דברי הימים א 8

1 וּבִנְיָמִן הוֹלִיד אֶת־בֶּלַע בְּכֹרוֹ אַשְׁבֵּל הַשֵּׁנִי וְאַחְרַח הַשְּׁלִישִֽׁי׃

And Benjamin became the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

2 נוֹחָה הָֽרְבִיעִי וְרָפָא הַחֲמִישִֽׁי׃

Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

3 וַיִּהְיוּ בָנִים לְבָלַע אַדָּר וְגֵרָא וַאֲבִיהֽוּד׃

And Bela had sons: Ard, and Gera, the father of Ehud.

4 וַאֲבִישׁוּעַ וְנַעֲמָן וַאֲחֽוֹחַ׃

These are the sons of Ehud: Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahijah,

5 וְגֵרָא וּשְׁפוּפָן וְחוּרָֽם׃

and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

6 וְאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אֵחוּד אֵלֶּה הֵם רָאשֵׁי אָבוֹת לְיוֹשְׁבֵי גֶבַע וַיַּגְלוּם אֶל־מָנָֽחַת׃

They are the heads of ancestral houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them captive to Manahath.

7 וְנַעֲמָן וַאֲחִיָּה וְגֵרָא הוּא הֶגְלָם וְהוֹלִיד אֶת־עֻזָּא וְאֶת־אֲחִיחֻֽד׃

And Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera, he sent them into exile. And Gera became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.

8 וְשַׁחֲרַיִם הוֹלִיד בִּשְׂדֵה מוֹאָב מִן־שִׁלְחוֹ אֹתָם חוּשִׁים וְאֶֽת־בַּעֲרָא נָשָֽׁיו׃

And Shaharaim became the father of children in the field of Moab after he had sent away his wives Hushim and Baara.

9 וַיּוֹלֶד מִן־חֹדֶשׁ אִשְׁתּוֹ אֶת־יוֹבָב וְאֶת־צִבְיָא וְאֶת־מֵישָׁא וְאֶת־מַלְכָּֽם׃

He became the father of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malkam,

10 וְאֶת־יְעוּץ וְאֶת־שָֽׂכְיָה וְאֶת־מִרְמָה אֵלֶּה בָנָיו רָאשֵׁי אָבֽוֹת׃

and Jeuz, and Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of ancestral houses.

11 וּמֵחֻשִׁים הוֹלִיד אֶת־אֲבִיטוּב וְאֶת־אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃

Of Hushim he became the father of Abitub and Elpaal.

12 וּבְנֵי אֶלְפַּעַל עֵבֶר וּמִשְׁעָם וָשָׁמֶד הוּא בָּנָה אֶת־אוֹנוֹ וְאֶת־לֹד וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃

The sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemer (who built Ono and Lod, with its towns),

13 וּבְרִעָה וָשֶׁמַע הֵמָּה רָאשֵׁי הָאָבוֹת לְיוֹשְׁבֵי אַיָּלוֹן הֵמָּה הִבְרִיחוּ אֶת־יוֹשְׁבֵי גַֽת׃

and Beriah, and Shema, who were heads of ancestral houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon (who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath);

14 וְאַחְיוֹ שָׁשָׁק וִירֵמֽוֹת׃

and their brothers, Shashak and Jeremoth.

15 וּזְבַדְיָה וַעֲרָד וָעָֽדֶר׃

And Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder,

16 וּמִיכָאֵל וְיִשְׁפָּה וְיוֹחָא בְּנֵי בְרִיעָֽה׃

and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

17 וּזְבַדְיָה וּמְשֻׁלָּם וְחִזְקִי וָחָֽבֶר׃

And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber,

18 וְיִשְׁמְרַי וְיִזְלִיאָה וְיוֹבָב בְּנֵי אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃

and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

19 וְיָקִים וְזִכְרִי וְזַבְדִּֽי׃

And Jakim, and Zikri, and Zabdi,

20 וֶאֱלִיעֵנַי וְצִלְּתַי וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃

and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,

21 וַעֲדָיָה וּבְרָאיָה וְשִׁמְרָת בְּנֵי שִׁמְעִֽי׃

and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

22 וְיִשְׁפָּן וָעֵבֶר וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃

And Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel,

23 וְעַבְדּוֹן וְזִכְרִי וְחָנָֽן׃

and Abdon, and Zikri, and Hanan,

24 וַחֲנַנְיָה וְעֵילָם וְעַנְתֹתִיָּֽה׃

and Hananiah, and Omri, and Elam, and Anthothijah,

25 וְיִפְדְיָה ופניאל וּפְנוּאֵל בְּנֵי שָׁשָֽׁק׃

and Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

26 וְשַׁמְשְׁרַי וּשְׁחַרְיָה וַעֲתַלְיָֽה׃

And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,

27 וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָה וְאֵלִיָּה וְזִכְרִי בְּנֵי יְרֹחָֽם׃

and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zikri were the sons of Jeroham.

28 אֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי אָבוֹת לְתֹלְדוֹתָם רָאשִׁים אֵלֶּה יָשְׁבוּ בִירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃

These were heads of ancestral houses throughout their generations, chief men: these lived in Jerusalem.

29 וּבְגִבְעוֹן יָשְׁבוּ אֲבִי גִבְעוֹן וְשֵׁם אִשְׁתּוֹ מַעֲכָֽה׃

And in Gibeon lived Jeiel, the father of Gibeon, whose wife's name was Maacah;

30 וּבְנוֹ הַבְּכוֹר עַבְדּוֹן וְצוּר וְקִישׁ וּבַעַל וְנָדָֽב׃

and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,

31 וּגְדוֹר וְאַחְיוֹ וָזָֽכֶר׃

and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher and Mikloth.

32 וּמִקְלוֹת הוֹלִיד אֶת־שִׁמְאָה וְאַף־הֵמָּה נֶגֶד אֲחֵיהֶם יָשְׁבוּ בִירוּשָׁלַ͏ִם עִם־אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃

Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. They also lived with their brothers in Jerusalem, over against their brothers.

33 וְנֵר הוֹלִיד אֶת־קִישׁ וְקִישׁ הוֹלִיד אֶת־שָׁאוּל וְשָׁאוּל הוֹלִיד אֶת־יְהֽוֹנָתָן וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁוּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִֽינָדָב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃

Ner became the father of Kish; and Kish became the father of Saul; and Saul became the father of Jonathan, and Malkishua, and Abinadab, and Ishbaal.

34 וּבֶן־יְהוֹנָתָן מְרִיב בָּעַל וּמְרִיב בַּעַל הוֹלִיד אֶת־מִיכָֽה׃

The son of Jonathan was Mippibaal; and Mippibaal became the father of Micah.

35 וּבְנֵי מִיכָה פִּיתוֹן וָמֶלֶךְ וְתַאְרֵעַ וְאָחָֽז׃

The sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.

36 וְאָחָז הוֹלִיד אֶת־יְהוֹעַדָּה וִיהֽוֹעַדָּה הוֹלִיד אֶת־עָלֶמֶת וְאֶת־עַזְמָוֶת וְאֶת־זִמְרִי וְזִמְרִי הוֹלִיד אֶת־מוֹצָֽא׃

Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza.

37 וּמוֹצָא הוֹלִיד אֶת־בִּנְעָא רָפָה בְנוֹ אֶלְעָשָׂה בְנוֹ אָצֵל בְּנֽוֹ׃

Moza became the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

38 וּלְאָצֵל שִׁשָּׁה בָנִים וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹתָם עַזְרִיקָם ׀ בֹּכְרוּ וְיִשְׁמָעֵאל וּשְׁעַרְיָה וְעֹבַדְיָה וְחָנָן כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אָצַֽל׃

Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, his firstborn, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Azariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

39 וּבְנֵי עֵשֶׁק אָחִיו אוּלָם בְּכֹרוֹ יְעוּשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי וֽ͏ֶאֱלִיפֶלֶט הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃

The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40 וַֽיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־אוּלָם אֲנָשִׁים גִּבֹּרֵי־חַיִל דֹּרְכֵי קֶשֶׁת וּמַרְבִּים בָּנִים וּבְנֵי בָנִים מֵאָה וַחֲמִשִּׁים כָּל־אֵלֶּה מִבְּנֵי בִנְיָמִֽן׃

The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, one hundred fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
