תְהִלִּים 114

1 בְּצֵ֣את יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם בֵּ֥ית יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב מֵעַ֥ם לֹעֵֽז׃

In the going out of Israel from Egypt, The house of Jacob from a strange people,

2 הָיְתָ֣ה יְהוּדָ֣ה לְקָדְשֹׁ֑ו יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל מַמְשְׁלֹותָֽיו׃

Judah became His sanctuary, Israel his dominion.

3 הַיָּ֣ם רָ֭אָה וַיָּנֹ֑ס הַ֝יַּרְדֵּ֗ן יִסֹּ֥ב לְאָחֹֽור׃

The sea has seen, and flees, The Jordan turns backward.

4 הֶֽ֭הָרִים רָקְד֣וּ כְאֵילִ֑ים גְּ֝בָעֹ֗ות כִּבְנֵי־צֹֽאן׃

The mountains have skipped as rams, Heights as sons of a flock.

5 מַה־לְּךָ֣ הַ֭יָּם כִּ֣י תָנ֑וּס הַ֝יַּרְדֵּ֗ן תִּסֹּ֥ב לְאָחֹֽור׃

What is [ailing] you, O sea, that you flee? O Jordan, you turn back!

6 הֶֽ֭הָרִים תִּרְקְד֣וּ כְאֵילִ֑ים גְּ֝בָעֹ֗ות כִּבְנֵי־צֹֽאן׃

O mountains, you skip as rams! O heights, as sons of a flock!

7 מִלִּפְנֵ֣י אָ֭דֹון ח֣וּלִי אָ֑רֶץ מִ֝לִּפְנֵ֗י אֱלֹ֣והַּ יַעֲקֹֽב׃

From before the Lord be afraid, O earth, From before the God of Jacob,

8 הַהֹפְכִ֣י הַצּ֣וּר אֲגַם־מָ֑יִם חַ֝לָּמִ֗ישׁ לְמַעְיְנֹו־מָֽיִם׃

He is turning the rock to a pool of waters, The flint to a fountain of waters!
