תְהִלִּים 118
| הֹוד֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה כִּי־טֹ֑וב כִּ֖י לְעֹולָ֣ם חַסְדֹּֽו׃ | 1 |
Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
| יֹֽאמַר־נָ֥א יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֖י לְעֹולָ֣ם חַסְדֹּֽו׃ | 2 |
Let it say please Israel that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
| יֹֽאמְרוּ־נָ֥א בֵֽית־אַהֲרֹ֑ן כִּ֖י לְעֹולָ֣ם חַסְדֹּֽו׃ | 3 |
Let them say please [the] house of Aaron that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
| יֹֽאמְרוּ־נָ֭א יִרְאֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י לְעֹולָ֣ם חַסְדֹּֽו׃ | 4 |
Let them say please [those] fearing Yahweh that [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
| מִֽן־הַ֭מֵּצַ֥ר קָרָ֣אתִי יָּ֑הּ עָנָ֖נִי בַמֶּרְחָ֣ב יָֽהּ׃ | 5 |
From the distress I called out to Yahweh he answered me in roomy place Yahweh.
| יְהוָ֣ה לִ֭י לֹ֣א אִירָ֑א מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה לִ֣י אָדָֽם׃ | 6 |
Yahweh [is] for me not I will be afraid what? will he do to me anyone.
| יְהוָ֣ה לִ֭י בְּעֹזְרָ֑י וַ֝אֲנִ֗י אֶרְאֶ֥ה בְשֹׂנְאָֽי׃ | 7 |
Yahweh [is] for me helper my and I I will look on [those who] hate me.
| טֹ֗וב לַחֲסֹ֥ות בַּיהוָ֑ה מִ֝בְּטֹ֗חַ בָּאָדָֽם׃ | 8 |
[is] good To take refuge in Yahweh more than to trust in humankind.
| טֹ֗וב לַחֲסֹ֥ות בַּיהוָ֑ה מִ֝בְּטֹ֗חַ בִּנְדִיבִֽים׃ | 9 |
[is] good To take refuge in Yahweh more than to trust in noble [people].
| כָּל־גֹּויִ֥ם סְבָב֑וּנִי בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲמִילַֽם׃ | 10 |
All nations they surrounded me in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
| סַבּ֥וּנִי גַם־סְבָב֑וּנִי בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲמִילַֽם׃ | 11 |
They surrounded me also they surrounded me in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
| סַבּ֤וּנִי כִדְבֹורִ֗ים דֹּ֭עֲכוּ כְּאֵ֣שׁ קֹוצִ֑ים בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲמִילַֽם׃ | 12 |
They surrounded me like bees they were extinguished like a fire of thorns in [the] name of Yahweh for I fended off them.
| דַּחֹ֣ה דְחִיתַ֣נִי לִנְפֹּ֑ל וַ֖יהוָ֣ה עֲזָרָֽנִי׃ | 13 |
Certainly you pushed me to fall and Yahweh he helped me.
| עָזִּ֣י וְזִמְרָ֣ת יָ֑הּ וַֽיְהִי־לִ֝֗י לִֽישׁוּעָֽה׃ | 14 |
[is] might My and strength Yahweh and he has become of me salvation.
| קֹ֤ול ׀ רִנָּ֬ה וִֽישׁוּעָ֗ה בְּאָהֳלֵ֥י צַדִּיקִ֑ים יְמִ֥ין יְ֝הוָה עֹ֣שָׂה חָֽיִל׃ | 15 |
[the] sound of - A shout of joy and salvation [is] in [the] tents of righteous [people] [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] doing strength.
| יְמִ֣ין יְ֭הוָה רֹומֵמָ֑ה יְמִ֥ין יְ֝הוָה עֹ֣שָׂה חָֽיִל׃ | 16 |
[the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] exalting [the] right [hand] of Yahweh [is] doing strength.
| לֹֽא אָמ֥וּת כִּי־אֶֽחְיֶ֑ה וַ֝אֲסַפֵּ֗ר מַֽעֲשֵׂ֥י יָֽהּ׃ | 17 |
Not I will die for I will live and I may recount [the] deeds of Yahweh.
| יַסֹּ֣ר יִסְּרַ֣נִּי יָּ֑הּ וְ֝לַמָּ֗וֶת לֹ֣א נְתָנָֽנִי׃ | 18 |
Certainly he has disciplined me Yahweh and to death not he has given me.
| פִּתְחוּ־לִ֥י שַׁעֲרֵי־צֶ֑דֶק אָֽבֹא־בָ֝ם אֹודֶ֥ה יָֽהּ׃ | 19 |
Open to me [the] gates of righteousness I will go in them I will give thanks to Yahweh.
| זֶֽה־הַשַּׁ֥עַר לַיהוָ֑ה צַ֝דִּיקִ֗ים יָבֹ֥אוּ בֹֽו׃ | 20 |
This the gate [belongs] to Yahweh righteous [people] they will go in it.
| אֹ֭ודְךָ כִּ֣י עֲנִיתָ֑נִי וַתְּהִי־לִ֝֗י לִֽישׁוּעָֽה׃ | 21 |
I will give thanks to you for you answered me and you have become of me salvation.
| אֶ֭בֶן מָאֲס֣וּ הַבֹּונִ֑ים הָ֝יְתָ֗ה לְרֹ֣אשׁ פִּנָּֽה׃ | 22 |
A stone [which] they rejected the builders it has become [the] head of [the] corner.
| מֵאֵ֣ת יְ֭הוָה הָ֣יְתָה זֹּ֑את הִ֖יא נִפְלָ֣את בְּעֵינֵֽינוּ׃ | 23 |
From with Yahweh it has come this it it is wonderful in view our.
| זֶה־הַ֭יֹּום עָשָׂ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה נָגִ֖ילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָ֣ה בֹֽו׃ | 24 |
This the day he has made Yahweh let us be glad and let us rejoice in it.
| אָנָּ֣א יְ֭הוָה הֹושִׁ֘יעָ֥ה נָּ֑א אָֽנָּ֥א יְ֝הוָ֗ה הַצְלִ֘יחָ֥ה נָּֽא׃ | 25 |
We beg you O Yahweh save! please we beg you O Yahweh grant success! please.
| בָּר֣וּךְ הַ֭בָּא בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה בֵּ֝רַֽכְנוּכֶ֗ם מִבֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃ | 26 |
[be] blessed The [one who] comes in [the] name of Yahweh we bless you from [the] house of Yahweh.
| אֵ֤ל ׀ יְהוָה֮ וַיָּ֪אֶר לָ֥נוּ אִסְרוּ־חַ֥ג בַּעֲבֹתִ֑ים עַד־קַ֝רְנֹ֗ות הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ | 27 |
[is] God - Yahweh and he has given light to us bind a festival sacrifice with ropes to [the] horns of the altar.
| אֵלִ֣י אַתָּ֣ה וְאֹודֶ֑ךָּ אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י אֲרֹומְמֶֽךָּ׃ | 28 |
[are] God My you and I will give thanks to you O God my I will exalt you.
| הֹוד֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה כִּי־טֹ֑וב כִּ֖י לְעֹולָ֣ם חַסְדֹּֽו׃ | 29 |
Give thanks to Yahweh for [he is] good for [is] for ever covenant loyalty his.
