תְהִלִּים 126

1 שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲלֹ֥ות בְּשׁ֣וּב יְ֭הוָה אֶת־שִׁיבַ֣ת צִיֹּ֑ון הָ֝יִ֗ינוּ כְּחֹלְמִֽים׃

A song of degrees, or Psalme of David. When ye Lord brought againe the captiuitie of Zion, we were like them that dreame.

2 אָ֤ז יִמָּלֵ֪א שְׂחֹ֡וק פִּינוּ֮ וּלְשֹׁונֵ֪נוּ רִ֫נָּ֥ה אָ֭ז יֹאמְר֣וּ בַגֹּויִ֑ם הִגְדִּ֥יל יְ֝הוָ֗ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ות עִם־אֵֽלֶּה׃

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with ioye: then sayd they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

3 הִגְדִּ֣יל יְ֭הוָה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ות עִמָּ֗נוּ הָיִ֥ינוּ שְׂמֵחִֽים׃

The Lord hath done great things for vs, whereof we reioyce.

4 שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אֶת־שְׁבוּתֵנוּ (שְׁבִיתֵ֑נוּ) כַּאֲפִיקִ֥ים בַּנֶּֽגֶב׃

O Lord, bring againe our captiuitie, as the riuers in the South.

5 הַזֹּרְעִ֥ים בְּדִמְעָ֗ה בְּרִנָּ֥ה יִקְצֹֽרוּ׃

They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy.

6 הָ֘לֹ֤וךְ יֵלֵ֨ךְ ׀ וּבָכֹה֮ נֹשֵׂ֪א מֶֽשֶׁךְ־הַ֫זָּ֥רַע בֹּֽא־יָבֹ֥וא בְרִנָּ֑ה נֹ֝שֵׂ֗א אֲלֻמֹּתָֽיו׃

They went weeping and caried precious seede: but they shall returne with ioye and bring their sheaues.
