תהילים 119
| אַשְׁרֵי תְמִֽימֵי־דָרֶךְ הַֽהֹלְכִים בְּתוֹרַת יְהוָֽה׃ | 1 |
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
| אַשְׁרֵי נֹצְרֵי עֵדֹתָיו בְּכָל־לֵב יִדְרְשֽׁוּהוּ׃ | 2 |
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
| אַף לֹֽא־פָעֲלוּ עַוְלָה בִּדְרָכָיו הָלָֽכוּ׃ | 3 |
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
| אַתָּה צִוִּיתָה פִקֻּדֶיךָ לִשְׁמֹר מְאֹֽד׃ | 4 |
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
| אַחֲלַי יִכֹּנוּ דְרָכָי לִשְׁמֹר חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 5 |
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
| אָז לֹא־אֵבוֹשׁ בְּהַבִּיטִי אֶל־כָּל־מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃ | 6 |
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all thy commandments.
| אוֹדְךָ בְּיֹשֶׁר לֵבָב בְּלָמְדִי מִשְׁפְּטֵי צִדְקֶֽךָ׃ | 7 |
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
| אֶת־חֻקֶּיךָ אֶשְׁמֹר אַֽל־תַּעַזְבֵנִי עַד־מְאֹֽד׃ | 8 |
I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
| בַּמֶּה יְזַכֶּה־נַּעַר אֶת־אָרְחוֹ לִשְׁמֹר כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 9 |
How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed to it according to thy word.
| בְּכָל־לִבִּי דְרַשְׁתִּיךָ אַל־תַּשְׁגֵּנִי מִמִּצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃ | 10 |
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
| בְּלִבִּי צָפַנְתִּי אִמְרָתֶךָ לְמַעַן לֹא אֶֽחֱטָא־לָֽךְ׃ | 11 |
Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
| בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְהוָה לַמְּדֵנִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 12 |
Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
| בִּשְׂפָתַי סִפַּרְתִּי כֹּל מִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִֽיךָ׃ | 13 |
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
| בְּדֶרֶךְ עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ שַּׂשְׂתִּי כְּעַל כָּל־הֽוֹן׃ | 14 |
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
| בְּפִקֻּדֶיךָ אָשִׂיחָה וְאַבִּיטָה אֹרְחֹתֶֽיךָ׃ | 15 |
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect to thy ways.
| בְּחֻקֹּתֶיךָ אֶֽשְׁתַּעֲשָׁע לֹא אֶשְׁכַּח דְּבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 16 |
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
| גְּמֹל עַֽל־עַבְדְּךָ אֶֽחְיֶה וְאֶשְׁמְרָה דְבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 17 |
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
| גַּל־עֵינַי וְאַבִּיטָה נִפְלָאוֹת מִתּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 18 |
Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
| גֵּר אָנֹכִי בָאָרֶץ אַל־תַּסְתֵּר מִמֶּנִּי מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃ | 19 |
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
| גָּרְסָה נַפְשִׁי לְתַאֲבָה אֶֽל־מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ בְכָל־עֵֽת׃ | 20 |
My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath to thy judgments at all times.
| גָּעַרְתָּ זֵדִים אֲרוּרִים הַשֹּׁגִים מִמִּצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃ | 21 |
Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, who do err from thy commandments.
| גַּל מֵֽעָלַי חֶרְפָּה וָבוּז כִּי עֵדֹתֶיךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃ | 22 |
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
| גַּם יָֽשְׁבוּ שָׂרִים בִּי נִדְבָּרוּ עַבְדְּךָ יָשִׂיחַ בְּחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 23 |
Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
| גַּֽם־עֵדֹתֶיךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָי אַנְשֵׁי עֲצָתִֽי׃ | 24 |
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.
| דָּֽבְקָה לֶעָפָר נַפְשִׁי חַיֵּנִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 25 |
My soul cleaveth to the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
| דְּרָכַי סִפַּרְתִּי וַֽתַּעֲנֵנִי לַמְּדֵנִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 26 |
I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
| דֶּֽרֶךְ־פִּקּוּדֶיךָ הֲבִינֵנִי וְאָשִׂיחָה בְּנִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ | 27 |
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
| דָּלְפָה נַפְשִׁי מִתּוּגָה קַיְּמֵנִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 28 |
My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according to thy word.
| דֶּֽרֶךְ־שֶׁקֶר הָסֵר מִמֶּנִּי וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ חָנֵּֽנִי׃ | 29 |
Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
| דֶּֽרֶךְ־אֱמוּנָה בָחָרְתִּי מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ שִׁוִּֽיתִי׃ | 30 |
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
| דָּבַקְתִּי בְעֵֽדְוֺתֶיךָ יְהוָה אַל־תְּבִישֵֽׁנִי׃ | 31 |
I have cleaved to thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
| דֶּֽרֶךְ־מִצְוֺתֶיךָ אָרוּץ כִּי תַרְחִיב לִבִּֽי׃ | 32 |
I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
| הוֹרֵנִי יְהוָה דֶּרֶךְ חֻקֶּיךָ וְאֶצְּרֶנָּה עֵֽקֶב׃ | 33 |
Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it to the end.
| הֲבִינֵנִי וְאֶצְּרָה תֽוֹרָתֶךָ וְאֶשְׁמְרֶנָּה בְכָל־לֵֽב׃ | 34 |
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
| הַדְרִיכֵנִי בִּנְתִיב מִצְוֺתֶיךָ כִּי־בוֹ חָפָֽצְתִּי׃ | 35 |
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for in that do I delight.
| הַט־לִבִּי אֶל־עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ וְאַל אֶל־בָּֽצַע׃ | 36 |
Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
| הַעֲבֵר עֵינַי מֵרְאוֹת שָׁוְא בִּדְרָכֶךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃ | 37 |
Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity; and revive thou me in thy way.
| הָקֵם לְעַבְדְּךָ אִמְרָתֶךָ אֲשֶׁר לְיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃ | 38 |
Establish thy word to thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
| הַעֲבֵר חֶרְפָּתִי אֲשֶׁר יָגֹרְתִּי כִּי מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ טוֹבִֽים׃ | 39 |
Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.
| הִנֵּה תָּאַבְתִּי לְפִקֻּדֶיךָ בְּצִדְקָתְךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃ | 40 |
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: revive me in thy righteousness.
| וִֽיבֹאֻנִי חֲסָדֶךָ יְהוָה תְּשֽׁוּעָתְךָ כְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 41 |
Let thy mercies come also to me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
| וְאֶֽעֱנֶה חֹרְפִי דָבָר כִּֽי־בָטַחְתִּי בִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 42 |
So shall I have that to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
| וְֽאַל־תַּצֵּל מִפִּי דְבַר־אֱמֶת עַד־מְאֹד כִּי לְמִשְׁפָּטֶךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃ | 43 |
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
| וְאֶשְׁמְרָה תוֹרָתְךָ תָמִיד לְעוֹלָם וָעֶֽד׃ | 44 |
So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
| וְאֶתְהַלְּכָה בָרְחָבָה כִּי פִקֻּדֶיךָ דָרָֽשְׁתִּי׃ | 45 |
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
| וַאֲדַבְּרָה בְעֵדֹתֶיךָ נֶגֶד מְלָכִים וְלֹא אֵבֽוֹשׁ׃ | 46 |
I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
| וְאֶשְׁתַּֽעֲשַׁע בְּמִצְוֺתֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר אָהָֽבְתִּי׃ | 47 |
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
| וְאֶשָּֽׂא־כַפַּי אֶֽל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר אָהָבְתִּי וְאָשִׂיחָה בְחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 48 |
My hands also will I lift to thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
| זְכֹר־דָּבָר לְעַבְדֶּךָ עַל אֲשֶׁר יִֽחַלְתָּֽנִי׃ | 49 |
Remember the word to thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
| זֹאת נֶחָמָתִי בְעָנְיִי כִּי אִמְרָתְךָ חִיָּֽתְנִי׃ | 50 |
This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath revived me.
| זֵדִים הֱלִיצֻנִי עַד־מְאֹד מִתּֽוֹרָתְךָ לֹא נָטִֽיתִי׃ | 51 |
The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet I have not declined from thy law.
| זָכַרְתִּי מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ מֵעוֹלָם ׀ יְהוָה וָֽאֶתְנֶחָֽם׃ | 52 |
I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
| זַלְעָפָה אֲחָזַתְנִי מֵרְשָׁעִים עֹזְבֵי תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 53 |
Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
| זְמִרוֹת הָֽיוּ־לִי חֻקֶּיךָ בְּבֵית מְגוּרָֽי׃ | 54 |
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
| זָכַרְתִּי בַלַּיְלָה שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה וָֽאֶשְׁמְרָה תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 55 |
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
| זֹאת הָֽיְתָה־לִּי כִּי פִקֻּדֶיךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃ | 56 |
This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
| חֶלְקִי יְהוָה אָמַרְתִּי לִשְׁמֹר דְּבָרֶֽיךָ׃ | 57 |
Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
| חִלִּיתִי פָנֶיךָ בְכָל־לֵב חָנֵּנִי כְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 58 |
I entreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful to me according to thy word.
| חִשַּׁבְתִּי דְרָכָי וָאָשִׁיבָה רַגְלַי אֶל־עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃ | 59 |
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
| חַשְׁתִּי וְלֹא הִתְמַהְמָהְתִּי לִשְׁמֹר מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃ | 60 |
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
| חֶבְלֵי רְשָׁעִים עִוְּדֻנִי תּֽוֹרָתְךָ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃ | 61 |
The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
| חֲצֽוֹת־לַיְלָה אָקוּם לְהוֹדוֹת לָךְ עַל מִשְׁפְּטֵי צִדְקֶֽךָ׃ | 62 |
At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee because of thy righteous judgments.
| חָבֵר אָנִי לְכָל־אֲשֶׁר יְרֵאוּךָ וּלְשֹׁמְרֵי פִּקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃ | 63 |
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
| חַסְדְּךָ יְהוָה מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ חֻקֶּיךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃ | 64 |
The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
| טוֹב עָשִׂיתָ עִֽם־עַבְדְּךָ יְהוָה כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 65 |
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according to thy word.
| טוּב טַעַם וָדַעַת לַמְּדֵנִי כִּי בְמִצְוֺתֶיךָ הֶאֱמָֽנְתִּי׃ | 66 |
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
| טֶרֶם אֶעֱנֶה אֲנִי שֹׁגֵג וְעַתָּה אִמְרָתְךָ שָׁמָֽרְתִּי׃ | 67 |
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
| טוֹב־אַתָּה וּמֵטִיב לַמְּדֵנִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 68 |
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
| טָפְלוּ עָלַי שֶׁקֶר זֵדִים אֲנִי בְּכָל־לֵב ׀ אֱצֹּר פִּקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃ | 69 |
The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
| טָפַשׁ כַּחֵלֶב לִבָּם אֲנִי תּוֹרָתְךָ שִֽׁעֲשָֽׁעְתִּי׃ | 70 |
Their heart is covered with fat; but I delight in thy law.
| טֽוֹב־לִי כִֽי־עֻנֵּיתִי לְמַעַן אֶלְמַד חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 71 |
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
| טֽוֹב־לִי תֽוֹרַת־פִּיךָ מֵאַלְפֵי זָהָב וָכָֽסֶף׃ | 72 |
The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
| יָדֶיךָ עָשׂוּנִי וַֽיְכוֹנְנוּנִי הֲבִינֵנִי וְאֶלְמְדָה מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃ | 73 |
Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
| יְרֵאֶיךָ יִרְאוּנִי וְיִשְׂמָחוּ כִּי לִדְבָרְךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃ | 74 |
They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
| יָדַעְתִּי יְהוָה כִּי־צֶדֶק מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ וֶאֱמוּנָה עִנִּיתָֽנִי׃ | 75 |
I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
| יְהִי־נָא חַסְדְּךָ לְנַחֲמֵנִי כְּאִמְרָתְךָ לְעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ | 76 |
Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word to thy servant.
| יְבֹאוּנִי רַחֲמֶיךָ וְאֶֽחְיֶה כִּי־תֽוֹרָתְךָ שַֽׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃ | 77 |
Let thy tender mercies come to me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
| יֵבֹשׁוּ זֵדִים כִּי־שֶׁקֶר עִוְּתוּנִי אֲנִי אָשִׂיחַ בְּפִקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃ | 78 |
Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
| יָשׁוּבוּ לִי יְרֵאֶיךָ וידעו וְיֹדְעֵי עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃ | 79 |
Let those that fear thee turn to me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
| יְהִֽי־לִבִּי תָמִים בְּחֻקֶּיךָ לְמַעַן לֹא אֵבֽוֹשׁ׃ | 80 |
Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I may not be ashamed.
| כָּלְתָה לִתְשׁוּעָתְךָ נַפְשִׁי לִדְבָרְךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃ | 81 |
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
| כָּלוּ עֵינַי לְאִמְרָתֶךָ לֵאמֹר מָתַי תְּֽנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃ | 82 |
My eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
| כִּֽי־הָיִיתִי כְּנֹאד בְּקִיטוֹר חֻקֶּיךָ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃ | 83 |
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet I do not forget thy statutes.
| כַּמָּה יְמֵֽי־עַבְדֶּךָ מָתַי תַּעֲשֶׂה בְרֹדְפַי מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ | 84 |
How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
| כָּֽרוּ־לִי זֵדִים שִׁיחוֹת אֲשֶׁר לֹא כְתוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 85 |
The proud have dug pits for me, which are not according to thy law.
| כָּל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָ אֱמוּנָה שֶׁקֶר רְדָפוּנִי עָזְרֵֽנִי׃ | 86 |
All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
| כִּמְעַט כִּלּוּנִי בָאָרֶץ וַאֲנִי לֹא־עָזַבְתִּי פִקֻּודֶֽיךָ׃ | 87 |
They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
| כְּחַסְדְּךָ חַיֵּנִי וְאֶשְׁמְרָה עֵדוּת פִּֽיךָ׃ | 88 |
Revive me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
| לְעוֹלָם יְהוָה דְּבָרְךָ נִצָּב בַּשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ | 89 |
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
| לְדֹר וָדֹר אֱמֽוּנָתֶךָ כּוֹנַנְתָּ אֶרֶץ וַֽתַּעֲמֹֽד׃ | 90 |
Thy faithfulness is to all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
| לְֽמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ עָמְדוּ הַיּוֹם כִּי הַכֹּל עֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃ | 91 |
They continue this day according to thy ordinances: for all are thy servants.
| לוּלֵי תוֹרָתְךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָי אָז אָבַדְתִּי בְעָנְיִֽי׃ | 92 |
Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction.
| לְעוֹלָם לֹא־אֶשְׁכַּח פִּקּוּדֶיךָ כִּי בָם חִיִּיתָֽנִי׃ | 93 |
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast revived me.
| לְֽךָ־אֲנִי הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי כִּי פִקּוּדֶיךָ דָרָֽשְׁתִּי׃ | 94 |
I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
| לִי קִוּוּ רְשָׁעִים לְאַבְּדֵנִי עֵדֹתֶיךָ אֶתְבּוֹנָֽן׃ | 95 |
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
| לְֽכָל תִּכְלָה רָאִיתִי קֵץ רְחָבָה מִצְוָתְךָ מְאֹֽד׃ | 96 |
I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.
| מָֽה־אָהַבְתִּי תוֹרָתֶךָ כָּל־הַיּוֹם הִיא שִׂיחָתִֽי׃ | 97 |
O how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
| מֵאֹיְבַי תְּחַכְּמֵנִי מִצְוֺתֶךָ כִּי לְעוֹלָם הִיא־לִֽי׃ | 98 |
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me.
| מִכָּל־מְלַמְּדַי הִשְׂכַּלְתִּי כִּי עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ שִׂיחָה לִֽֿי׃ | 99 |
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
| מִזְּקֵנִים אֶתְבּוֹנָן כִּי פִקּוּדֶיךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃ | 100 |
I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
| מִכָּל־אֹרַח רָע כָּלִאתִי רַגְלָי לְמַעַן אֶשְׁמֹר דְּבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 101 |
I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
| מִמִּשְׁפָּטֶיךָ לֹא־סָרְתִּי כִּֽי־אַתָּה הוֹרֵתָֽנִי׃ | 102 |
I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
| מַה־נִּמְלְצוּ לְחִכִּי אִמְרָתֶךָ מִדְּבַשׁ לְפִֽי׃ | 103 |
How sweet are thy words to my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
| מִפִּקּוּדֶיךָ אֶתְבּוֹנָן עַל־כֵּן שָׂנֵאתִי ׀ כָּל־אֹרַח שָֽׁקֶר׃ | 104 |
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
| נֵר־לְרַגְלִי דְבָרֶךָ וְאוֹר לִנְתִיבָתִֽי׃ | 105 |
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
| נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי וָאֲקַיֵּמָה לִשְׁמֹר מִשְׁפְּטֵי צִדְקֶֽךָ׃ | 106 |
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
| נַעֲנֵיתִי עַד־מְאֹד יְהוָה חַיֵּנִי כִדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ | 107 |
I am afflicted very much: revive me, O LORD, according to thy word.
| נִדְבוֹת פִּי רְצֵה־נָא יְהוָה וּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃ | 108 |
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
| נַפְשִׁי בְכַפִּי תָמִיד וְתֽוֹרָתְךָ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃ | 109 |
My soul is continually in my hand: yet I do not forget thy law.
| נָתְנוּ רְשָׁעִים פַּח לִי וּמִפִּקּוּדֶיךָ לֹא תָעִֽיתִי׃ | 110 |
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
| נָחַלְתִּי עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ לְעוֹלָם כִּֽי־שְׂשׂוֹן לִבִּי הֵֽמָּה׃ | 111 |
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
| נָטִיתִי לִבִּי לַעֲשׂוֹת חֻקֶּיךָ לְעוֹלָם עֵֽקֶב׃ | 112 |
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, even to the end.
| סֵעֲפִים שָׂנֵאתִי וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ אָהָֽבְתִּי׃ | 113 |
I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
| סִתְרִי וּמָגִנִּי אָתָּה לִדְבָרְךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃ | 114 |
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
| סֽוּרוּ־מִמֶּנִּי מְרֵעִים וְאֶצְּרָה מִצְוֺת אֱלֹהָֽי׃ | 115 |
Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
| סָמְכֵנִי כְאִמְרָתְךָ וְאֶֽחְיֶה וְאַל־תְּבִישֵׁנִי מִשִּׂבְרִֽי׃ | 116 |
Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
| סְעָדֵנִי וְאִוָּשֵׁעָה וְאֶשְׁעָה בְחֻקֶּיךָ תָמִֽיד׃ | 117 |
Support me, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect to thy statutes continually.
| סָלִיתָ כָּל־שׁוֹגִים מֵחֻקֶּיךָ כִּי־שֶׁקֶר תַּרְמִיתָֽם׃ | 118 |
Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
| סִגִים הִשְׁבַּתָּ כָל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָרֶץ לָכֵן אָהַבְתִּי עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃ | 119 |
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
| סָמַר מִפַּחְדְּךָ בְשָׂרִי וּֽמִמִּשְׁפָּטֶיךָ יָרֵֽאתִי׃ | 120 |
My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
| עָשִׂיתִי מִשְׁפָּט וָצֶדֶק בַּל־תַּנִּיחֵנִי לְעֹֽשְׁקָֽי׃ | 121 |
I have executed justice and righteousness: leave me not to my oppressors.
| עֲרֹב עַבְדְּךָ לְטוֹב אַֽל־יַעַשְׁקֻנִי זֵדִֽים׃ | 122 |
Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
| עֵינַי כָּלוּ לִֽישׁוּעָתֶךָ וּלְאִמְרַת צִדְקֶֽךָ׃ | 123 |
My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
| עֲשֵׂה עִם־עַבְדְּךָ כְחַסְדֶּךָ וְחֻקֶּיךָ לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃ | 124 |
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
| עַבְדְּךָ־אָנִי הֲבִינֵנִי וְאֵדְעָה עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃ | 125 |
I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
| עֵת לַעֲשׂוֹת לַיהוָה הֵפֵרוּ תּוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 126 |
It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
| עַל־כֵּן אָהַבְתִּי מִצְוֺתֶיךָ מִזָּהָב וּמִפָּֽז׃ | 127 |
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
| עַל־כֵּן ׀ כָּל־פִּקּוּדֵי כֹל יִשָּׁרְתִּי כָּל־אֹרַח שֶׁקֶר שָׂנֵֽאתִי׃ | 128 |
Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
| פְּלָאוֹת עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ עַל־כֵּן נְצָרָתַם נַפְשִֽׁי׃ | 129 |
Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
| פֵּתַח דְּבָרֶיךָ יָאִיר מֵבִין פְּתָיִֽים׃ | 130 |
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding to the simple.
| פִּֽי־פָעַרְתִּי וָאֶשְׁאָפָה כִּי לְמִצְוֺתֶיךָ יָאָֽבְתִּי׃ | 131 |
I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
| פְּנֵה־אֵלַי וְחָנֵּנִי כְּמִשְׁפָּט לְאֹהֲבֵי שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ | 132 |
Look thou upon me, and be merciful to me, as thou didst use to do to those that love thy name.
| פְּעָמַי הָכֵן בְּאִמְרָתֶךָ וְֽאַל־תַּשְׁלֶט־בִּי כָל־אָֽוֶן׃ | 133 |
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
| פְּדֵנִי מֵעֹשֶׁק אָדָם וְאֶשְׁמְרָה פִּקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃ | 134 |
Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
| פָּנֶיךָ הָאֵר בְּעַבְדֶּךָ וְלַמְּדֵנִי אֶת־חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 135 |
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.
| פַּלְגֵי־מַיִם יָרְדוּ עֵינָי עַל לֹא־שָׁמְרוּ תוֹרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 136 |
Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not thy law.
| צַדִּיק אַתָּה יְהוָה וְיָשָׁר מִשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃ | 137 |
Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.
| צִוִּיתָ צֶדֶק עֵדֹתֶיךָ וֶֽאֱמוּנָה מְאֹֽד׃ | 138 |
Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.
| צִמְּתַתְנִי קִנְאָתִי כִּֽי־שָׁכְחוּ דְבָרֶיךָ צָרָֽי׃ | 139 |
My zeal hath consumed me, because my enemies have forgotten thy words.
| צְרוּפָה אִמְרָתְךָ מְאֹד וְֽעַבְדְּךָ אֲהֵבָֽהּ׃ | 140 |
Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
| צָעִיר אָנֹכִי וְנִבְזֶה פִּקֻּדֶיךָ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃ | 141 |
I am small and despised: yet I do not forget thy precepts.
| צִדְקָתְךָ צֶדֶק לְעוֹלָם וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ אֱמֶֽת׃ | 142 |
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
| צַר־וּמָצוֹק מְצָאוּנִי מִצְוֺתֶיךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃ | 143 |
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.
| צֶדֶק עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ לְעוֹלָם הֲבִינֵנִי וְאֶחְיֶֽה׃ | 144 |
The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
| קָרָאתִי בְכָל־לֵב עֲנֵנִי יְהוָה חֻקֶּיךָ אֶצֹּֽרָה׃ | 145 |
I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
| קְרָאתִיךָ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי וְאֶשְׁמְרָה עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃ | 146 |
I cried to thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
| קִדַּמְתִּי בַנֶּשֶׁף וָאֲשַׁוֵּעָה לדבריך לִדְבָרְךָ יִחָֽלְתִּי׃ | 147 |
I came before the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
| קִדְּמוּ עֵינַי אַשְׁמֻרוֹת לָשִׂיחַ בְּאִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃ | 148 |
My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
| קוֹלִי שִׁמְעָה כְחַסְדֶּךָ יְהוָה כְּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃ | 149 |
Hear my voice according to thy lovingkindness: O LORD, revive me according to thy judgment.
| קָרְבוּ רֹדְפֵי זִמָּה מִתּוֹרָתְךָ רָחָֽקוּ׃ | 150 |
They draw near that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
| קָרוֹב אַתָּה יְהוָה וְֽכָל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָ אֱמֶֽת׃ | 151 |
Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.
| קֶדֶם יָדַעְתִּי מֵעֵדֹתֶיךָ כִּי לְעוֹלָם יְסַדְתָּֽם׃ | 152 |
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
| רְאֵֽה־עָנְיִי וְחַלְּצֵנִי כִּי־תֽוֹרָתְךָ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃ | 153 |
Consider my affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
| רִיבָה רִיבִי וּגְאָלֵנִי לְאִמְרָתְךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃ | 154 |
Plead my cause, and deliver me: revive me according to thy word.
| רָחוֹק מֵרְשָׁעִים יְשׁוּעָה כִּֽי־חֻקֶּיךָ לֹא דָרָֽשׁוּ׃ | 155 |
Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
| רַחֲמֶיךָ רַבִּים ׀ יְהוָה כְּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃ | 156 |
Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: revive me according to thy judgments.
| רַבִּים רֹדְפַי וְצָרָי מֵעֵדְוֺתֶיךָ לֹא נָטִֽיתִי׃ | 157 |
Many are my persecutors and my enemies; yet I do not decline from thy testimonies.
| רָאִיתִי בֹגְדִים וָֽאֶתְקוֹטָטָה אֲשֶׁר אִמְרָתְךָ לֹא שָׁמָֽרוּ׃ | 158 |
I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
| רְאֵה כִּי־פִקּוּדֶיךָ אָהָבְתִּי יְהוָה כְּֽחַסְדְּךָ חַיֵּֽנִי׃ | 159 |
Consider how I love thy precepts: revive me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.
| רֹאשׁ־דְּבָרְךָ אֱמֶת וּלְעוֹלָם כָּל־מִשְׁפַּט צִדְקֶֽךָ׃ | 160 |
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
| שָׂרִים רְדָפוּנִי חִנָּם ומדבריך וּמִדְּבָרְךָ פָּחַד לִבִּֽי׃ | 161 |
Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
| שָׂשׂ אָנֹכִֽי עַל־אִמְרָתֶךָ כְּמוֹצֵא שָׁלָל רָֽב׃ | 162 |
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
| שֶׁקֶר שָׂנֵאתִי וַאֲתַעֵבָה תּוֹרָתְךָ אָהָֽבְתִּי׃ | 163 |
I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
| שֶׁבַע בַּיּוֹם הִלַּלְתִּיךָ עַל מִשְׁפְּטֵי צִדְקֶֽךָ׃ | 164 |
Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
| שָׁלוֹם רָב לְאֹהֲבֵי תוֹרָתֶךָ וְאֵֽין־לָמוֹ מִכְשֽׁוֹל׃ | 165 |
Great peace have they who love thy law: and nothing shall cause them to stumble.
| שִׂבַּרְתִּי לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ יְהוָה וּֽמִצְוֺתֶיךָ עָשִֽׂיתִי׃ | 166 |
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and performed thy commandments.
| שָֽׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי עֵדֹתֶיךָ וָאֹהֲבֵם מְאֹֽד׃ | 167 |
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
| שָׁמַרְתִּי פִקּוּדֶיךָ וְעֵדֹתֶיךָ כִּי כָל־דְּרָכַי נֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃ | 168 |
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.
| תִּקְרַב רִנָּתִי לְפָנֶיךָ יְהוָה כִּדְבָרְךָ הֲבִינֵֽנִי׃ | 169 |
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
| תָּבוֹא תְחִנָּתִי לְפָנֶיךָ כְּאִמְרָתְךָ הַצִּילֵֽנִי׃ | 170 |
Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
| תַּבַּעְנָה שְׂפָתַי תְּהִלָּה כִּי תְלַמְּדֵנִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ | 171 |
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
| תַּעַן לְשׁוֹנִי אִמְרָתֶךָ כִּי כָל־מִצְוֺתֶיךָ צֶּֽדֶק׃ | 172 |
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.
| תְּהִֽי־יָדְךָ לְעָזְרֵנִי כִּי פִקּוּדֶיךָ בָחָֽרְתִּי׃ | 173 |
Let thy hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
| תָּאַבְתִּי לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ יְהוָה וְתֽוֹרָתְךָ שַׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃ | 174 |
I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
| תְּֽחִי־נַפְשִׁי וּֽתְהַֽלְלֶךָּ וּֽמִשְׁפָּטֶךָ יַעֲזְרֻֽנִי׃ | 175 |
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
| תָּעִיתִי כְּשֶׂה אֹבֵד בַּקֵּשׁ עַבְדֶּךָ כִּי מִצְוֺתֶיךָ לֹא שָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃ | 176 |
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
