תְהִלִּים 3
| מִזְמֹ֥ור לְדָוִ֑ד בְּ֝בָרְחֹ֗ו מִפְּנֵ֤י ׀ אַבְשָׁלֹ֬ום בְּנֹֽו׃ יְ֭הוָה מָֽה־רַבּ֣וּ צָרָ֑י רַ֝בִּ֗ים קָמִ֥ים עָלָֽי׃ | 1 |
Adonai, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me.
| רַבִּים֮ אֹמְרִ֪ים לְנַ֫פְשִׁ֥י אֵ֤ין יְֽשׁוּעָ֓תָה לֹּ֬ו בֵֽאלֹהִ֬ים סֶֽלָה׃ | 2 |
Many there are who say of my soul, “There is no yishu'ah ·salvation· for him in God.” (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·
| וְאַתָּ֣ה יְ֭הוָה מָגֵ֣ן בַּעֲדִ֑י כְּ֝בֹודִ֗י וּמֵרִ֥ים רֹאשִֽׁי׃ | 3 |
But you, Adonai, are a shield around me, my kavod ·weighty glory·, and the one who lifts up my head.
| קֹ֭ולִי אֶל־יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָ֑א וַיַּֽעֲנֵ֨נִי מֵהַ֖ר קָדְשֹׁ֣ו סֶֽלָה׃ | 4 |
I cry to Adonai with my voice, and he answers me out of his holy hill. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·
| אֲנִ֥י שָׁכַ֗בְתִּי וָֽאִ֫ישָׁ֥נָה הֱקִיצֹ֑ותִי כִּ֖י יְהוָ֣ה יִסְמְכֵֽנִי׃ | 5 |
I laid myself down and slept. I awakened; for Adonai sustains me.
| לֹֽא־אִ֭ירָא מֵרִבְבֹ֥ות עָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר סָ֝בִ֗יב שָׁ֣תוּ עָלָֽי׃ | 6 |
I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.
| ק֘וּמָ֤ה יְהוָ֨ה ׀ הֹושִׁ֘יעֵ֤נִי אֱלֹהַ֗י כִּֽי־הִכִּ֣יתָ אֶת־כָּל־אֹיְבַ֣י לֶ֑חִי שִׁנֵּ֖י רְשָׁעִ֣ים שִׁבַּֽרְתָּ׃ | 7 |
Arise, Adonai! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.
| לַיהוָ֥ה הַיְשׁוּעָ֑ה עַֽל־עַמְּךָ֖ בִרְכָתֶ֣ךָ סֶּֽלָה׃ | 8 |
Yishu'ah ·Salvation· belongs to Adonai. Your blessing be on your people. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·
