2 דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים 30

1 וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח יְחִזְקִיָּ֜הוּ עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל וִֽיהוּדָ֗ה וְגַֽם־אִגְּרוֹת֙ כָּתַב֙ עַל־אֶפְרַ֣יִם וּמְנַשֶּׁ֔ה לָב֥וֹא לְבֵית־יְהוָ֖ה בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת פֶּ֔סַח לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and to send: depart Hezekiah upon all Israel and Judah and also letter to write upon Ephraim and Manasseh to/for to come (in): come to/for house: temple LORD in/on/with Jerusalem to/for to make: do Passover to/for LORD God Israel

2 וַיִּוָּעַ֨ץ הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ וְשָׂרָ֛יו וְכָל־הַקָּהָ֖ל בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הַפֶּ֖סַח בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃

and to advise [the] king and ruler his and all [the] assembly in/on/with Jerusalem to/for to make: do [the] Passover in/on/with month [the] second

3 כִּ֣י לֹ֧א יָכְל֛וּ לַעֲשֹׂת֖וֹ בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֑יא כִּ֤י הַכֹּהֲנִים֙ לֹֽא־הִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּ לְמַדַּ֔י וְהָעָ֖ם לֹא־נֶאֶסְפ֥וּ לִֽירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

for not be able to/for to make: do him in/on/with time [the] he/she/it for [the] priest not to consecrate: consecate to/for what? sufficiency and [the] people not to gather to/for Jerusalem

4 וַיִּישַׁ֥ר הַדָּבָ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וּבְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־הַקָּהָֽל׃

and to smooth [the] word: thing in/on/with eye: appearance [the] king and in/on/with eye: appearance all [the] assembly

5 וַיַּֽעֲמִ֣ידוּ דָבָ֗ר לְהַעֲבִ֨יר ק֤וֹל בְּכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מִבְּאֵֽר־שֶׁ֣בַע וְעַד־דָּ֔ן לָב֞וֹא לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת פֶּ֛סַח לַיהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם כִּ֣י לֹ֥א לָרֹ֛ב עָשׂ֖וּ כַּכָּתֽוּב׃

and to stand: appoint word: promised to/for to pass voice: message in/on/with all Israel from Beersheba Beersheba and till Dan to/for to come (in): come to/for to make: do Passover to/for LORD God Israel in/on/with Jerusalem for not to/for abundance to make: do like/as to write

6 וַיֵּלְכוּ֩ הָרָצִ֨ים בָּֽאִגְּר֜וֹת מִיַּ֧ד הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ וְשָׂרָ֗יו בְּכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה וּכְמִצְוַ֥ת הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ לֵאמֹ֑ר בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל שׁ֚וּבוּ אֶל־יְהוָ֗ה אֱלֹהֵי֙ אַבְרָהָם֙ יִצְחָ֣ק וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְיָשֹׁב֙ אֶל־הַפְּלֵיטָ֔ה הַנִּשְׁאֶ֣רֶת לָכֶ֔ם מִכַּ֖ף מַלְכֵ֥י אַשּֽׁוּר׃

and to go: went [the] to run: run in/on/with letter from hand: to [the] king and ruler his in/on/with all Israel and Judah and like/as commandment [the] king to/for to say son: descendant/people Israel to return: return to(wards) LORD God Abraham Isaac and Israel and to return: return to(wards) [the] survivor [the] to remain to/for you from palm king Assyria

7 וְאַל־תִּֽהְי֗וּ כַּאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ וְכַ֣אֲחֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָעֲל֔וּ בַּיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם וַיִּתְּנֵ֣ם לְשַׁמָּ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר אַתֶּ֥ם רֹאִֽים׃

and not to be like/as father your and like/as brother: male-sibling your which be unfaithful in/on/with LORD God father their and to give: make them to/for horror: destroyed like/as as which you(m. p.) to see: see

8 עַתָּ֕ה אַל־תַּקְשׁ֥וּ עָרְפְּכֶ֖ם כַּאֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם תְּנוּ־יָ֣ד לַיהוָ֗ה וּבֹ֤אוּ לְמִקְדָּשׁוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִקְדִּ֣ישׁ לְעוֹלָ֔ם וְעִבְדוּ֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם וְיָשֹׁ֥ב מִכֶּ֖ם חֲר֥וֹן אַפּֽוֹ׃

now not to harden neck your like/as father your to give: give hand: themselves to/for LORD and to come (in): come to/for sanctuary his which to consecrate: consecate to/for forever: enduring and to serve: minister [obj] LORD God your and to return: return from you burning anger face: anger his

9 כִּ֣י בְשׁוּבְכֶ֞ם עַל־יְהוָ֗ה אֲחֵיכֶ֨ם וּבְנֵיכֶ֤ם לְרַחֲמִים֙ לִפְנֵ֣י שֽׁוֹבֵיהֶ֔ם וְלָשׁ֖וּב לָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את כִּֽי־חַנּ֤וּן וְרַחוּם֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם וְלֹא־יָסִ֤יר פָּנִים֙ מִכֶּ֔ם אִם־תָּשׁ֖וּבוּ אֵלָֽיו׃ פ

for in/on/with to return: return you upon LORD brother: male-sibling your and son: child your to/for compassion to/for face: before to take captive them and to/for to return: return to/for land: country/planet [the] this for gracious and compassionate LORD God your and not to turn aside: turn aside face from you if to return: return to(wards) him

10 וַיִּֽהְי֨וּ הָרָצִ֜ים עֹבְרִ֨ים מֵעִ֧יר ׀ לָעִ֛יר בְּאֶֽרֶץ־אֶפְרַ֥יִם וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה וְעַד־זְבֻל֑וּן וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙ מַשְׂחִיקִ֣ים עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וּמַלְעִגִ֖ים בָּֽם׃

and to be [the] to run: run to pass from city to/for city in/on/with land: country/planet Ephraim and Manasseh and till Zebulun and to be to laugh upon them and to mock in/on/with them

11 אַךְ־אֲנָשִׁ֛ים מֵאָשֵׁ֥ר וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה וּמִזְּבֻל֑וּן נִֽכְנְע֔וּ וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ לִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

surely human from Asher and Manasseh and from Zebulun be humble and to come (in): come to/for Jerusalem

12 גַּ֣ם בִּיהוּדָ֗ה הָֽיְתָה֙ יַ֣ד הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים לָתֵ֥ת לָהֶ֖ם לֵ֣ב אֶחָ֑ד לַעֲשׂ֞וֹת מִצְוַ֥ת הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ וְהַשָּׂרִ֖ים בִּדְבַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

also in/on/with Judah to be hand: power [the] God to/for to give: give to/for them heart one to/for to make: do commandment [the] king and [the] ruler in/on/with word LORD

13 וַיֵּֽאָסְפ֤וּ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ עַם־רָ֔ב לַעֲשׂ֛וֹת אֶת־חַ֥ג הַמַּצּ֖וֹת בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֑י קָהָ֖ל לָרֹ֥ב מְאֹֽד׃

and to gather Jerusalem people many to/for to make: do [obj] feast [the] unleavened bread in/on/with month [the] second assembly to/for abundance much

14 וַיָּקֻ֕מוּ וַיָּסִ֙ירוּ֙ אֶת־הַֽמִּזְבְּח֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֖ר בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְאֵ֤ת כָּל־הַֽמְקַטְּרוֹת֙ הֵסִ֔ירוּ וַיַּשְׁלִ֖יכוּ לְנַ֥חַל קִדְרֽוֹן׃

and to arise: establish and to turn aside: remove [obj] [the] altar which in/on/with Jerusalem and [obj] all [the] incense-altar to turn aside: remove and to throw to/for torrent: valley Kidron

15 וַיִּשְׁחֲט֣וּ הַפֶּ֔סַח בְּאַרְבָּעָ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֑י וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֤ם נִכְלְמוּ֙ וַיִּֽתְקַדְּשׁ֔וּ וַיָּבִ֥יאוּ עֹל֖וֹת בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃

and to slaughter [the] Passover in/on/with four ten to/for month [the] second and [the] priest and [the] Levi be humiliated and to consecrate: consecate and to come (in): bring burnt offering house: temple LORD

16 וַיַּֽעַמְד֤וּ עַל־עָמְדָם֙ כְּמִשְׁפָּטָ֔ם כְּתוֹרַ֖ת מֹשֶׁ֣ה אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ זֹרְקִ֣ים אֶת־הַדָּ֔ם מִיַּ֖ד הַלְוִיִּֽם׃

and to stand: stand upon post their like/as justice: custom their like/as instruction Moses man [the] God [the] priest to scatter [obj] [the] blood from hand [the] Levi

17 כִּי־רַבַּ֥ת בַּקָּהָ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־הִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּ וְהַלְוִיִּ֞ם עַל־שְׁחִיטַ֣ת הַפְּסָחִ֗ים לְכֹל֙ לֹ֣א טָה֔וֹר לְהַקְדִּ֖ישׁ לַיהוָֽה׃

for many in/on/with assembly which not to consecrate: consecate and [the] Levi upon slaughtering [the] Passover to/for all not pure to/for to consecrate: consecate to/for LORD

18 כִּ֣י מַרְבִּ֣ית הָעָ֡ם רַ֠בַּת מֵֽאֶפְרַ֨יִם וּמְנַשֶּׁ֜ה יִשָּׂשכָ֤ר וּזְבֻלוּן֙ לֹ֣א הִטֶּהָ֔רוּ כִּֽי־אָכְל֥וּ אֶת־הַפֶּ֖סַח בְּלֹ֣א כַכָּת֑וּב כִּי֩ הִתְפַּלֵּ֨ל יְחִזְקִיָּ֤הוּ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר יְהוָ֥ה הַטּ֖וֹב יְכַפֵּ֥ר בְּעַֽד׃

for greatness [the] people many from Ephraim and Manasseh Issachar and Zebulun not be pure for to eat [obj] [the] Passover in/on/with not like/as to write for to pray Hezekiah upon them to/for to say LORD [the] pleasant to atone about/through/for

19 כָּל־לְבָב֣וֹ הֵכִ֔ין לִדְר֛וֹשׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֥ים ׀ יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבוֹתָ֑יו וְלֹ֖א כְּטָהֳרַ֥ת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ ס

all heart his to establish: establish to/for to seek [the] God LORD God father his and not like/as purifying [the] holiness

20 וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע יְהוָה֙ אֶל־יְחִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ וַיִּרְפָּ֖א אֶת־הָעָֽם׃ ס

and to hear: hear LORD to(wards) Hezekiah and to heal [obj] [the] people

21 וַיַּעֲשׂ֣וּ בְנֵֽי־יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל הַנִּמְצְאִ֨ים בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֜ם אֶת־חַ֧ג הַמַּצּ֛וֹת שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים בְּשִׂמְחָ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֑ה וּֽמְהַלְלִ֣ים לַ֠יהוָה י֣וֹם ׀ בְּי֞וֹם הַלְוִיִּ֧ם וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים בִּכְלֵי־עֹ֖ז לַיהוָֽה׃ ס

and to make: do son: descendant/people Israel [the] to find (in/on/with Jerusalem *L(abh)*) [obj] feast [the] unleavened bread seven day in/on/with joy great: large and to boast: praise to/for LORD day: daily in/on/with day: daily [the] Levi and [the] priest in/on/with article/utensil strength to/for LORD

22 וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְחִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ עַל־לֵב֙ כָּל־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם הַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֥ים שֵֽׂכֶל־ט֖וֹב לַיהוָ֑ה וַיֹּאכְל֤וּ אֶת־הַמּוֹעֵד֙ שִׁבְעַ֣ת הַיָּמִ֔ים מְזַבְּחִים֙ זִבְחֵ֣י שְׁלָמִ֔ים וּמִ֨תְוַדִּ֔ים לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י אֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ ס

and to speak: speak Hezekiah upon heart all [the] Levi [the] be prudent understanding pleasant to/for LORD and to eat [obj] [the] meeting: festival seven [the] day to sacrifice sacrifice peace offering and to give thanks to/for LORD God father their

23 וַיִּוָּֽעֲצוּ֙ כָּל־הַקָּהָ֔ל לַעֲשׂ֕וֹת שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּ שִׁבְעַת־יָמִ֖ים שִׂמְחָֽה׃

and to advise all [the] assembly to/for to make: do seven day another and to make: do seven day joy

24 כִּ֣י חִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־יְ֠הוּדָה הֵרִ֨ים לַקָּהָ֜ל אֶ֣לֶף פָּרִים֮ וְשִׁבְעַ֣ת אֲלָפִ֣ים צֹאן֒ ס וְהַשָּׂרִ֞ים הֵרִ֤ימוּ לַקָּהָל֙ פָּרִ֣ים אֶ֔לֶף וְצֹ֖אן עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת אֲלָפִ֑ים וַיִּֽתְקַדְּשׁ֥וּ כֹהֲנִ֖ים לָרֹֽב׃

for Hezekiah king Judah to exalt to/for assembly thousand bullock and seven thousand flock and [the] ruler to exalt to/for assembly bullock thousand and flock ten thousand and to consecrate: consecate priest to/for abundance

25 וַֽיִּשְׂמְח֣וּ ׀ כָּל־קְהַ֣ל יְהוּדָ֗ה וְהַכֹּהֲנִים֙ וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם וְכָל־הַקָּהָ֖ל הַבָּאִ֣ים מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהַגֵּרִ֗ים הַבָּאִים֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְהַיּוֹשְׁבִ֖ים בִּיהוּדָֽה׃

and to rejoice all assembly Judah and [the] priest and [the] Levi and all [the] assembly [the] to come (in): come from Israel and [the] sojourner [the] to come (in): come from land: country/planet Israel and [the] to dwell in/on/with Judah

26 וַתְּהִ֥י שִׂמְחָֽה־גְדוֹלָ֖ה בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם כִּ֠י מִימֵ֞י שְׁלֹמֹ֤ה בֶן־דָּוִיד֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹ֥א כָזֹ֖את בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ס

and to be joy great: large in/on/with Jerusalem for from day Solomon son: child David king Israel not like/as this in/on/with Jerusalem

27 וַיָּקֻ֜מוּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים הַלְוִיִּם֙ וַיְבָרֲכ֣וּ אֶת־הָעָ֔ם וַיִּשָּׁמַ֖ע בְּקוֹלָ֑ם וַתָּב֧וֹא תְפִלָּתָ֛ם לִמְע֥וֹן קָדְשׁ֖וֹ לַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ פ

and to arise: rise [the] priest [the] Levi and to bless [obj] [the] people and to hear: hear in/on/with voice their and to come (in): come prayer their to/for habitation holiness his to/for heaven
