תְהִלִּים 29

1 מִזְמֹ֗ור לְדָ֫וִ֥ד הָב֣וּ לֽ͏ַ֭יהוָה בְּנֵ֣י אֵלִ֑ים הָב֥וּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה כָּבֹ֥וד וָעֹֽז׃

Ascribe to Jehovah, O ye sons of the mighty, ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength.

2 הָב֣וּ לַֽ֭יהוָה כְּבֹ֣וד שְׁמֹ֑ו הִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לַ֝יהוָ֗ה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

Ascribe to Jehovah the glory due to his name. Worship Jehovah in holy array.

3 קֹ֥ול יְהוָ֗ה עַל־הַ֫מָּ֥יִם אֵֽל־הַכָּבֹ֥וד הִרְעִ֑ים יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַל־מַ֥יִם רַבִּֽים׃

The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters. The God of glory thunders, even Jehovah upon many waters.

4 קֹול־יְהוָ֥ה בַּכֹּ֑חַ קֹ֥ול יְ֝הוָ֗ה בֶּהָדָֽר׃

The voice of Jehovah is powerful. The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

5 קֹ֣ול יְ֭הוָה שֹׁבֵ֣ר אֲרָזִ֑ים וַיְשַׁבֵּ֥ר יְ֝הוָ֗ה אֶת־אַרְזֵ֥י הַלְּבָנֹֽון׃

The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars. Yea, Jehovah breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

6 וַיַּרְקִידֵ֥ם כְּמֹו־עֵ֑גֶל לְבָנֹ֥ון וְ֝שִׂרְיֹ֗ן כְּמֹ֣ו בֶן־רְאֵמִֽים׃

He makes them also to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

7 קֹול־יְהוָ֥ה חֹצֵ֗ב לַהֲבֹ֥ות אֵֽשׁ׃

The voice of Jehovah splits the flames of fire.

8 קֹ֣ול יְ֭הוָה יָחִ֣יל מִדְבָּ֑ר יָחִ֥יל יְ֝הוָ֗ה מִדְבַּ֥ר קָדֵֽשׁ׃

The voice of Jehovah shakes the wilderness. Jehovah shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 קֹ֤ול יְהוָ֨ה ׀ יְחֹולֵ֣ל אַיָּלֹות֮ וַֽיֶּחֱשֹׂ֪ף יְעָ֫רֹ֥ות וּבְהֵיכָלֹ֑ו כֻּ֝לֹּ֗ו אֹמֵ֥ר כָּבֹֽוד׃

The voice of Jehovah makes the hinds to calve, and strips the forests bare. And in his temple everything says, Glory.

10 יְ֭הוָה לַמַּבּ֣וּל יָשָׁ֑ב וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב יְ֝הוָ֗ה מֶ֣לֶךְ לְעֹולָֽם׃

Jehovah sat as King at the Flood. Yea, Jehovah sits as King forever.

11 יְֽהוָ֗ה עֹ֖ז לְעַמֹּ֣ו יִתֵּ֑ן יְהוָ֓ה ׀ יְבָרֵ֖ךְ אֶת־עַמֹּ֣ו בַשָּׁלֹֽום׃

Jehovah will give strength to his people. Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
