תְהִלִּים 76

1 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ בִּנְגִינֹ֑ת מִזְמֹ֖ור לְאָסָ֣ף שִֽׁיר׃ נֹודָ֣ע בִּֽיהוּדָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֑ים בְּ֝יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל גָּדֹ֥ול שְׁמֹֽו׃

TO THE OVERSEER. WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS. A PSALM OF ASAPH. A SONG. God [is] known in Judah, His Name [is] great in Israel.

2 וַיְהִ֣י בְשָׁלֵ֣ם סֻכֹּ֑ו וּמְעֹ֖ונָתֹ֣ו בְצִיֹּֽון׃

And His dwelling place is in Salem, And His habitation in Zion.

3 שָׁ֭מָּה שִׁבַּ֣ר רִשְׁפֵי־קָ֑שֶׁת מָגֵ֬ן וְחֶ֖רֶב וּמִלְחָמָ֣ה סֶֽלָה׃

There He has shattered arrows of a bow, Shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)

4 נָ֭אֹור אַתָּ֥ה אַדִּ֗יר מֵֽהַרְרֵי־טָֽרֶף׃

You [are] bright, majestic above hills of prey.

5 אֶשְׁתֹּולְל֨וּ ׀ אַבִּ֣ירֵי לֵ֭ב נָמ֣וּ שְׁנָתָ֑ם וְלֹא־מָצְא֖וּ כָל־אַנְשֵׁי־חַ֣יִל יְדֵיהֶֽם׃

The mighty of heart have spoiled themselves, They have slept their sleep, And none of the men of might found their hands.

6 מִ֭גַּעֲרָ֣תְךָ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֑ב נִ֝רְדָּ֗ם וְרֶ֣כֶב וָסֽוּס׃

From Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both rider and horse have been fast asleep.

7 אַתָּ֤ה ׀ נֹ֥ורָא אַ֗תָּה וּמִֽי־יַעֲמֹ֥ד לְפָנֶ֗יךָ מֵאָ֥ז אַפֶּֽךָ׃

You, fearful [are] You, And who stands before You, Since You have been angry?

8 מִ֭שָּׁמַיִם הִשְׁמַ֣עְתָּ דִּ֑ין אֶ֖רֶץ יָֽרְאָ֣ה וְשָׁקָֽטָה׃

You have sounded judgment from the heavens, Earth has feared, and has been still,

9 בְּקוּם־לַמִּשְׁפָּ֥ט אֱלֹהִ֑ים לְהֹושִׁ֖יעַ כָּל־עַנְוֵי־אֶ֣רֶץ סֶֽלָה׃

In the rising of God to judgment, To save all the humble of earth. (Selah)

10 כִּֽי־חֲמַ֣ת אָדָ֣ם תֹּודֶ֑ךָּ שְׁאֵרִ֖ית חֵמֹ֣ת תַּחְגֹּֽר׃

For the fierceness of man praises You, You gird on the remnant of fierceness.

11 נִֽדֲר֣וּ וְשַׁלְּמוּ֮ לַיהוָ֪ה אֱ‍ֽלֹהֵ֫יכֶ֥ם כָּל־סְבִיבָ֑יו יֹובִ֥ילוּ שַׁ֝֗י לַמֹּורָֽא׃

Vow and complete to your God YHWH, All you surrounding Him, They bring presents to the Fearful One.

12 יִ֭בְצֹר ר֣וּחַ נְגִידִ֑ים נֹ֝ורָ֗א לְמַלְכֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃

He gathers the spirit of leaders, Fearful to the kings of earth!
