בראשית 46

1 וַיִּסַּע יִשְׂרָאֵל וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ וַיָּבֹא בְּאֵרָה שָּׁבַע וַיִּזְבַּח זְבָחִים לֵאלֹהֵי אָבִיו יִצְחָֽק׃

and to set out Israel and all which to/for him and to come (in): come Beersheba [to] Beersheba and to sacrifice sacrifice to/for God father his Isaac

2 וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים ׀ לְיִשְׂרָאֵל בְּמַרְאֹת הַלַּיְלָה וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב ׀ יַעֲקֹב וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּֽנִי׃

and to say God to/for Israel in/on/with vision [the] night and to say Jacob Jacob and to say behold I

3 וַיֹּאמֶר אָנֹכִי הָאֵל אֱלֹהֵי אָבִיךָ אַל־תִּירָא מֵרְדָה מִצְרַיְמָה כִּֽי־לְגוֹי גָּדוֹל אֲשִֽׂימְךָ שָֽׁם׃

and to say I [the] God God father your not to fear from to go down Egypt [to] for to/for nation great: large to set: make you there

4 אָנֹכִי אֵרֵד עִמְּךָ מִצְרַיְמָה וְאָנֹכִי אַֽעַלְךָ גַם־עָלֹה וְיוֹסֵף יָשִׁית יָדוֹ עַל־עֵינֶֽיךָ׃

I to go down with you Egypt [to] and I to ascend: establish you also to ascend: establish and Joseph to set: put hand: power his upon eye your

5 וַיָּקָם יַעֲקֹב מִבְּאֵר שָׁבַע וַיִּשְׂאוּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־יַעֲקֹב אֲבִיהֶם וְאֶת־טַפָּם וְאֶת־נְשֵׁיהֶם בָּעֲגָלוֹת אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַח פַּרְעֹה לָשֵׂאת אֹתֽוֹ׃

and to arise: rise Jacob from Beersheba Beersheba and to lift: bear son: child Israel [obj] Jacob father their and [obj] child their and [obj] woman: wife their in/on/with cart which to send: depart Pharaoh to/for to lift: bear [obj] him

6 וַיִּקְחוּ אֶת־מִקְנֵיהֶם וְאֶת־רְכוּשָׁם אֲשֶׁר רָֽכְשׁוּ בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן וַיָּבֹאוּ מִצְרָיְמָה יַעֲקֹב וְכָל־זַרְעוֹ אִתּֽוֹ׃

and to take: take [obj] livestock their and [obj] property their which to gather in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan and to come (in): come Egypt [to] Jacob and all seed: children his with him

7 בָּנָיו וּבְנֵי בָנָיו אִתּוֹ בְּנֹתָיו וּבְנוֹת בָּנָיו וְכָל־זַרְעוֹ הֵבִיא אִתּוֹ מִצְרָֽיְמָה׃

son: child his and son: child son: child his with him daughter his and daughter son: child his and all seed: children his to come (in): bring with him Egypt [to]

8 וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל הַבָּאִים מִצְרַיְמָה יַעֲקֹב וּבָנָיו בְּכֹר יַעֲקֹב רְאוּבֵֽן׃

and these name son: descendant/people Israel [the] to come (in): come Egypt [to] Jacob and son: child his firstborn Jacob Reuben

9 וּבְנֵי רְאוּבֵן חֲנוֹךְ וּפַלּוּא וְחֶצְרוֹן וְכַרְמִֽי׃

and son: child Reuben Hanoch and Pallu and Hezron and Carmi

10 וּבְנֵי שִׁמְעוֹן יְמוּאֵל וְיָמִין וְאֹהַד וְיָכִין וְצֹחַר וְשָׁאוּל בֶּן־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִֽית׃

and son: child Simeon Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul son: child [the] Canaanitess

11 וּבְנֵי לֵוִי גֵּרְשׁוֹן קְהָת וּמְרָרִֽי׃

and son: child Levi Gershon Kohath and Merari

12 וּבְנֵי יְהוּדָה עֵר וְאוֹנָן וְשֵׁלָה וָפֶרֶץ וָזָרַח וַיָּמָת עֵר וְאוֹנָן בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־פֶרֶץ חֶצְרוֹן וְחָמֽוּל׃

and son: child Judah Er and Onan and Shelah and Perez and Zerah and to die Er and Onan in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan and to be son: child Perez Hezron and Hamul

13 וּבְנֵי יִשָׂשכָר תּוֹלָע וּפֻוָּה וְיוֹב וְשִׁמְרֽוֹן׃

and son: child Issachar Tola and Puah and Yob and Shimron

14 וּבְנֵי זְבוּלֻן סֶרֶד וְאֵלוֹן וְיַחְלְאֵֽל׃

and son: child Zebulun Sered and Elon and Jahleel

15 אֵלֶּה ׀ בְּנֵי לֵאָה אֲשֶׁר יָֽלְדָה לְיַעֲקֹב בְּפַדַּן אֲרָם וְאֵת דִּינָה בִתּוֹ כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ בָּנָיו וּבְנוֹתָיו שְׁלֹשִׁים וְשָׁלֹֽשׁ׃

these son: child Leah which to beget to/for Jacob in/on/with Paddan (Paddan)-aram and with Dinah daughter his all soul: person son: child his and daughter his thirty and three

16 וּבְנֵי גָד צִפְיוֹן וְחַגִּי שׁוּנִי וְאֶצְבֹּן עֵרִי וַֽאֲרוֹדִי וְאַרְאֵלִֽי׃

and son: child Gad Ziphion and Haggi Shuni and Ezbon Eri and Arodi and Areli

17 וּבְנֵי אָשֵׁר יִמְנָה וְיִשְׁוָה וְיִשְׁוִי וּבְרִיעָה וְשֶׂרַח אֲחֹתָם וּבְנֵי בְרִיעָה חֶבֶר וּמַלְכִּיאֵֽל׃

and son: child Asher Imnah and Ishvah and Ishvi and Beriah and Serah sister their and son: child Beriah Heber and Malchiel

18 אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי זִלְפָּה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַן לָבָן לְלֵאָה בִתּוֹ וַתֵּלֶד אֶת־אֵלֶּה לְיַעֲקֹב שֵׁשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה נָֽפֶשׁ׃

these son: child Zilpah which to give: give Laban to/for Leah daughter his and to beget [obj] these to/for Jacob six ten soul: person

19 בְּנֵי רָחֵל אֵשֶׁת יַֽעֲקֹב יוֹסֵף וּבִנְיָמִֽן׃

son: child Rachel woman: wife Jacob Joseph and Benjamin

20 וַיִּוָּלֵד לְיוֹסֵף בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם אֲשֶׁר יָֽלְדָה־לּוֹ אָֽסְנַת בַּת־פּוֹטִי פֶרַע כֹּהֵן אֹן אֶת־מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶת־אֶפְרָֽיִם׃

and to beget to/for Joseph in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt which to beget to/for him Asenath daughter Potiphera Potiphera priest On [obj] Manasseh and [obj] Ephraim

21 וּבְנֵי בִנְיָמִן בֶּלַע וָבֶכֶר וְאַשְׁבֵּל גֵּרָא וְנַעֲמָן אֵחִי וָרֹאשׁ מֻפִּים וְחֻפִּים וָאָֽרְדְּ׃

and son: child Benjamin Bela and Becher and Ashbel Gera and Naaman Ehi and Rosh Muppim and Huppim and Ard

22 אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי רָחֵל אֲשֶׁר יֻלַּד לְיַעֲקֹב כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ אַרְבָּעָה עָשָֽׂר׃

these son: child Rachel which to beget to/for Jacob all soul: person four ten

23 וּבְנֵי־דָן חֻשִֽׁים׃

and son: child Dan Hushim

24 וּבְנֵי נַפְתָּלִי יַחְצְאֵל וְגוּנִי וְיֵצֶר וְשִׁלֵּֽם׃

and son: child Naphtali Jahzeel and Guni and Jezer and Shillem

25 אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי בִלְהָה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַן לָבָן לְרָחֵל בִּתּוֹ וַתֵּלֶד אֶת־אֵלֶּה לְיַעֲקֹב כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ שִׁבְעָֽה׃

these son: child Bilhah which to give: give Laban to/for Rachel daughter his and to beget [obj] these to/for Jacob all soul: person seven

26 כָּל־הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַבָּאָה לְיַעֲקֹב מִצְרַיְמָה יֹצְאֵי יְרֵכוֹ מִלְּבַד נְשֵׁי בְנֵי־יַעֲקֹב כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ שִׁשִּׁים וָשֵֽׁשׁ׃

27 וּבְנֵי יוֹסֵף אֲשֶׁר־יֻלַּד־לוֹ בְמִצְרַיִם נֶפֶשׁ שְׁנָיִם כָּל־הַנֶּפֶשׁ לְבֵֽית־יַעֲקֹב הַבָּאָה מִצְרַיְמָה שִׁבְעִֽים׃

28 וְאֶת־יְהוּדָה שָׁלַח לְפָנָיו אֶל־יוֹסֵף לְהוֹרֹת לְפָנָיו גֹּשְׁנָה וַיָּבֹאוּ אַרְצָה גֹּֽשֶׁן׃

and [obj] Judah to send: depart to/for face: before his to(wards) Joseph to/for to show to/for face: before his Goshen [to] and to come (in): come land: country/planet [to] Goshen

29 וַיֶּאְסֹר יוֹסֵף מֶרְכַּבְתּוֹ וַיַּעַל לִקְרַֽאת־יִשְׂרָאֵל אָבִיו גֹּשְׁנָה וַיֵּרָא אֵלָיו וַיִּפֹּל עַל־צַוָּארָיו וַיֵּבְךְּ עַל־צַוָּארָיו עֽוֹד׃

and to bind Joseph chariot his and to ascend: rise to/for to encounter: meet Israel father his Goshen [to] and to see: see to(wards) him and to fall: fall upon neck his and to weep upon neck his still

30 וַיֹּאמֶר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יוֹסֵף אָמוּתָה הַפָּעַם אַחֲרֵי רְאוֹתִי אֶת־פָּנֶיךָ כִּי עוֹדְךָ חָֽי׃

and to say Israel to(wards) Joseph to die [the] beat after to see: see I [obj] face your for still you alive

31 וַיֹּאמֶר יוֹסֵף אֶל־אֶחָיו וְאֶל־בֵּית אָבִיו אֶעֱלֶה וְאַגִּידָה לְפַרְעֹה וְאֹֽמְרָה אֵלָיו אַחַי וּבֵית־אָבִי אֲשֶׁר בְּאֶֽרֶץ־כְּנַעַן בָּאוּ אֵלָֽי׃

and to say Joseph to(wards) brother: male-sibling his and to(wards) house: household father his to ascend: rise and to tell to/for Pharaoh and to say to(wards) him brother: male-sibling my and house: household father my which in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan to come (in): come to(wards) me

32 וְהָאֲנָשִׁים רֹעֵי צֹאן כִּֽי־אַנְשֵׁי מִקְנֶה הָיוּ וְצֹאנָם וּבְקָרָם וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר לָהֶם הֵבִֽיאוּ׃

and [the] human to pasture flock for human livestock to be and flock their and cattle their and all which to/for them to come (in): bring

33 וְהָיָה כִּֽי־יִקְרָא לָכֶם פַּרְעֹה וְאָמַר מַה־מַּעֲשֵׂיכֶֽם׃

and to be for to call: call to to/for you Pharaoh and to say what? deed: work your

34 וַאֲמַרְתֶּם אַנְשֵׁי מִקְנֶה הָיוּ עֲבָדֶיךָ מִנְּעוּרֵינוּ וְעַד־עַתָּה גַּם־אֲנַחְנוּ גַּם־אֲבֹתֵינוּ בַּעֲבוּר תֵּשְׁבוּ בְּאֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן כִּֽי־תוֹעֲבַת מִצְרַיִם כָּל־רֹעֵה צֹֽאן׃

and to say human livestock to be servant/slave your from youth our and till now also we also father our in/on/with for the sake of to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet Goshen for abomination Egyptian all to pasture flock
