| לְדָוִד ׀ רִיבָה יְהוָה אֶת־יְרִיבַי לְחַם אֶת־לֹֽחֲמָֽי׃ | 1 |
to/for David to contend [emph?] LORD with opponent my to fight with to fight me
| הַחֲזֵק מָגֵן וְצִנָּה וְקוּמָה בְּעֶזְרָתִֽי׃ | 2 |
to strengthen: hold shield and shield and to arise: rise [emph?] in/on/with help my
| וְהָרֵק חֲנִית וּסְגֹר לִקְרַאת רֹדְפָי אֱמֹר לְנַפְשִׁי יְֽשֻׁעָתֵךְ אָֽנִי׃ | 3 |
and to empty spear and to shut to/for to encounter: toward to pursue me to say to/for soul my salvation your I
| יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִכָּלְמוּ מְבַקְשֵׁי נַפְשִׁי יִסֹּגוּ אָחוֹר וְיַחְפְּרוּ חֹשְׁבֵי רָעָתִֽי׃ | 4 |
be ashamed and be humiliated to seek soul: life my to turn back and be ashamed to devise: devise distress: evil my
| יִֽהְיוּ כְּמֹץ לִפְנֵי־רוּחַ וּמַלְאַךְ יְהוָה דּוֹחֶֽה׃ | 5 |
to be like/as chaff to/for face: before spirit: breath and messenger: angel LORD to thrust
| יְֽהִי־דַרְכָּם חֹשֶׁךְ וַחֲלַקְלַקּוֹת וּמַלְאַךְ יְהוָה רֹדְפָֽם׃ | 6 |
to be way: conduct their darkness and smoothness and messenger: angel LORD to pursue them
| כִּֽי־חִנָּם טָֽמְנוּ־לִי שַׁחַת רִשְׁתָּם חִנָּם חָפְרוּ לְנַפְשִֽׁי׃ | 7 |
for for nothing to hide to/for me pit: grave net their for nothing to search to/for soul: life my
| תְּבוֹאֵהוּ שׁוֹאָה לֹֽא־יֵדָע וְרִשְׁתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר־טָמַן תִּלְכְּדוֹ בְּשׁוֹאָה יִפָּל־בָּֽהּ׃ | 8 |
to come (in): come him devastation not to know and net his which to hide to capture him in/on/with devastation to fall: fall in/on/with her
| וְנַפְשִׁי תָּגִיל בַּיהוָה תָּשִׂישׂ בִּישׁוּעָתֽוֹ׃ | 9 |

| כָּל עַצְמוֹתַי ׀ תֹּאמַרְנָה יְהוָה מִי כָמוֹךָ מַצִּיל עָנִי מֵחָזָק מִמֶּנּוּ וְעָנִי וְאֶבְיוֹן מִגֹּזְלֽוֹ׃ | 10 |
all bone my to say LORD who? like you to rescue afflicted from strong from him and afflicted and needy from to plunder him
| יְקוּמוּן עֵדֵי חָמָס אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָדַעְתִּי יִשְׁאָלֽוּנִי׃ | 11 |
to arise: rise [emph?] witness violence which not to know to ask me
| יְשַׁלְּמוּנִי רָעָה תַּחַת טוֹבָה שְׁכוֹל לְנַפְשִֽׁי׃ | 12 |

| וַאֲנִי ׀ בַּחֲלוֹתָם לְבוּשִׁי שָׂק עִנֵּיתִי בַצּוֹם נַפְשִׁי וּתְפִלָּתִי עַל־חֵיקִי תָשֽׁוּב׃ | 13 |

| כְּרֵֽעַ־כְּאָח לִי הִתְהַלָּכְתִּי כַּאֲבֶל־אֵם קֹדֵר שַׁחֽוֹתִי׃ | 14 |
like/as neighbor like/as brother: male-sibling to/for me to go: walk like/as mourning mother be dark to bow
| וּבְצַלְעִי שָׂמְחוּ וְֽנֶאֱסָפוּ נֶאֶסְפוּ עָלַי נֵכִים וְלֹא יָדַעְתִּי קָֽרְעוּ וְלֹא־דָֽמּוּ׃ | 15 |
and in/on/with stumbling my to rejoice and to gather to gather upon me smitten and not to know to tear and not to silence: stationary
| בְּחַנְפֵי לַעֲגֵי מָעוֹג חָרֹק עָלַי שִׁנֵּֽימוֹ׃ | 16 |

| אֲדֹנָי כַּמָּה תִרְאֶה הָשִׁיבָה נַפְשִׁי מִשֹּׁאֵיהֶם מִכְּפִירִים יְחִידָתִֽי׃ | 17 |

| אוֹדְךָ בְּקָהָל רָב בְּעַם עָצוּם אֲהַֽלְלֶֽךָּ׃ | 18 |

| אַֽל־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִי אֹיְבַי שֶׁקֶר שֹׂנְאַי חִנָּם יִקְרְצוּ־עָֽיִן׃ | 19 |
not to rejoice to/for me enemy my deception to hate me for nothing to wink eye
| כִּי לֹא שָׁלוֹם יְדַבֵּרוּ וְעַל רִגְעֵי־אֶרֶץ דִּבְרֵי מִרְמוֹת יַחֲשֹׁבֽוּן׃ | 20 |
for not peace to speak: speak and upon restful land: country/planet word deceit to devise: design [emph?]
| וַיַּרְחִיבוּ עָלַי פִּיהֶם אָמְרוּ הֶאָח ׀ הֶאָח רָאֲתָה עֵינֵֽינוּ׃ | 21 |

| רָאִיתָה יְהוָה אַֽל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ אֲדֹנָי אֲל־תִּרְחַק מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ | 22 |

| הָעִירָה וְהָקִיצָה לְמִשְׁפָּטִי אֱלֹהַי וַֽאדֹנָי לְרִיבִֽי׃ | 23 |
to rouse [emph?] and to awake [emph?] to/for justice: judgement my God my and Lord to/for strife my
| שָׁפְטֵנִי כְצִדְקְךָ יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי וְאַל־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִֽי׃ | 24 |
to judge me like/as righteousness your LORD God my and not to rejoice to/for me
| אַל־יֹאמְרוּ בְלִבָּם הֶאָח נַפְשֵׁנוּ אַל־יֹאמְרוּ בִּֽלַּעֲנֽוּהוּ׃ | 25 |
not to say in/on/with heart their Aha! soul our not to say to swallow up him
| יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ ׀ יַחְדָּו שְׂמֵחֵי רָעָתִי יִֽלְבְּשׁוּ־בֹשֶׁת וּכְלִמָּה הַֽמַּגְדִּילִים עָלָֽי׃ | 26 |

| יָרֹנּוּ וְיִשְׂמְחוּ חֲפֵצֵי צִדְקִי וְיֹאמְרוּ תָמִיד יִגְדַּל יְהוָה הֶחָפֵץ שְׁלוֹם עַבְדּֽוֹ׃ | 27 |
to sing and to rejoice delighting righteousness my and to say continually to magnify LORD [the] delighting peace: well-being servant/slave his
| וּלְשׁוֹנִי תֶּהְגֶּה צִדְקֶךָ כָּל־הַיּוֹם תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃ | 28 |
and tongue my to mutter righteousness your all [the] day praise your
