הֲיָדַעְתָּ עֵת לֶדֶת יַעֲלֵי־סָלַע חֹלֵל אַיָּלוֹת תִּשְׁמֹֽר׃ | 1 |
to know time to beget goat crag to twist: give birth doe to keep: look at
תִּסְפֹּר יְרָחִים תְּמַלֶּאנָה וְיָדַעְתָּ עֵת לִדְתָּֽנָה׃ | 2 |
to recount month to fill and to know time to beget they
תִּכְרַעְנָה יַלְדֵיהֶן תְּפַלַּחְנָה חֶבְלֵיהֶם תְּשַׁלַּֽחְנָה׃ | 3 |
to bow youth their to cleave pain their to send: let go
יַחְלְמוּ בְנֵיהֶם יִרְבּוּ בַבָּר יָצְאוּ וְלֹא־שָׁבוּ לָֽמוֹ׃ | 4 |
be healthy son: child their to multiply in/on/with field to come out: come and not to return: return to/for them
מִֽי־שִׁלַּח פֶּרֶא חָפְשִׁי וּמֹסְרוֹת עָרוֹד מִי פִתֵּֽחַ׃ | 5 |

אֲשֶׁר־שַׂמְתִּי עֲרָבָה בֵיתוֹ וּֽמִשְׁכְּנוֹתָיו מְלֵֽחָה׃ | 6 |

יִשְׂחַק לַהֲמוֹן קִרְיָה תְּשֻׁאוֹת נוֹגֵשׂ לֹא יִשְׁמָֽע׃ | 7 |

יְתוּר הָרִים מִרְעֵהוּ וְאַחַר כָּל־יָרוֹק יִדְרֽוֹשׁ׃ | 8 |

הֲיֹאבֶה רֵּים עָבְדֶךָ אִם־יָלִין עַל־אֲבוּסֶֽךָ׃ | 9 |
be willing wild ox to serve you if: surely no to lodge upon crib your
הֲֽתִקְשָׁר־רֵים בְּתֶלֶם עֲבֹתוֹ אִם־יְשַׂדֵּד עֲמָקִים אַחֲרֶֽיךָ׃ | 10 |

הֲֽתִבְטַח־בּוֹ כִּי־רַב כֹּחוֹ וְתַעֲזֹב אֵלָיו יְגִיעֶֽךָ׃ | 11 |

הֲתַאֲמִין בּוֹ כִּי־ישוב יָשִׁיב זַרְעֶךָ וְֽגָרְנְךָ יֶאֱסֹֽף׃ | 12 |

כְּנַף־רְנָנִים נֶעֱלָסָה אִם־אֶבְרָה חֲסִידָה וְנֹצָֽה׃ | 13 |
wing ostrich to rejoice if: surely yes pinion stork and plumage
כִּֽי־תַעֲזֹב לָאָרֶץ בֵּצֶיהָ וְֽעַל־עָפָר תְּחַמֵּֽם׃ | 14 |
for to leave: forsake to/for land: country/planet egg her and upon dust to warm
וַתִּשְׁכַּח כִּי־רֶגֶל תְּזוּרֶהָ וְחַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה תְּדוּשֶֽׁהָ׃ | 15 |
and to forget for foot to crush her and living thing [the] land: wildlife to tread her
הִקְשִׁיחַ בָּנֶיהָ לְּלֹא־לָהּ לְרִיק יְגִיעָהּ בְּלִי־פָֽחַד׃ | 16 |
to harden son: young animal her to/for not to/for her to/for vain toil her without dread
כִּֽי־הִשָּׁהּ אֱלוֹהַּ חָכְמָה וְלֹא־חָלַק לָהּ בַּבִּינָֽה׃ | 17 |
for to forget her god wisdom and not to divide to/for her in/on/with understanding
כָּעֵת בַּמָּרוֹם תַּמְרִיא תִּֽשְׂחַק לַסּוּס וּלְרֹֽכְבֽוֹ׃ | 18 |
like/as time in/on/with height to flap to laugh to/for horse and to/for to ride his
הֲתִתֵּן לַסּוּס גְּבוּרָה הֲתַלְבִּישׁ צַוָּארוֹ רַעְמָֽה׃ | 19 |
to give: give to/for horse might to clothe neck his mane
הְֽתַרְעִישֶׁנּוּ כָּאַרְבֶּה הוֹד נַחְרוֹ אֵימָֽה׃ | 20 |
to shake him like/as locust splendor snorting his terror
יַחְפְּרוּ בָעֵמֶק וְיָשִׂישׂ בְּכֹחַ יֵצֵא לִקְרַאת־נָֽשֶׁק׃ | 21 |
to search in/on/with valley and to rejoice in/on/with strength to come out: come to/for to encounter: meet weapon
יִשְׂחַק לְפַחַד וְלֹא יֵחָת וְלֹֽא־יָשׁוּב מִפְּנֵי־חָֽרֶב׃ | 22 |

עָלָיו תִּרְנֶה אַשְׁפָּה לַהַב חֲנִית וְכִידֽוֹן׃ | 23 |

בְּרַעַשׁ וְרֹגֶז יְגַמֶּא־אָרֶץ וְלֹֽא־יַאֲמִין כִּי־קוֹל שׁוֹפָֽר׃ | 24 |

בְּדֵי שֹׁפָר ׀ יֹאמַר הֶאָח וּֽמֵרָחוֹק יָרִיחַ מִלְחָמָה רַעַם שָׂרִים וּתְרוּעָֽה׃ | 25 |
