במדבר 7
| ויהי ביום כלות משה להקים את המשכן וימשח אתו ויקדש אתו ואת כל כליו ואת המזבח ואת כל כליו וימשחם ויקדש אתם׃ | 1 |
And it came to pass on the day that Moses had finally set up the tabernacle, and had anointed, and sanctified it, and all its vessels, as also the altar and all its vessels, and had anointed them, and sanctified them:
| ויקריבו נשיאי ישראל ראשי בית אבתם הם נשיאי המטת הם העמדים על הפקדים׃ | 2 |
That the princes of Israel, the heads of their family divisions, who were the princes of the tribes, the same who had superintended the numbering, offered.
| ויביאו את קרבנם לפני יהוה שש עגלת צב ושני עשר בקר עגלה על שני הנשאים ושור לאחד ויקריבו אותם לפני המשכן׃ | 3 |
And they brought their offering before the Lord, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two princes, and an ox for each one: and they presented them before the tabernacle.
| ויאמר יהוה אל משה לאמר׃ | 4 |
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
| קח מאתם והיו לעבד את עבדת אהל מועד ונתתה אותם אל הלוים איש כפי עבדתו׃ | 5 |
Take it from them, that they may be used to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
| ויקח משה את העגלת ואת הבקר ויתן אותם אל הלוים׃ | 6 |
And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.
| את שתי העגלת ואת ארבעת הבקר נתן לבני גרשון כפי עבדתם׃ | 7 |
Two of the wagons and four of the oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:
| ואת ארבע העגלת ואת שמנת הבקר נתן לבני מררי כפי עבדתם ביד איתמר בן אהרן הכהן׃ | 8 |
And four of the wagons and eight of the oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according to their service, under the supervision of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.
| ולבני קהת לא נתן כי עבדת הקדש עלהם בכתף ישאו׃ | 9 |
But unto the sons of Kehath he gave none; because the service of the sanctuary belonged unto them, they were to bear upon their shoulders.
| ויקריבו הנשאים את חנכת המזבח ביום המשח אתו ויקריבו הנשיאם את קרבנם לפני המזבח׃ | 10 |
The princes also offered for the dedicating of the altar on the day that it was anointed; and the princes presented their offering before the altar.
| ויאמר יהוה אל משה נשיא אחד ליום נשיא אחד ליום יקריבו את קרבנם לחנכת המזבח׃ | 11 |
And the Lord said unto Moses, One prince each on a given day, shall they offer their offering, for the dedication of the altar.
| ויהי המקריב ביום הראשון את קרבנו נחשון בן עמינדב למטה יהודה׃ | 12 |
And he that offered his offering on the first day was Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:
| וקרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 13 |
And his offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 14 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 15 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 16 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתודים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן נחשון בן עמינדב׃ | 17 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Nachshon the son of 'Amminadab.
| ביום השני הקריב נתנאל בן צוער נשיא יששכר׃ | 18 |
On the second day Nethanel the son of Zuar, the prince of Issachar, did offer:
| הקרב את קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 19 |
He offered for his offering one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 20 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 21 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 22 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתודים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן נתנאל בן צוער׃ | 23 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Nethanel the son of Zuar.
| ביום השלישי נשיא לבני זבולן אליאב בן חלן׃ | 24 |
On the third day Eliab the son of Chelon, the prince of the children of Zebulun, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 25 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 26 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 27 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 28 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן אליאב בן חלן׃ | 29 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Eliab the son of Chelon.
| ביום הרביעי נשיא לבני ראובן אליצור בן שדיאור׃ | 30 |
On the fourth day Elizur the son of Shedeur, the prince of the children of Reuben, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 31 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 32 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 33 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 34 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן אליצור בן שדיאור׃ | 35 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Elizur the son of Shedeur.
| ביום החמישי נשיא לבני שמעון שלמיאל בן צורישדי׃ | 36 |
On the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, the prince of the children of Simeon, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 37 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 38 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 39 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 40 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן שלמיאל בן צורישדי׃ | 41 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
| ביום הששי נשיא לבני גד אליסף בן דעואל׃ | 42 |
On the sixth day Elyassaph the son of Deuel, the prince of the children of Gad, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 43 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 44 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 45 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 46 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering:
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן אליסף בן דעואל׃ | 47 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Elyassaph the son of Deuel.
| ביום השביעי נשיא לבני אפרים אלישמע בן עמיהוד׃ | 48 |
On the seventh day Elishama the son of 'Ammihud, the prince of the children of Ephraim, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 49 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 50 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 51 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 52 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן אלישמע בן עמיהוד׃ | 53 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Elishama the son of 'Ammihud.
| ביום השמיני נשיא לבני מנשה גמליאל בן פדהצור׃ | 54 |
On the eighth day Gamliel the son of Pedahzur, the prince of the children of Menasseh, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 55 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 56 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 57 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 58 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן גמליאל בן פדהצור׃ | 59 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.
| ביום התשיעי נשיא לבני בנימן אבידן בן גדעני׃ | 60 |
On the ninth day Abidan the son of Gidoni, the prince of the children of Benjamin, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 61 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering.
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 62 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 63 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 64 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן אבידן בן גדעני׃ | 65 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Abidan the son of Gidoni.
| ביום העשירי נשיא לבני דן אחיעזר בן עמישדי׃ | 66 |
On the tenth day Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai, the prince of the children of Dan, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 67 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 68 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense:
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 69 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 70 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן אחיעזר בן עמישדי׃ | 71 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Achiezer the son of 'Ammishaddai.
| ביום עשתי עשר יום נשיא לבני אשר פגעיאל בן עכרן׃ | 72 |
On the eleventh day Pagiel the son of 'Ochran, the prince of the children of Asher, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 73 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 74 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 75 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 76 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן פגעיאל בן עכרן׃ | 77 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Pagiel the son of 'Ochran.
| ביום שנים עשר יום נשיא לבני נפתלי אחירע בן עינן׃ | 78 |
On the twelfth day Achira the son of 'Enan, the prince of the children of Naphtali, [did offer]:
| קרבנו קערת כסף אחת שלשים ומאה משקלה מזרק אחד כסף שבעים שקל בשקל הקדש שניהם מלאים סלת בלולה בשמן למנחה׃ | 79 |
His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering;
| כף אחת עשרה זהב מלאה קטרת׃ | 80 |
One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense;
| פר אחד בן בקר איל אחד כבש אחד בן שנתו לעלה׃ | 81 |
One young bullock, one ram, one sheep of the first year, for a burnt-offering;
| שעיר עזים אחד לחטאת׃ | 82 |
One he-goat for a sin-offering;
| ולזבח השלמים בקר שנים אילם חמשה עתדים חמשה כבשים בני שנה חמשה זה קרבן אחירע בן עינן׃ | 83 |
And for a sacrifice of peace-offering, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five sheep of the first year; this was the offering of Achira the son of 'Enan.
| זאת חנכת המזבח ביום המשח אתו מאת נשיאי ישראל קערת כסף שתים עשרה מזרקי כסף שנים עשר כפות זהב שתים עשרה׃ | 84 |
This was the dedication-offering of the altar, on the day when it was anointed, from the princes of Israel: Twelve silver chargers, twelve silver bowls, twelve golden spoons;
| שלשים ומאה הקערה האחת כסף ושבעים המזרק האחד כל כסף הכלים אלפים וארבע מאות בשקל הקדש׃ | 85 |
A hundred and thirty shekels was the weight of each silver charger, and seventy of each bowl; the silver of all the vessels was two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary;
| כפות זהב שתים עשרה מלאת קטרת עשרה עשרה הכף בשקל הקדש כל זהב הכפות עשרים ומאה׃ | 86 |
Twelve golden spoons, full of incense; ten shekels was the weight of each spoon, after the shekel of the sanctuary; all the gold of the spoons was a hundred and twenty shekels.
| כל הבקר לעלה שנים עשר פרים אילם שנים עשר כבשים בני שנה שנים עשר ומנחתם ושעירי עזים שנים עשר לחטאת׃ | 87 |
all the oxen for the burnt-offering were twelve bullocks, the rams were twelve, the sheep of the first year twelve, with their meat-offering; and the he-goats for sin-offering were twelve.
| וכל בקר זבח השלמים עשרים וארבעה פרים אילם ששים עתדים ששים כבשים בני שנה ששים זאת חנכת המזבח אחרי המשח אתו׃ | 88 |
And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace-offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams were sixty, the he-goats sixty, the sheep of the first year sixty: this was the dedication offering of the altar, after it had been anointed.
| ובבא משה אל אהל מועד לדבר אתו וישמע את הקול מדבר אליו מעל הכפרת אשר על ארן העדת מבין שני הכרבים וידבר אליו׃ | 89 |
And when Moses went into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with Him, then heard he the voice speaking unto him from off the mercy-seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubim: and thus he spoke unto him.
