1 דִּבְרֵי הַיָּמִים 9
| וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הִתְיַחְשׂ֔וּ וְהִנָּ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֔ים עַל־סֵ֖פֶר מַלְכֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וִיהוּדָ֛ה הָגְל֥וּ לְבָבֶ֖ל בְּמַעֲלָֽם׃ ס | 1 |
And all Israel they had themselves enrolled and there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel and Judah they were taken into exile to Babylon in unfaithfulness their.
| וְהַיּוֹשְׁבִים֙ הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּאֲחֻזָּתָ֖ם בְּעָרֵיהֶ֑ם יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים הַלְוִיִּ֖ם וְהַנְּתִינִֽים׃ | 2 |
And the inhabitants first who [were] in possession their in cities their [were] Israel the priests the Levites and the temple servants.
| וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ יָשְׁב֔וּ מִן־בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה וּמִן־בְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן וּמִן־בְּנֵ֥י אֶפְרַ֖יִם וּמְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ | 3 |
And in Jerusalem they dwelt some of [the] descendants of Judah and some of [the] descendants of Benjamin and some of [the] descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh.
| עוּתַ֨י בֶּן־עַמִּיה֤וּד בֶּן־עָמְרִי֙ בֶּן־אִמְרִ֣י בֶן־בָּנִ֔י מִן בְּנֵי־פֶ֖רֶץ בֶּן־יְהוּדָֽה׃ | 4 |
Uthai [the] son of Ammihud [the] son of Omri [the] son of Imri [the] son of (Bani from *Q(K)*) [the] descendants of Perez [the] son of Judah.
| וּמִן־הַשִּׁ֣ילוֹנִ֔י עֲשָׂיָ֥ה הַבְּכ֖וֹר וּבָנָֽיו׃ | 5 |
And of the Shilonite[s] Asaiah the firstborn and sons his.
| וּמִן־בְּנֵי־זֶ֖רַח יְעוּאֵ֑ל וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם שֵׁשׁ־מֵא֥וֹת וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃ | 6 |
And of [the] descendants of Zerah Jeuel and relatives their six hundred and ninety.
| וּמִן־בְּנֵ֖י בִּנְיָמִ֑ן סַלּוּא֙ בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֔ם בֶּן־הוֹדַוְיָ֖ה בֶּן־הַסְּנֻאָֽה׃ | 7 |
And of [the] descendants of Benjamin Sallu [the] son of Meshullam [the] son of Hodaviah [the] son of Senaah.
| וְיִבְנְיָה֙ בֶּן־יְרֹחָ֔ם וְאֵלָ֥ה בֶן־עֻזִּ֖י בֶּן־מִכְרִ֑י וּמְשֻׁלָּם֙ בֶּן־שְׁפַטְיָ֔ה בֶּן־רְעוּאֵ֖ל בֶּן־יִבְנִיָּֽה׃ | 8 |
And Ibneiah [the] son of Jeroham and Elah [the] son of Uzzi [the] son of Mikri and Meshullam [the] son of Shephatiah [the] son of Reuel [the] son of Ibnijah.
| וַאֲחֵיהֶם֙ לְתֹ֣לְדוֹתָ֔ם תְּשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֑ה כָּל־אֵ֣לֶּה אֲנָשִׁ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֖וֹת לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ ס | 9 |
And relatives their to generations their nine hundred and fifty and six all these men [were] chiefs of fathers to [the] house of ancestors their.
| וּמִן־הַֽכֹּהֲנִ֑ים יְדַֽעְיָ֥ה וִיהוֹיָרִ֖יב וְיָכִֽין׃ | 10 |
And of the priests Jedaiah and Jehoiarib and Jakin.
| וַעֲזַרְיָ֨ה בֶן־חִלְקִיָּ֜ה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם בֶּן־צָד֗וֹק בֶּן־מְרָיוֹת֙ בֶּן־אֲחִיט֔וּב נְגִ֖יד בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ ס | 11 |
And Azariah [the] son of Hilkiah [the] son of Meshullam [the] son of Zadok [the] son of Meraioth [the] son of Ahitub [the] leader of [the] house of God.
| וַעֲדָיָה֙ בֶּן־יְרֹחָ֔ם בֶּן־פַּשְׁח֖וּר בֶּן־מַלְכִּיָּ֑ה וּמַעְשַׂ֨י בֶּן־עֲדִיאֵ֧ל בֶּן־יַחְזֵ֛רָה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֥ם בֶּן־מְשִׁלֵּמִ֖ית בֶּן־אִמֵּֽר׃ | 12 |
And Adaiah [the] son of Jeroham [the] son of Pashhur [the] son of Malkijah and Maasai [the] son of Adiel [the] son of Jahzerah [the] son of Meshullam [the] son of Meshillemith [the] son of Immer.
| וַאֲחֵיהֶ֗ם רָאשִׁים֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבוֹתָ֔ם אֶ֕לֶף וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וְשִׁשִּׁ֑ים גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חֵ֔יל מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ | 13 |
And relatives their chiefs of [the] house of ancestors their one thousand and seven hundred and sixty mighty [men] of ability of [the] work of [the] service of [the] house of God.
| וּמִֽן־הַלְוִיִּ֑ם שְׁמַֽעְיָ֧ה בֶן־חַשּׁ֛וּב בֶּן־עַזְרִיקָ֥ם בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָ֖ה מִן־בְּנֵ֥י מְרָרִֽי׃ | 14 |
And of the Levites Shemaiah [the] son of Hasshub [the] son of Azrikam [the] son of Hashabiah of [the] descendants of Merari.
| וּבַקְבַּקַּ֥ר חֶ֖רֶשׁ וְגָלָ֑ל וּמַתַּנְיָה֙ בֶּן־מִיכָ֔א בֶּן־זִכְרִ֖י בֶּן־אָסָֽף׃ | 15 |
And Bakbakkar Heresh and Galal and Mattaniah [the] son of Mica [the] son of Zikri [the] son of Asaph.
| וְעֹבַדְיָה֙ בֶּֽן־שְׁמַֽעְיָ֔ה בֶּן־גָּלָ֖ל בֶּן־יְדוּת֑וּן וּבֶרֶכְיָ֤ה בֶן־אָסָא֙ בֶּן־אֶלְקָנָ֔ה הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּחַצְרֵ֥י נְטוֹפָתִֽי׃ | 16 |
And Obadiah [the] son of Shemaiah [the] son of Galal [the] son of Jeduthun and Berekiah [the] son of Asa [the] son of Elkanah who dwelt in [the] villages of [the] Netophathite[s].
| וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִים֙ שַׁלּ֣וּם וְעַקּ֔וּב וְטַלְמֹ֖ן וַאֲחִימָ֑ן וַאֲחִיהֶ֥ם שַׁלּ֖וּם הָרֹֽאשׁ׃ | 17 |
And the gatekeepers Shallum and Akkub and Talmon and Ahiman and brother their Shallum [was] the chief.
| וְֽעַד־הֵ֔נָּה בְּשַׁ֥עַר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מִזְרָ֑חָה הֵ֚מָּה הַשֹּׁ֣עֲרִ֔ים לְמַחֲנ֖וֹת בְּנֵ֥י לֵוִֽי׃ | 18 |
And until now in [the] gate of the king east-ward they [were] the gatekeepers of [the] camps of [the] descendants of Levi.
| וְשַׁלּ֣וּם בֶּן־ק֠וֹרֵא בֶּן־אֶבְיָסָ֨ף בֶּן־קֹ֜רַח וְֽאֶחָ֧יו לְבֵית־אָבִ֣יו הַקָּרְחִ֗ים עַ֚ל מְלֶ֣אכֶת הָעֲבוֹדָ֔ה שֹׁמְרֵ֥י הַסִּפִּ֖ים לָאֹ֑הֶל וַאֲבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ עַל־מַחֲנֵ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה שֹׁמְרֵ֖י הַמָּבֽוֹא׃ | 19 |
And Shallum [the] son of Kore [the] son of Ebiasaph [the] son of Korah and relatives his of [the] house of father his the Korahites [were] over [the] work of the service [the] keepers of the thresholds of the tent and ancestors their [had been] over [the] camp of Yahweh [the] keepers of the entrance.
| וּפִֽינְחָ֣ס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָ֗ר נָגִ֨יד הָיָ֧ה עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם לְפָנִ֖ים יְהוָ֥ה ׀ עִמּֽוֹ׃ | 20 |
And Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar a leader he had been over them before Yahweh - [was] with him.
| זְכַרְיָה֙ בֶּ֣ן מְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֔ה שֹׁעֵ֥ר פֶּ֖תַח לְאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | 21 |
Zechariah [the] son of Meshelemiah [was] a gatekeeper of [the] entrance of [the] tent of meeting.
| כֻּלָּ֤ם הַבְּרוּרִים֙ לְשֹׁעֲרִ֣ים בַּסִּפִּ֔ים מָאתַ֖יִם וּשְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֑ר הֵ֤מָּה בְחַצְרֵיהֶם֙ הִתְיַחְשָׂ֔ם הֵ֣מָּה יִסַּ֥ד דָּוִ֛יד וּשְׁמוּאֵ֥ל הָרֹאֶ֖ה בֶּאֱמוּנָתָֽם׃ | 22 |
All of them who had been chosen to gatekeepers at the thresholds [were] two hundred and two [plus] ten they [was] in villages their recording genealogy they them he had appointed David and Samuel the seer in faithfulness their.
| וְהֵ֨ם וּבְנֵיהֶ֜ם עַל־הַשְּׁעָרִ֧ים לְבֵית־יְהוָ֛ה לְבֵ֥ית־הָאֹ֖הֶל לְמִשְׁמָרֽוֹת׃ | 23 |
And they and descendants their [were] over the gates of [the] house of Yahweh of [the] house of the tent to guards.
| לְאַרְבַּ֣ע רוּח֔וֹת יִהְי֖וּ הַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑ים מִזְרָ֥ח יָ֖מָּה צָפ֥וֹנָה וָנֶֽגְבָּה׃ | 24 |
To four sides they were the gatekeepers [the] east west-ward north-ward and south-ward.
| וַאֲחֵיהֶ֨ם בְּחַצְרֵיהֶ֜ם לָב֨וֹא לְשִׁבְעַ֧ת הַיָּמִ֛ים מֵעֵ֥ת אֶל־עֵ֖ת עִם־אֵֽלֶּה׃ | 25 |
And relatives their in villages their [were] to come for [the] seven the days from time to time with these.
| כִּ֣י בֶאֱמוּנָ֞ה הֵ֗מָּה אַרְבַּ֙עַת֙ גִּבֹּרֵ֣י הַשֹּׁעֲרִ֔ים הֵ֖ם הַלְוִיִּ֑ם וְהָיוּ֙ עַל־הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת וְעַ֥ל הָאֹצְר֖וֹת בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ | 26 |
For in faithfulness they [the] four [the] mighty [ones] of the gatekeepers they [were] the Levites and they were over the store-rooms and over the treasuries of [the] house of God.
| וּסְבִיב֥וֹת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים יָלִ֑ינוּ כִּֽי־עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם מִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת וְהֵ֥ם עַל־הַמַּפְתֵּ֖חַ וְלַבֹּ֥קֶר לַבֹּֽקֶר׃ | 27 |
And around [the] house of God they spent [the] night for [was] on them a duty and they [were] over the key and to the morning to the morning.
| וּמֵהֶ֖ם עַל־כְּלֵ֣י הָעֲבוֹדָ֑ה כִּֽי־בְמִסְפָּ֣ר יְבִיא֔וּם וּבְמִסְפָּ֖ר יוֹצִיאֽוּם׃ | 28 |
And some of them [were] over [the] articles of the service for by number they brought them and by number they took out them.
| וּמֵהֶ֗ם מְמֻנִּים֙ עַל־הַכֵּלִ֔ים וְעַ֖ל כָּל־כְּלֵ֣י הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְעַל־הַסֹּ֙לֶת֙ וְהַיַּ֣יִן וְהַשֶּׁ֔מֶן וְהַלְּבוֹנָ֖ה וְהַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃ | 29 |
And some of them [were] appointed over the articles and over all [the] articles of the holy place and over the fine flour and the wine and the oil and the frankincense and the spices.
| וּמִן־בְּנֵי֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים רֹקְחֵ֥י הַמִּרְקַ֖חַת לַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃ | 30 |
And some of [the] sons of the priests [were those who] mixed the mixture of the spices.
| וּמַתִּתְיָה֙ מִן־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם ה֥וּא הַבְּכ֖וֹר לְשַׁלֻּ֣ם הַקָּרְחִ֑י בֶּאֱמוּנָ֕ה עַ֖ל מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה הַחֲבִתִּֽים׃ | 31 |
And Mattithiah one of the Levites he [was] the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite in faithfulness [was] over [the] work of the flat cakes.
| וּמִן־בְּנֵ֧י הַקְּהָתִ֛י מִן־אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם עַל־לֶ֣חֶם הַֽמַּעֲרָ֑כֶת לְהָכִ֖ין שַׁבַּ֥ת שַׁבָּֽת׃ ס | 32 |
And some of [the] sons of the Kohathite[s] some of relatives their [were] over [the] bread of the row to prepare [it] sabbath sabbath.
| וְאֵ֣לֶּה הַ֠מְשֹׁרְרִים רָאשֵׁ֨י אָב֧וֹת לַלְוִיִּ֛ם בַּלְּשָׁכֹ֖ת פְּטוּרִ֑ים כִּֽי־יוֹמָ֥ם וָלַ֛יְלָה עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם בַּמְּלָאכָֽה׃ | 33 |
And these the singers [the] chiefs of fathers of the Levites [were] in the rooms (set free *Q(K)*) for by day and night [was] on them in the work.
| אֵלֶּה֩ רָאשֵׁ֨י הָאָב֧וֹת לַלְוִיִּ֛ם לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם רָאשִׁ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ פ | 34 |
These [were] [the] chiefs of the fathers of the Levites to generations their chiefs these they dwelt in Jerusalem.
| וּבְגִבְע֛וֹן יָשְׁב֥וּ אֲבִֽי־גִבְע֖וֹן יְעִיאֵ֑ל וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מַעֲכָֽה׃ | 35 |
And in Gibeon they dwelt [the] father of Gibeon (Jeiel *Q(K)*) and [the] name of wife his [was] Maacah.
| וּבְנ֥וֹ הַבְּכ֖וֹר עַבְדּ֑וֹן וְצ֣וּר וְקִ֔ישׁ וּבַ֥עַל וְנֵ֖ר וְנָדָֽב׃ | 36 |
And son his the firstborn [was] Abdon and Zur and Kish and Baal and Ner and Nadab.
| וּגְד֣וֹר וְאַחְי֔וֹ וּזְכַרְיָ֖ה וּמִקְלֽוֹת׃ | 37 |
And Gedor and Ahio and Zechariah and Mikloth.
| וּמִקְל֖וֹת הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שִׁמְאָ֑ם וְאַף־הֵ֗ם נֶ֧גֶד אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עִם־אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ ס | 38 |
And Mikloth he fathered Shimeam and also they before relatives their they dwelt in Jerusalem with relatives their.
| וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃ | 39 |
And Ner he fathered Kish and Kish he fathered Saul and Saul he fathered Jonathan and Malki-Shua and Abinadab and Eshbaal.
| וּבֶן־יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל וּמְרִי־בַ֖עַל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־מִיכָֽה׃ | 40 |
And [the] son of Jonathan [was] Merib-baal and Meri-baal he fathered Micah.
| וּבְנֵ֖י מִיכָ֑ה פִּית֥וֹן וָמֶ֖לֶךְ וְתַחְרֵֽעַ׃ וְאָחָֽז׃ | 41 |
And [the] sons of Micah Pithon and Melech and Tahrea. (And Ahaz. *X*)
| וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־יַעְרָ֔ה וְיַעְרָ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת־עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת־זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־מוֹצָֽא׃ | 42 |
And Ahaz he fathered Jarah and Jarah he fathered Alemeth and Azmaveth and Zimri and Zimri he fathered Moza.
| וּמוֹצָ֖א הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־בִּנְעָ֑א וּרְפָיָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אָצֵ֥ל בְּנֽוֹ׃ | 43 |
And Moza he fathered Binea and Rephaiah son his Eleasah son his Azel son his.
| וּלְאָצֵל֮ שִׁשָּׁ֣ה בָנִים֒ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עַזְרִיקָ֥ם ׀ בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה וְחָנָ֑ן אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י אָצַֽל׃ פ | 44 |
And [belonged] to Azel six sons and these [are] names their Azrikam - Bocheru and Ishmael and Sheariah and Obadiah and Hanan these [were] [the] sons of Azel.
