מלכים ב 21

1 בן שתים עשרה שנה מנשה במלכו וחמשים וחמש שנה מלך בירושלם ושם אמו חפצי בה׃

son: aged two ten year Manasseh in/on/with to reign he and fifty and five year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem and name mother his Hephzibah Hephzibah

2 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה כתועבת הגוים אשר הוריש יהוה מפני בני ישראל׃

and to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD like/as abomination [the] nation which to possess: take LORD from face: before son: descendant/people Israel

3 וישב ויבן את הבמות אשר אבד חזקיהו אביו ויקם מזבחת לבעל ויעש אשרה כאשר עשה אחאב מלך ישראל וישתחו לכל צבא השמים ויעבד אתם׃

and to return: rescue and to build [obj] [the] high place which to perish Hezekiah father his and to arise: raise altar to/for Baal and to make Asherah like/as as which to make: do Ahab king Israel and to bow to/for all army [the] heaven and to serve: minister [obj] them

4 ובנה מזבחת בבית יהוה אשר אמר יהוה בירושלם אשים את שמי׃

and to build altar in/on/with house: temple LORD which to say LORD in/on/with Jerusalem to set: put [obj] name my

5 ויבן מזבחות לכל צבא השמים בשתי חצרות בית יהוה׃

and to build altar to/for all army [the] heaven in/on/with two court house: temple LORD

6 והעביר את בנו באש ועונן ונחש ועשה אוב וידענים הרבה לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיס׃

and to pass [obj] son: child his in/on/with fire and to divine and to divine and to make: do medium and spiritist to multiply to/for to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD to/for to provoke

7 וישם את פסל האשרה אשר עשה בבית אשר אמר יהוה אל דוד ואל שלמה בנו בבית הזה ובירושלם אשר בחרתי מכל שבטי ישראל אשים את שמי לעולם׃

8 ולא אסיף להניד רגל ישראל מן האדמה אשר נתתי לאבותם רק אם ישמרו לעשות ככל אשר צויתים ולכל התורה אשר צוה אתם עבדי משה׃

and not to add: again to/for to wander foot Israel from [the] land: soil which to give: give to/for father their except if to keep: careful to/for to make: do like/as all which to command them and to/for all [the] instruction which to command [obj] them servant/slave my Moses

9 ולא שמעו ויתעם מנשה לעשות את הרע מן הגוים אשר השמיד יהוה מפני בני ישראל׃

10 וידבר יהוה ביד עבדיו הנביאים לאמר׃

11 יען אשר עשה מנשה מלך יהודה התעבות האלה הרע מכל אשר עשו האמרי אשר לפניו ויחטא גם את יהודה בגלוליו׃

12 לכן כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל הנני מביא רעה על ירושלם ויהודה אשר כל שמעיו תצלנה שתי אזניו׃

13 ונטיתי על ירושלם את קו שמרון ואת משקלת בית אחאב ומחיתי את ירושלם כאשר ימחה את הצלחת מחה והפך על פניה׃

and to stretch upon Jerusalem [obj] line Samaria and [obj] level house: household Ahab and to wipe [obj] Jerusalem like/as as which to wipe [obj] [the] dish to wipe and to overturn upon face her

14 ונטשתי את שארית נחלתי ונתתים ביד איביהם והיו לבז ולמשסה לכל איביהם׃

and to leave [obj] remnant inheritance my and to give: give them in/on/with hand: power enemy their and to be to/for plunder and to/for plunder to/for all enemy their

15 יען אשר עשו את הרע בעיני ויהיו מכעסים אתי מן היום אשר יצאו אבותם ממצרים ועד היום הזה׃

16 וגם דם נקי שפך מנשה הרבה מאד עד אשר מלא את ירושלם פה לפה לבד מחטאתו אשר החטיא את יהודה לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה׃

17 ויתר דברי מנשה וכל אשר עשה וחטאתו אשר חטא הלא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי יהודה׃

18 וישכב מנשה עם אבתיו ויקבר בגן ביתו בגן עזא וימלך אמון בנו תחתיו׃

19 בן עשרים ושתים שנה אמון במלכו ושתים שנים מלך בירושלם ושם אמו משלמת בת חרוץ מן יטבה׃

20 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה כאשר עשה מנשה אביו׃

21 וילך בכל הדרך אשר הלך אביו ויעבד את הגללים אשר עבד אביו וישתחו להם׃

22 ויעזב את יהוה אלהי אבתיו ולא הלך בדרך יהוה׃

23 ויקשרו עבדי אמון עליו וימיתו את המלך בביתו׃

and to conspire servant/slave Amon upon him and to die [obj] [the] king in/on/with house: home his

24 ויך עם הארץ את כל הקשרים על המלך אמון וימליכו עם הארץ את יאשיהו בנו תחתיו׃

25 ויתר דברי אמון אשר עשה הלא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי יהודה׃

26 ויקבר אתו בקברתו בגן עזא וימלך יאשיהו בנו תחתיו׃
