ישעה 32

1 הן לצדק ימלך מלך ולשרים למשפט ישרו׃

look! to/for righteousness to reign king and to/for ruler to/for justice to rule

2 והיה איש כמחבא רוח וסתר זרם כפלגי מים בציון כצל סלע כבד בארץ עיפה׃

and to be man: anyone like/as hiding-place spirit: breath and secrecy storm like/as stream water in/on/with dryness like/as shadow crag heavy in/on/with land: country/planet faint

3 ולא תשעינה עיני ראים ואזני שמעים תקשבנה׃

and not to gaze eye to see: see and ear to hear: hear to listen

4 ולבב נמהרים יבין לדעת ולשון עלגים תמהר לדבר צחות׃

and heart to hasten to understand to/for knowledge and tongue stammerer to hasten to/for to speak: speak dazzling

5 לא יקרא עוד לנבל נדיב ולכילי לא יאמר שוע׃

not to call: call by still to/for foolish noble and to/for rogue not to say rich

6 כי נבל נבלה ידבר ולבו יעשה און לעשות חנף ולדבר אל יהוה תועה להריק נפש רעב ומשקה צמא יחסיר׃

for foolish folly to speak: speak and heart his to make: do evil: wickedness to/for to make: do profaneness and to/for to speak: speak to(wards) LORD error to/for to empty soul: appetite hungry and irrigation thirsty to lack

7 וכלי כליו רעים הוא זמות יעץ לחבל ענוים באמרי שקר ובדבר אביון משפט׃

and rogue article/utensil his bad: evil he/she/it wickedness to advise to/for to destroy (afflicted *Q(K)*) in/on/with word deception and in/on/with to speak: speak needy justice

8 ונדיב נדיבות יעץ והוא על נדיבות יקום׃

and noble noble to advise and he/she/it upon noble to arise: establish

9 נשים שאננות קמנה שמענה קולי בנות בטחות האזנה אמרתי׃

woman secure to arise: rise to hear: hear voice my daughter to trust to listen word my

10 ימים על שנה תרגזנה בטחות כי כלה בציר אסף בלי יבוא׃

day upon year to tremble to trust for to end: expend vintage gathering without to come (in): come

11 חרדו שאננות רגזה בטחות פשטה וערה וחגורה על חלצים׃

to tremble secure to tremble to trust to strip and to strip and to gird upon loin

12 על שדים ספדים על שדי חמד על גפן פריה׃

upon breast to mourn upon land: country delight upon vine be fruitful

13 על אדמת עמי קוץ שמיר תעלה כי על כל בתי משוש קריה עליזה׃

upon land: soil people my thorn thorn to ascend: rise for upon all house: household rejoicing town jubilant

14 כי ארמון נטש המון עיר עזב עפל ובחן היה בעד מערות עד עולם משוש פראים מרעה עדרים׃

for citadel: palace to leave crowd city to leave: forsake hill and watchtower to be about/through/for cave till forever: enduring rejoicing wild donkey pasture flock

15 עד יערה עלינו רוח ממרום והיה מדבר לכרמל וכרמל ליער יחשב׃

till to uncover upon us spirit from height and to be wilderness to/for plantation (and [the] plantation *Q(K)*) to/for wood to devise: think

16 ושכן במדבר משפט וצדקה בכרמל תשב׃

and to dwell in/on/with wilderness justice and righteousness in/on/with plantation to dwell

17 והיה מעשה הצדקה שלום ועבדת הצדקה השקט ובטח עד עולם׃

and to be deed [the] righteousness peace and service: work [the] righteousness to quiet and security till forever: enduring

18 וישב עמי בנוה שלום ובמשכנות מבטחים ובמנוחת שאננות׃

and to dwell people my in/on/with pasture peace and in/on/with tabernacle confidence and in/on/with resting secure

19 וברד ברדת היער ובשפלה תשפל העיר׃

and to hail in/on/with to go down [the] wood and in/on/with humiliation to abase [the] city

20 אשריכם זרעי על כל מים משלחי רגל השור והחמור׃

blessed you to sow upon all water to send: let go foot [the] cattle and [the] donkey
