| הוֹד֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה כִּי־ט֑וֹב כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 1 |
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ה֭וֹדוּ לֵֽאלֹהֵ֣י הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 2 |
Thank God, the one who is greater than all other gods; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ה֭וֹדוּ לַאֲדֹנֵ֣י הָאֲדֹנִ֑ים כִּ֖י לְעֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 3 |
Thank the Lord who is greater than all other lords/rulers; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְעֹ֘שֵׂ֤ה נִפְלָא֣וֹת גְּדֹל֣וֹת לְבַדּ֑וֹ כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 4 |
He is the only one who performs great miracles; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְעֹשֵׂ֣ה הַ֭שָּׁמַיִם בִּתְבוּנָ֑ה כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 5 |
He is the one who by being very wise created the heavens; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְרֹקַ֣ע הָ֭אָרֶץ עַל־הַמָּ֑יִם כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 6 |
He is the one who caused the ground to rise up above the deep waters; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְ֭עֹשֵׂה אוֹרִ֣ים גְּדֹלִ֑ים כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 7 |
He is the one who created great lights [in the sky]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| אֶת־הַ֭שֶּׁמֶשׁ לְמֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶת בַּיּ֑וֹם כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 8 |
He created the sun to shine in the daytime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| אֶת־הַיָּרֵ֣חַ וְ֭כוֹכָבִים לְמֶמְשְׁל֣וֹת בַּלָּ֑יְלָה כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 9 |
He created the moon and stars to shine during the nighttime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְמַכֵּ֣ה מִ֭צְרַיִם בִּבְכוֹרֵיהֶ֑ם כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 10 |
He is the one who killed the firstborn [males] in Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| וַיּוֹצֵ֣א יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל מִתּוֹכָ֑ם כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 11 |
He led the Israeli people out of Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| בְּיָ֣ד חֲ֭זָקָה וּבִזְר֣וֹעַ נְטוּיָ֑ה כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 12 |
With his (strong hand/great power) he led them out; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְגֹזֵ֣ר יַם־ס֭וּף לִגְזָרִ֑ים כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 13 |
He is the one who caused the Red Sea to divide; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| וְהֶעֱבִ֣יר יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל בְּתוֹכ֑וֹ כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 14 |
He enabled the Israeli people to walk through it [on dry land]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| וְנִ֘עֵ֤ר פַּרְעֹ֣ה וְחֵיל֣וֹ בְיַם־ס֑וּף כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 15 |
But he caused the king of Egypt and his army to drown in it; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְמוֹלִ֣יךְ עַ֭מּוֹ בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 16 |
He is the one who led his people [safely through the desert]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְ֭מַכֵּה מְלָכִ֣ים גְּדֹלִ֑ים כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 17 |
He killed powerful kings; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| וַֽ֭יַּהֲרֹג מְלָכִ֣ים אַדִּירִ֑ים כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 18 |
He killed kings who were famous; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| לְ֭סִיחוֹן מֶ֣לֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִ֑י כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 19 |
He killed Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| וּ֭לְעוֹג מֶ֣לֶךְ הַבָּשָׁ֑ן כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 20 |
He killed Og, the king of Bashan [region]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| וְנָתַ֣ן אַרְצָ֣ם לְנַחֲלָ֑ה כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 21 |
He gave their lands to us, his people; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| נַ֭חֲלָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עַבְדּ֑וֹ כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 22 |
He gave those lands to us people of Israel, who serve him; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| שֶׁ֭בְּשִׁפְלֵנוּ זָ֣כַר לָ֑נוּ כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 23 |
He is the one who did not forget about us when we were defeated [by our enemies]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| וַיִּפְרְקֵ֥נוּ מִצָּרֵ֑ינוּ כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 24 |
He rescued us from our enemies; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| נֹתֵ֣ן לֶ֭חֶם לְכָל־בָּשָׂ֑ר כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 25 |
He is the one who gives food to all living creatures; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
| ה֭וֹדוּ לְאֵ֣ל הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם כִּ֖י לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ | 26 |
[So] thank God, [who lives in] heaven, [for all those things], because his faithful love [for us] endures forever!
