תְהִלִּים 87

1 לִבְנֵי־קֹ֖רַח מִזְמֹ֣ור שִׁ֑יר יְ֝סוּדָתֹ֗ו בְּהַרְרֵי־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

Of the Korahites, a psalm. A song. On the holy mountain stands the city he founded.

2 אֹהֵ֣ב יְ֭הוָה שַׁעֲרֵ֣י צִיֹּ֑ון מִ֝כֹּ֗ל מִשְׁכְּנֹ֥ות יַעֲקֹֽב׃

The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 נִ֭כְבָּדֹות מְדֻבָּ֣ר בָּ֑ךְ עִ֖יר הָאֱלֹהִ֣ים סֶֽלָה׃

Glorious things he is speaking of you, you city of God. (Selah)

4 אַזְכִּ֤יר ׀ רַ֥הַב וּבָבֶ֗ל לְֽיֹ֫דְעָ֥י הִנֵּ֤ה פְלֶ֣שֶׁת וְצֹ֣ור עִם־כּ֑וּשׁ זֶ֝֗ה יֻלַּד־שָֽׁם׃

“Among those who are mine I name Rahab and Babylon, Philistia, Tyre, Ethiopia, their people will say I was born in Zion.

5 וּֽלֲצִיֹּ֨ון ׀ יֵאָמַ֗ר אִ֣ישׁ וְ֭אִישׁ יֻלַּד־בָּ֑הּ וְה֖וּא יְכֹונְנֶ֣הָ עֶלְיֹֽון׃

As for Zion it will be said each and all were born in her.” The Lord will preserve her.

6 יְֽהוָ֗ה יִ֭סְפֹּר בִּכְתֹ֣וב עַמִּ֑ים זֶ֖ה יֻלַּד־שָׁ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃

The Lord will count, when enrolling the peoples, “This one was born there, and that one was born there.” (Selah)

7 וְשָׁרִ֥ים כְּחֹלְלִ֑ים כָּֽל־מַעְיָנַ֥י בָּֽךְ׃

Singers and dancers alike will say “All my springs are in you.”
