| וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה עַתָּה תִרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר אֽ͏ֶעֱשֶׂה לְפַרְעֹה כִּי בְיָד חֲזָקָה יְשַׁלְּחֵם וּבְיָד חֲזָקָה יְגָרְשֵׁם מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ | 1 |
And he said Yahweh to Moses now you will see [that] which I will do to Pharaoh for by a hand strong he will let go them and by a hand strong he will drive out them from land his.
| וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃ | 2 |
And he spoke God to Moses and he said to him I [am] Yahweh.
| וָאֵרָא אֶל־אַבְרָהָם אֶל־יִצְחָק וְאֶֽל־יַעֲקֹב בְּאֵל שַׁדָּי וּשְׁמִי יְהוָה לֹא נוֹדַעְתִּי לָהֶֽם׃ | 3 |
And I appeared to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob God Almighty and name my Yahweh not I made myself known to them.
| וְגַם הֲקִמֹתִי אֶת־בְּרִיתִי אִתָּם לָתֵת לָהֶם אֶת־אֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן אֵת אֶרֶץ מְגֻרֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר־גָּרוּ בָֽהּ׃ | 4 |
And also I established covenant my with them to give to them [the] land of Canaan [the] land of sojournings their which they sojourned in it.
| וְגַם ׀ אֲנִי שָׁמַעְתִּי אֶֽת־נַאֲקַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר מִצְרַיִם מַעֲבִדִים אֹתָם וָאֶזְכֹּר אֶת־בְּרִיתִֽי׃ | 5 |
And also - I I have heard [the] groaning of [the] people of Israel whom Egypt [are] compelling to labor them and I have remembered covenant my.
| לָכֵן אֱמֹר לִבְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנִי יְהוָה וְהוֹצֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם מִתַּחַת סִבְלֹת מִצְרַיִם וְהִצַּלְתִּי אֶתְכֶם מֵעֲבֹדָתָם וְגָאַלְתִּי אֶתְכֶם בִּזְרוֹעַ נְטוּיָה וּבִשְׁפָטִים גְּדֹלִֽים׃ | 6 |
Therefore say to [the] people of Israel I [am] Yahweh and I will bring out you from under [the] forced labor of Egypt and I will deliver you from labor their and I will redeem you by an arm outstretched and with acts of judgment great.
| וְלָקַחְתִּי אֶתְכֶם לִי לְעָם וְהָיִיתִי לָכֶם לֵֽאלֹהִים וִֽידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם הַמּוֹצִיא אֶתְכֶם מִתַּחַת סִבְלוֹת מִצְרָֽיִם׃ | 7 |
And I will take you for myself to a people and I will become for you God and you will know that I [am] Yahweh God your who brought out you from under [the] forced labor of Egypt.
| וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נָשָׂאתִי אֶת־יָדִי לָתֵת אֹתָהּ לְאַבְרָהָם לְיִצְחָק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹב וְנָתַתִּי אֹתָהּ לָכֶם מוֹרָשָׁה אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃ | 8 |
And I will bring you into the land which I lifted up hand my to give it to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob and I will give it to you a possession I [am] Yahweh.
| וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה כֵּן אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא שָֽׁמְעוּ אֶל־מֹשֶׁה מִקֹּצֶר רוּחַ וּמֵעֲבֹדָה קָשָֽׁה׃ | 9 |
And he spoke Moses thus to [the] people of Israel and not they listened to Moses from shortness of spirit and from labor hard.
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ | 10 |
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
| בֹּא דַבֵּר אֶל־פַּרְעֹה מֶלֶךְ מִצְרָיִם וִֽישַׁלַּח אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ | 11 |
Go speak to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt so he may let go [the] people of Israel from land his.
| וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לֵאמֹר הֵן בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹֽא־שָׁמְעוּ אֵלַי וְאֵיךְ יִשְׁמָעֵנִי פַרְעֹה וַאֲנִי עֲרַל שְׂפָתָֽיִם׃ | 12 |
And he spoke Moses before Yahweh saying here! [the] people of Israel not they have listened to me and how? will he listen to me Pharaoh and I [am] uncircumcised of lips.
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן וַיְצַוֵּם אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶל־פַּרְעֹה מֶלֶךְ מִצְרָיִם לְהוֹצִיא אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ | 13 |
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron and he commanded them to [the] people of Israel and to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt to bring out [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt.
| אֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי בֵית־אֲבֹתָם בְּנֵי רְאוּבֵן בְּכֹר יִשְׂרָאֵל חֲנוֹךְ וּפַלּוּא חֶצְרוֹן וְכַרְמִי אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת רְאוּבֵֽן׃ | 14 |
These [were] [the] heads of [the] household of ancestors their [the] sons of Reuben [the] firstborn of Israel [were] Hanoch and Pallu Hezron and Carmi these [were] [the] clans of Reuben.
| וּבְנֵי שִׁמְעוֹן יְמוּאֵל וְיָמִין וְאֹהַד וְיָכִין וְצֹחַר וְשָׁאוּל בֶּן־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִית אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת שִׁמְעֽוֹן׃ | 15 |
And [the] sons of Simeon [were] Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jakin and Zohar and Shaul [the] son of Canaanite [woman] these [were] [the] clans of Simeon.
| וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵֽי־לֵוִי לְתֹלְדֹתָם גֵּרְשׁוֹן וּקְהָת וּמְרָרִי וּשְׁנֵי חַיֵּי לֵוִי שֶׁבַע וּשְׁלֹשִׁים וּמְאַת שָׁנָֽה׃ | 16 |
And these [were] [the] names of [the] sons of Levi to descendants their Gershon and Kohath and Merari and [the] years of [the] life of Levi [were] seven and thirty and one hundred year[s].
| בְּנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹן לִבְנִי וְשִׁמְעִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ | 17 |
[the] sons of Gershon [were] Libni and Shimei to clans their.
| וּבְנֵי קְהָת עַמְרָם וְיִצְהָר וְחֶבְרוֹן וְעֻזִּיאֵל וּשְׁנֵי חַיֵּי קְהָת שָׁלֹשׁ וּשְׁלֹשִׁים וּמְאַת שָׁנָֽה׃ | 18 |
And [the] sons of Kohath [were] Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel and [the] years of [the] life of Kohath [were] three and thirty and one hundred year[s].
| וּבְנֵי מְרָרִי מַחְלִי וּמוּשִׁי אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַלֵּוִי לְתֹלְדֹתָֽם׃ | 19 |
And [the] sons of Merari [were] Mahli and Mushi these [were] [the] clans of the Levite[s] to descendants their.
| וַיִּקַּח עַמְרָם אֶת־יוֹכֶבֶד דֹּֽדָתוֹ לוֹ לְאִשָּׁה וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת־מֹשֶׁה וּשְׁנֵי חַיֵּי עַמְרָם שֶׁבַע וּשְׁלֹשִׁים וּמְאַת שָׁנָֽה׃ | 20 |
And he took Amram Jochebed father's sister his for himself to a wife and she bore to him Aaron and Moses and [the] years of [the] life of Amram [were] seven and thirty and one hundred year[s].
| וּבְנֵי יִצְהָר קֹרַח וָנֶפֶג וְזִכְרִֽי׃ | 21 |
And [the] sons of Izhar [were] Korah and Nepheg and Zikri.
| וּבְנֵי עֻזִּיאֵל מִֽישָׁאֵל וְאֶלְצָפָן וְסִתְרִֽי׃ | 22 |
And [the] sons of Uzziel [were] Mishael and Elzaphan and Sithri.
| וַיִּקַּח אַהֲרֹן אֶת־אֱלִישֶׁבַע בַּת־עַמִּינָדָב אֲחוֹת נַחְשׁוֹן לוֹ לְאִשָּׁה וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת־נָדָב וְאֶת־אֲבִיהוּא אֶת־אֶלְעָזָר וְאֶת־אִֽיתָמָֽר׃ | 23 |
And he took Aaron Elisheba [the] daughter of Amminadab [the] sister of Nahshon for himself to a wife and she bore to him Nadab and Abihu Eleazar and Ithamar.
| וּבְנֵי קֹרַח אַסִּיר וְאֶלְקָנָה וַאֲבִיאָסָף אֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַקָּרְחִֽי׃ | 24 |
And [the] sons of Korah [were] Assir and Elkanah and Abiasaph these [were] [the] clans of the Korahite[s].
| וְאֶלְעָזָר בֶּֽן־אַהֲרֹן לָקַֽח־לוֹ מִבְּנוֹת פּֽוּטִיאֵל לוֹ לְאִשָּׁה וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת־פִּֽינְחָס אֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי אֲבוֹת הַלְוִיִּם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ | 25 |
And Eleazar [the] son of Aaron he took for himself one of [the] daughters of Putiel for himself to a wife and she bore to him Phinehas these [were] [the] heads of [the] ancestors of the Levites to clans their.
| הוּא אַהֲרֹן וּמֹשֶׁה אֲשֶׁר אָמַר יְהוָה לָהֶם הוֹצִיאוּ אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם עַל־צִבְאֹתָֽם׃ | 26 |
That Aaron and Moses whom he said Yahweh to them bring out [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt on hosts their.
| הֵם הַֽמְדַבְּרִים אֶל־פַּרְעֹה מֶֽלֶך־מִצְרַיִם לְהוֹצִיא אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָיִם הוּא מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹֽן׃ | 27 |
They [were] the [ones who] were speaking to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt to bring out [the] people of Israel from Egypt that Moses and Aaron.
| וַיְהִי בְּיוֹם דִּבֶּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ | 28 |
And it was on [the] day [when] he spoke Yahweh to Moses in [the] land of Egypt.
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר אֲנִי יְהוָה דַּבֵּר אֶל־פַּרְעֹה מֶלֶךְ מִצְרַיִם אֵת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי דֹּבֵר אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ | 29 |
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying I [am] Yahweh speak to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt all that I [am] speaking to you.
| וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה הֵן אֲנִי עֲרַל שְׂפָתַיִם וְאֵיךְ יִשְׁמַע אֵלַי פַּרְעֹֽה׃ | 30 |
And he said Moses before Yahweh here! I [am] uncircumcised of lips and how? will he listen to me Pharaoh.
