| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ | 1 |
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
| דַּבֵּר אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְיִקְחוּ־לִי תְּרוּמָה מֵאֵת כָּל־אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִדְּבֶנּוּ לִבּוֹ תִּקְחוּ אֶת־תְּרוּמָתִֽי׃ | 2 |
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and they take a raised-offering for Me; you take My raised-offering from every man whose heart impels him.
| וְזֹאת הַתְּרוּמָה אֲשֶׁר תִּקְחוּ מֵאִתָּם זָהָב וָכֶסֶף וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ | 3 |
And this [is] the raised-offering which you take from them: gold, and silver, and bronze,
| וּתְכֵלֶת וְאַרְגָּמָן וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי וְשֵׁשׁ וְעִזִּֽים׃ | 4 |
and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and linen, and goats’ [hair],
| וְעֹרֹת אֵילִם מְאָדָּמִים וְעֹרֹת תְּחָשִׁים וַעֲצֵי שִׁטִּֽים׃ | 5 |
and rams’ skins made red, and tachashim skins, and shittim wood,
| שֶׁמֶן לַמָּאֹר בְּשָׂמִים לְשֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְלִקְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּֽים׃ | 6 |
oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of the spices,
| אַבְנֵי־שֹׁהַם וְאַבְנֵי מִלֻּאִים לָאֵפֹד וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃ | 7 |
shoham stones, and stones for setting for an ephod, and for a breastplate.
| וְעָשׂוּ לִי מִקְדָּשׁ וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ | 8 |
And they have made a sanctuary for Me, and I have dwelt in their midst;
| כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי מַרְאֶה אוֹתְךָ אֵת תַּבְנִית הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֵת תַּבְנִית כָּל־כֵּלָיו וְכֵן תַּעֲשֽׂוּ׃ | 9 |
according to all that which I am showing you, the pattern of the Dwelling Place, and the pattern of all its vessels, even so you make [it].
| וְעָשׂוּ אֲרוֹן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים אַמָּתַיִם וָחֵצִי אָרְכּוֹ וְאַמָּה וָחֵצִי רָחְבּוֹ וְאַמָּה וָחֵצִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃ | 10 |
And they have made an ark of shittim wood; two cubits and a half its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height;
| וְצִפִּיתָ אֹתוֹ זָהָב טָהוֹר מִבַּיִת וּמִחוּץ תְּצַפֶּנּוּ וְעָשִׂיתָ עָלָיו זֵר זָהָב סָבִֽיב׃ | 11 |
and you have overlaid it [with] pure gold, you overlay it inside and outside, and you have made a ring of gold on it all around.
| וְיָצַקְתָּ לּוֹ אַרְבַּע טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וְנָתַתָּה עַל אַרְבַּע פַּעֲמֹתָיו וּשְׁתֵּי טַבָּעֹת עַל־צַלְעוֹ הָֽאֶחָת וּשְׁתֵּי טַבָּעֹת עַל־צַלְעוֹ הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ | 12 |
And you have cast four rings of gold for it, and have put [them] on its four feet, even two rings on its one side, and two rings on its second side;
| וְעָשִׂיתָ בַדֵּי עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים וְצִפִּיתָ אֹתָם זָהָֽב׃ | 13 |
and you have made poles of shittim wood, and have overlaid them [with] gold,
| וְהֵֽבֵאתָ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים בַּטַּבָּעֹת עַל צַלְעֹת הָאָרֹן לָשֵׂאת אֶת־הָאָרֹן בָּהֶֽם׃ | 14 |
and have brought the poles into the rings on the sides of the Ark, to carry the Ark by them;
| בְּטַבְּעֹת הָאָרֹן יִהְיוּ הַבַּדִּים לֹא יָסֻרוּ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ | 15 |
the poles are in the rings of the Ark, they are not turned aside from it;
| וְנָתַתָּ אֶל־הָאָרֹן אֵת הָעֵדֻת אֲשֶׁר אֶתֵּן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ | 16 |
and you have put the Testimony which I give to you into the Ark.
| וְעָשִׂיתָ כַפֹּרֶת זָהָב טָהוֹר אַמָּתַיִם וָחֵצִי אָרְכָּהּ וְאַמָּה וָחֵצִי רָחְבָּֽהּ׃ | 17 |
And you have made a propitiatory covering of pure gold, two cubits and a half its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth;
| וְעָשִׂיתָ שְׁנַיִם כְּרֻבִים זָהָב מִקְשָׁה תַּעֲשֶׂה אֹתָם מִשְּׁנֵי קְצוֹת הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ | 18 |
and you have made two cherubim of gold; you make them beaten work at the two ends of the propitiatory covering;
| וַעֲשֵׂה כְּרוּב אֶחָד מִקָּצָה מִזֶּה וּכְרוּב־אֶחָד מִקָּצָה מִזֶּה מִן־הַכַּפֹּרֶת תַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת־הַכְּרֻבִים עַל־שְׁנֵי קְצוֹתָֽיו׃ | 19 |
and make one cherub at the end on this [side] and one cherub at the end on that [side]; at the propitiatory covering you make the cherubim on its two ends.
| וְהָיוּ הַכְּרֻבִים פֹּרְשֵׂי כְנָפַיִם לְמַעְלָה סֹכְכִים בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם עַל־הַכַּפֹּרֶת וּפְנֵיהֶם אִישׁ אֶל־אָחִיו אֶל־הַכַּפֹּרֶת יִהְיוּ פְּנֵי הַכְּרֻבִֽים׃ | 20 |
And the cherubim have been spreading out wings on high, covering over the propitiatory covering with their wings, and their faces [are] toward one another—the faces of the cherubim are toward the propitiatory covering.
| וְנָתַתָּ אֶת־הַכַּפֹּרֶת עַל־הָאָרֹן מִלְמָעְלָה וְאֶל־הָאָרֹן תִּתֵּן אֶת־הָעֵדֻת אֲשֶׁר אֶתֵּן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ | 21 |
And you have put the propitiatory covering on the Ark above, and you put the Testimony which I give to you into the Ark;
| וְנוֹעַדְתִּי לְךָ שָׁם וְדִבַּרְתִּי אִתְּךָ מֵעַל הַכַּפֹּרֶת מִבֵּין שְׁנֵי הַכְּרֻבִים אֲשֶׁר עַל־אֲרֹן הָעֵדֻת אֵת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר אֲצַוֶּה אוֹתְךָ אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ | 22 |
and I have met with you there, and have spoken with you from off the propitiatory covering (from between the two cherubim, which [are] on the Ark of the Testimony) all that which I command you concerning the sons of Israel.
| וְעָשִׂיתָ שֻׁלְחָן עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים אַמָּתַיִם אָרְכּוֹ וְאַמָּה רָחְבּוֹ וְאַמָּה וָחֵצִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃ | 23 |
And you have made a table of shittim wood, two cubits its length, and a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height,
| וְצִפִּיתָ אֹתוֹ זָהָב טָהוֹר וְעָשִׂיתָ לּוֹ זֵר זָהָב סָבִֽיב׃ | 24 |
and have overlaid it [with] pure gold, and have made a crown of gold for it all around,
| וְעָשִׂיתָ לּוֹ מִסְגֶּרֶת טֹפַח סָבִיב וְעָשִׂיתָ זֵר־זָהָב לְמִסְגַּרְתּוֹ סָבִֽיב׃ | 25 |
and have made a border of a handbreadth for it all around, and have made a crown of gold for its border all around.
| וְעָשִׂיתָ לּוֹ אַרְבַּע טַבְּעֹת זָהָב וְנָתַתָּ אֶת־הַטַּבָּעֹת עַל אַרְבַּע הַפֵּאֹת אֲשֶׁר לְאַרְבַּע רַגְלָֽיו׃ | 26 |
And you have made four rings of gold for it, and have put the rings on the four corners, which [are] at its four feet;
| לְעֻמַּת הַמִּסְגֶּרֶת תִּהְיֶיןָ הַטַּבָּעֹת לְבָתִּים לְבַדִּים לָשֵׂאת אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ | 27 |
close by the border are the rings for places for poles to carry the table;
| וְעָשִׂיתָ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים עֲצֵי שִׁטִּים וְצִפִּיתָ אֹתָם זָהָב וְנִשָּׂא־בָם אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ | 28 |
and you have made the poles of shittim wood, and have overlaid them with gold, and the table has been carried with them;
| וְעָשִׂיתָ קְּעָרֹתָיו וְכַפֹּתָיו וּקְשׂוֹתָיו וּמְנַקִּיֹּתָיו אֲשֶׁר יֻסַּךְ בָּהֵן זָהָב טָהוֹר תַּעֲשֶׂה אֹתָֽם׃ | 29 |
and you have made its dishes, and its bowls, and its covers, and its cups, with which they pour out; you make them of pure gold;
| וְנָתַתָּ עַֽל־הַשֻּׁלְחָן לֶחֶם פָּנִים לְפָנַי תָּמִֽיד׃ | 30 |
and you have put Bread of the Presentation on the table before Me continually.
| וְעָשִׂיתָ מְנֹרַת זָהָב טָהוֹר מִקְשָׁה תֵּעָשֶׂה הַמְּנוֹרָה יְרֵכָהּ וְקָנָהּ גְּבִיעֶיהָ כַּפְתֹּרֶיהָ וּפְרָחֶיהָ מִמֶּנָּה יִהְיֽוּ׃ | 31 |
And you have made a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand is made of beaten work; its base, and its branch, its calyxes, its knobs, and its flowers are of the same;
| וְשִׁשָּׁה קָנִים יֹצְאִים מִצִּדֶּיהָ שְׁלֹשָׁה ׀ קְנֵי מְנֹרָה מִצִּדָּהּ הָאֶחָד וּשְׁלֹשָׁה קְנֵי מְנֹרָה מִצִּדָּהּ הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃ | 32 |
and six branches are coming out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of the first side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the second side;
| שְׁלֹשָׁה גְבִעִים מְֽשֻׁקָּדִים בַּקָּנֶה הָאֶחָד כַּפְתֹּר וָפֶרַח וּשְׁלֹשָׁה גְבִעִים מְשֻׁקָּדִים בַּקָּנֶה הָאֶחָד כַּפְתֹּר וָפָרַח כֵּן לְשֵׁשֶׁת הַקָּנִים הַיֹּצְאִים מִן־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃ | 33 |
three calyxes made like almonds in one branch, a knob and a flower, and three calyxes made like almonds in one branch, a knob and a flower—so for the six branches which are coming out from the lampstand.
| וּבַמְּנֹרָה אַרְבָּעָה גְבִעִים מְשֻׁקָּדִים כַּפְתֹּרֶיהָ וּפְרָחֶֽיהָ׃ | 34 |
And in the lampstand [are] four calyxes made like almonds, its knobs and its flowers;
| וְכַפְתֹּר תַּחַת שְׁנֵי הַקָּנִים מִמֶּנָּה וְכַפְתֹּר תַּחַת שְׁנֵי הַקָּנִים מִמֶּנָּה וְכַפְתֹּר תַּחַת־שְׁנֵי הַקָּנִים מִמֶּנָּה לְשֵׁשֶׁת הַקָּנִים הַיֹּצְאִים מִן־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃ | 35 |
and a knob under two branches of the same, and a knob under two branches of the same, and a knob under two branches of the same, for the six branches which are coming out of the lampstand;
| כַּפְתֹּרֵיהֶם וּקְנֹתָם מִמֶּנָּה יִהְיוּ כֻּלָּהּ מִקְשָׁה אַחַת זָהָב טָהֽוֹר׃ | 36 |
their knobs and their branches are of the same, all of it one beaten work of pure gold;
| וְעָשִׂיתָ אֶת־נֵרֹתֶיהָ שִׁבְעָה וְהֶֽעֱלָה אֶת־נֵרֹתֶיהָ וְהֵאִיר עַל־עֵבֶר פָּנֶֽיהָ׃ | 37 |
and you have made its seven lamps, and [one] has caused its lamps to go up, and it has given light over [and] beyond its front.
| וּמַלְקָחֶיהָ וּמַחְתֹּתֶיהָ זָהָב טָהֽוֹר׃ | 38 |
And its snuffers and its snuff dishes [are] of pure gold;
| כִּכָּר זָהָב טָהוֹר יַעֲשֶׂה אֹתָהּ אֵת כָּל־הַכֵּלִים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ | 39 |
he makes it of a talent of pure gold, with all these vessels.
| וּרְאֵה וַעֲשֵׂה בְּתַבְנִיתָם אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּה מָרְאֶה בָּהָֽר׃ | 40 |
Now see and make [them] by their pattern which you are shown on the mountain.”
