תְהִלִּים 103

1 לְדָוִ֙ד ׀ בָּרֲכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁי אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וְכָל־קְ֝רָבַ֗י אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשֹֽׁו׃

BY DAVID. Bless, O my soul, YHWH, And all my inward parts—His Holy Name.

2 בָּרֲכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁי אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וְאַל־תִּ֝שְׁכְּחִ֗י כָּל־גְּמוּלָֽיו׃

Bless, O my soul, YHWH, And do not forget all His benefits,

3 הַסֹּלֵ֥חַ לְכָל־עֲוֹנֵ֑כִי הָ֝רֹפֵ֗א לְכָל־תַּחֲלֻאָֽיְכִי׃

Who is forgiving all your iniquities, Who is healing all your diseases,

4 הַגֹּואֵ֣ל מִשַּׁ֣חַת חַיָּ֑יְכִי הַֽ֝מְעַטְּרֵ֗כִי חֶ֣סֶד וְרַחֲמִֽים׃

Who is redeeming your life from destruction, Who is crowning you [with] kindness and mercies,

5 הַמַּשְׂבִּ֣יַע בַּטֹּ֣וב עֶדְיֵ֑ךְ תִּתְחַדֵּ֖שׁ כַּנֶּ֣שֶׁר נְעוּרָֽיְכִי׃

Who is satisfying your desire with good, Your youth renews itself as an eagle.

6 עֹשֵׂ֣ה צְדָקֹ֣ות יְהוָ֑ה וּ֝מִשְׁפָּטִ֗ים לְכָל־עֲשׁוּקִֽים׃

YHWH is doing righteousness and judgments For all the oppressed.

7 יֹודִ֣יעַ דְּרָכָ֣יו לְמֹשֶׁ֑ה לִבְנֵ֥י יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל עֲלִילֹֽותָיו׃

He makes His ways known to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel.

8 רַח֣וּם וְחַנּ֣וּן יְהוָ֑ה אֶ֖רֶךְ אַפַּ֣יִם וְרַב־חָֽסֶד׃

YHWH [is] merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.

9 לֹֽא־לָנֶ֥צַח יָרִ֑יב וְלֹ֖א לְעֹולָ֣ם יִטֹּֽור׃

He does not strive forever, Nor does He watch for all time.

10 לֹ֣א כַ֭חֲטָאֵינוּ עָ֣שָׂה לָ֑נוּ וְלֹ֥א כַ֝עֲוֹנֹתֵ֗ינוּ גָּמַ֥ל עָלֵֽינוּ׃

He has not done to us according to our sins, Nor according to our iniquities Has He conferred benefits on us.

11 כִּ֤י כִגְבֹ֣הַּ שָׁ֭מַיִם עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ גָּבַ֥ר חַ֝סְדֹּ֗ו עַל־יְרֵאָֽיו׃

For as the height of the heavens [is] above the earth, His kindness has been mighty over those fearing Him.

12 כִּרְחֹ֣ק מִ֭זְרָח מִֽמַּֽעֲרָ֑ב הִֽרְחִ֥יק מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ אֶת־פְּשָׁעֵֽינוּ׃

He has put our transgressions far from us—as the distance of east from west.

13 כְּרַחֵ֣ם אָ֭ב עַל־בָּנִ֑ים רִחַ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַל־יְרֵאָֽיו׃

As a father has mercy on sons, YHWH has mercy on those fearing Him.

14 כִּי־ה֖וּא יָדַ֣ע יִצְרֵ֑נוּ זָ֝כ֗וּר כִּי־עָפָ֥ר אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃

For He has known our frame, Remembering that we [are] dust.

15 אֱ֭נֹושׁ כֶּחָצִ֣יר יָמָ֑יו כְּצִ֥יץ הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה כֵּ֣ן יָצִֽיץ׃

Mortal man! His days [are] as grass, He flourishes as a flower of the field;

16 כִּ֤י ר֣וּחַ עָֽבְרָה־בֹּ֣ו וְאֵינֶ֑נּוּ וְלֹא־יַכִּירֶ֖נּוּ עֹ֣וד מְקֹומֹֽו׃

For a wind has passed over it, and it is not, And its place does not discern it anymore.

17 וְחֶ֤סֶד יְהוָ֙ה ׀ מֵעֹולָ֣ם וְעַד־עֹ֭ולָם עַל־יְרֵאָ֑יו וְ֝צִדְקָתֹ֗ו לִבְנֵ֥י בָנִֽים׃

And the kindness of YHWH [Is] from age even to age on those fearing Him, And His righteousness to sons’ sons,

18 לְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י בְרִיתֹ֑ו וּלְזֹכְרֵ֥י פִ֝קֻּדָ֗יו לַעֲשֹׂותָֽם׃

To those keeping His covenant, And to those remembering His precepts to do them.

19 יְֽהוָ֗ה בַּ֭שָּׁמַיִם הֵכִ֣ין כִּסְאֹ֑ו וּ֝מַלְכוּתֹ֗ו בַּכֹּ֥ל מָשָֽׁלָה׃

YHWH has established His throne in the heavens, And His kingdom has ruled over all.

20 בָּרֲכ֥וּ יְהוָ֗ה מַלְאָ֫כָ֥יו גִּבֹּ֣רֵי כֹ֭חַ עֹשֵׂ֣י דְבָרֹ֑ו לִ֝שְׁמֹ֗עַ בְּקֹ֣ול דְּבָרֹֽו׃

Bless YHWH, you His messengers, Mighty in power—doing His word, To listen to the voice of His word.

21 בָּרֲכ֣וּ יְ֭הוָה כָּל־צְבָאָ֑יו מְ֝שָׁרְתָ֗יו עֹשֵׂ֥י רְצֹונֹֽו׃

Bless YHWH, all you His hosts, His ministers—doing His pleasure.

22 בָּרֲכ֤וּ יְהוָ֙ה ׀ כָּֽל־מַעֲשָׂ֗יו בְּכָל־מְקֹמֹ֥ות מֶמְשַׁלְתֹּ֑ו בָּרֲכִ֥י נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃

Bless YHWH, all you His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless, O my soul, YHWH!
