an end and there not [will be] them so they may know that God [is] ruling over Jacob to [the] ends of the earth (Selah)
| וישובו לערב יהמו ככלב ויסובבו עיר׃ | 14 |
So they may return to evening they growl like dog so they may go around [the] city.
| המה ינועון לאכל אם לא ישבעו וילינו׃ | 15 |
They (they make wander about! *Q(K)*) to eat if not they are satisfied and they passed [the] night.
| ואני אשיר עזך וארנן לבקר חסדך כי היית משגב לי ומנוס ביום צר לי׃ | 16 |
And I - I will sing strength your so I may sing for joy to the morning covenant loyalty your for you have been a refuge of me and a place of escape on [the] day [when] it is distress to me.
| עזי אליך אזמרה כי אלהים משגבי אלהי חסדי׃ | 17 |
O strength my to you I will sing praises for God [is] refuge my [the] God of covenant loyalty my.
