איוב 25

1 ויען בלדד השחי ויאמר׃

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

2 המשל ופחד עמו עשה שלום במרומיו׃

Dominion and fear are with him, he makes peace in his high places.

3 היש מספר לגדודיו ועל מי לא יקום אורהו׃

Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom does not his light arise?

4 ומה יצדק אנוש עם אל ומה יזכה ילוד אשה׃

How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

5 הן עד ירח ולא יאהיל וכוכבים לא זכו בעיניו׃

Behold even to the moon, and it shines not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

6 אף כי אנוש רמה ובן אדם תולעה׃

How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
