וַיִּקְרָא 11

1 וַיְדַבֵּ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹ֥ר אֲלֵהֶֽם׃

and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses and to(wards) Aaron to/for to say to(wards) them

2 דַּבְּר֛וּ אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר זֹ֤את הַֽחַיָּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֹּאכְל֔וּ מִכָּל־הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

to speak: speak to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel to/for to say this [the] living thing which to eat from all [the] animal which upon [the] land: country/planet

3 כֹּ֣ל ׀ מַפְרֶ֣סֶת פַּרְסָ֗ה וְשֹׁסַ֤עַת שֶׁ֙סַע֙ פְּרָסֹ֔ת מַעֲלַ֥ת גֵּרָ֖ה בַּבְּהֵמָ֑ה אֹתָ֖הּ תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃

all to divide hoof and to cleave cleft hoof to ascend: regurgitate cud in/on/with animal [obj] her to eat

4 אַ֤ךְ אֶת־זֶה֙ לֹ֣א תֹֽאכְל֔וּ מִֽמַּעֲלֵי֙ הַגֵּרָ֔ה וּמִמַּפְרִיסֵ֖י הַפַּרְסָ֑ה אֶֽת־הַ֠גָּמָל כִּֽי־מַעֲלֵ֨ה גֵרָ֜ה ה֗וּא וּפַרְסָה֙ אֵינֶ֣נּוּ מַפְרִ֔יס טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃

surely [obj] this not to eat from to ascend: regurgitate [the] cud and from to divide [the] hoof [obj] [the] camel for to ascend: regurgitate cud he/she/it and hoof nothing he to divide unclean he/she/it to/for you

5 וְאֶת־הַשָּׁפָ֗ן כִּֽי־מַעֲלֵ֤ה גֵרָה֙ ה֔וּא וּפַרְסָ֖ה לֹ֣א יַפְרִ֑יס טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃

and [obj] [the] rock badger for to ascend: regurgitate cud he/she/it and hoof not to divide unclean he/she/it to/for you

6 וְאֶת־הָאַרְנֶ֗בֶת כִּֽי־מַעֲלַ֤ת גֵּרָה֙ הִ֔וא וּפַרְסָ֖ה לֹ֣א הִפְרִ֑יסָה טְמֵאָ֥ה הִ֖וא לָכֶֽם׃

and [obj] [the] hare for to ascend: regurgitate cud he/she/it and hoof not to divide unclean he/she/it to/for you

7 וְאֶת־הַ֠חֲזִיר כִּֽי־מַפְרִ֨יס פַּרְסָ֜ה ה֗וּא וְשֹׁסַ֥ע שֶׁ֙סַע֙ פַּרְסָ֔ה וְה֖וּא גֵּרָ֣ה לֹֽא־יִגָּ֑ר טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃

and [obj] [the] swine for to divide hoof he/she/it and to cleave cleft hoof and he/she/it cud not to drag/chew/saw unclean he/she/it to/for you

8 מִבְּשָׂרָם֙ לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֔לוּ וּבְנִבְלָתָ֖ם לֹ֣א תִגָּ֑עוּ טְמֵאִ֥ים הֵ֖ם לָכֶֽם׃

from flesh their not to eat and in/on/with carcass their not to touch unclean they(masc.) to/for you

9 אֶת־זֶה֙ תֹּֽאכְל֔וּ מִכֹּ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּמָּ֑יִם כֹּ֣ל אֲשֶׁר־לֹו֩ סְנַפִּ֨יר וְקַשְׂקֶ֜שֶׂת בַּמַּ֗יִם בַּיַּמִּ֛ים וּבַנְּחָלִ֖ים אֹתָ֥ם תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃

[obj] this to eat from all which in/on/with water all which to/for him fin and scale in/on/with water in/on/with sea and in/on/with torrent: river [obj] them to eat

10 וְכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֵֽין־לֹ֜ו סְנַפִּ֣יר וְקַשְׂקֶ֗שֶׂת בַּיַּמִּים֙ וּבַנְּחָלִ֔ים מִכֹּל֙ שֶׁ֣רֶץ הַמַּ֔יִם וּמִכֹּ֛ל נֶ֥פֶשׁ הַחַיָּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּמָּ֑יִם שֶׁ֥קֶץ הֵ֖ם לָכֶֽם׃

and all which nothing to/for him fin and scale in/on/with sea and in/on/with torrent: river from all swarm [the] water and from all soul: animal [the] alive which in/on/with water detestation they(masc.) to/for you

11 וְשֶׁ֖קֶץ יִהְי֣וּ לָכֶ֑ם מִבְּשָׂרָם֙ לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֔לוּ וְאֶת־נִבְלָתָ֖ם תְּשַׁקֵּֽצוּ׃

and detestation to be to/for you from flesh their not to eat and [obj] carcass their to detest

12 כֹּ֣ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵֽין־לֹ֛ו סְנַפִּ֥יר וְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂת בַּמָּ֑יִם שֶׁ֥קֶץ ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃

all which nothing to/for him fin and scale in/on/with water detestation he/she/it to/for you

13 וְאֶת־אֵ֙לֶּה֙ תְּשַׁקְּצ֣וּ מִן־הָעֹ֔וף לֹ֥א יֵאָכְל֖וּ שֶׁ֣קֶץ הֵ֑ם אֶת־הַנֶּ֙שֶׁר֙ וְאֶת־הַפֶּ֔רֶס וְאֵ֖ת הָעָזְנִיָּֽה׃

and [obj] these to detest from [the] bird not to eat detestation they(masc.) [obj] [the] eagle and [obj] [the] vulture and [obj] [the] vulture

14 וְאֶת־הַ֨דָּאָ֔ה וְאֶת־הָאַיָּ֖ה לְמִינָֽהּ׃

and [obj] [the] kite and [obj] [the] falcon to/for kind her

15 אֵ֥ת כָּל־עֹרֵ֖ב לְמִינֹֽו׃

[obj] all raven to/for kind his

16 וְאֵת֙ בַּ֣ת הַֽיַּעֲנָ֔ה וְאֶת־הַתַּחְמָ֖ס וְאֶת־הַשָּׁ֑חַף וְאֶת־הַנֵּ֖ץ לְמִינֵֽהוּ׃

and [obj] daughter [the] ostrich and [obj] [the] ostrich and [obj] [the] gull and [obj] [the] hawk to/for kind his

17 וְאֶת־הַכֹּ֥וס וְאֶת־הַשָּׁלָ֖ךְ וְאֶת־הַיַּנְשֽׁוּף׃

and [obj] [the] owl and [obj] [the] cormorant and [obj] [the] owl

18 וְאֶת־הַתִּנְשֶׁ֥מֶת וְאֶת־הַקָּאָ֖ת וְאֶת־הָרָחָֽם׃

and [obj] [the] chameleon and [obj] [the] pelican and [obj] [the] carrion

19 וְאֵת֙ הַחֲסִידָ֔ה הָאֲנָפָ֖ה לְמִינָ֑הּ וְאֶת־הַדּוּכִיפַ֖ת וְאֶת־הָעֲטַלֵּֽף׃

and [obj] [the] stork [the] heron to/for kind her and [obj] [the] hoopoe and [obj] [the] bat

20 כֹּ֚ל שֶׁ֣רֶץ הָעֹ֔וף הַהֹלֵ֖ךְ עַל־אַרְבַּ֑ע שֶׁ֥קֶץ ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃ ס

all swarm [the] bird [the] to go: went upon four detestation he/she/it to/for you

21 אַ֤ךְ אֶת־זֶה֙ תֹּֽאכְל֔וּ מִכֹּל֙ שֶׁ֣רֶץ הָעֹ֔וף הַהֹלֵ֖ךְ עַל־אַרְבַּ֑ע אֲשֶׁר־לֹא (לֹ֤ו) כְרָעַ֙יִם֙ מִמַּ֣עַל לְרַגְלָ֔יו לְנַתֵּ֥ר בָּהֵ֖ן עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

surely [obj] this to eat from all swarm [the] bird [the] to go: went upon four which (to/for him *Q(K)*) leg from above to/for foot his to/for to start in/on/with them upon [the] land: soil

22 אֶת־אֵ֤לֶּה מֵהֶם֙ תֹּאכֵ֔לוּ אֶת־הָֽאַרְבֶּ֣ה לְמִינֹ֔ו וְאֶת־הַסָּלְעָ֖ם לְמִינֵ֑הוּ וְאֶת־הַחַרְגֹּ֣ל לְמִינֵ֔הוּ וְאֶת־הֶחָגָ֖ב לְמִינֵֽהוּ׃

[obj] these from them to eat [obj] [the] locust to/for kind his and [obj] [the] locust to/for kind his and [obj] [the] locust to/for kind his and [obj] [the] locust to/for kind his

23 וְכֹל֙ שֶׁ֣רֶץ הָעֹ֔וף אֲשֶׁר־לֹ֖ו אַרְבַּ֣ע רַגְלָ֑יִם שֶׁ֥קֶץ ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃

and all swarm [the] bird which to/for him four foot detestation he/she/it to/for you

24 וּלְאֵ֖לֶּה תִּטַּמָּ֑אוּ כָּל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בְּנִבְלָתָ֖ם יִטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

and to/for these to defile all [the] to touch in/on/with carcass their to defile till [the] evening

25 וְכָל־הַנֹּשֵׂ֖א מִנִּבְלָתָ֑ם יְכַבֵּ֥ס בְּגָדָ֖יו וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

and all [the] to lift: bear from carcass their to wash garment his and to defile till [the] evening

26 לְֽכָל־הַבְּהֵמָ֡ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִוא֩ מַפְרֶ֨סֶת פַּרְסָ֜ה וְשֶׁ֣סַע ׀ אֵינֶ֣נָּה שֹׁסַ֗עַת וְגֵרָה֙ אֵינֶ֣נָּה מַעֲלָ֔ה טְמֵאִ֥ים הֵ֖ם לָכֶ֑ם כָּל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בָּהֶ֖ם יִטְמָֽא׃

to/for all [the] animal which he/she/it to divide hoof and cleft nothing she to cleave and cud nothing she to ascend: regurgitate unclean they(masc.) to/for you all [the] to touch in/on/with them to defile

27 וְכֹ֣ל ׀ הֹולֵ֣ךְ עַל־כַּפָּ֗יו בְּכָל־הַֽחַיָּה֙ הַהֹלֶ֣כֶת עַל־אַרְבַּ֔ע טְמֵאִ֥ים הֵ֖ם לָכֶ֑ם כָּל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בְּנִבְלָתָ֖ם יִטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

and all to go: walk upon palm: sole his in/on/with all [the] living thing [the] to go: went upon four unclean they(masc.) to/for you all [the] to touch in/on/with carcass their to defile till [the] evening

28 וְהַנֹּשֵׂא֙ אֶת־נִבְלָתָ֔ם יְכַבֵּ֥ס בְּגָדָ֖יו וְטָמֵ֣א עַד־הָעָ֑רֶב טְמֵאִ֥ים הֵ֖מָּה לָכֶֽם׃ ס

and [the] to lift: bear [obj] carcass their to wash garment his and to defile till [the] evening unclean they(masc.) to/for you

29 וְזֶ֤ה לָכֶם֙ הַטָּמֵ֔א בַּשֶּׁ֖רֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ הַחֹ֥לֶד וְהָעַכְבָּ֖ר וְהַצָּ֥ב לְמִינֵֽהוּ׃

and this to/for you [the] unclean in/on/with swarm [the] to swarm upon [the] land: soil [the] weasel and [the] mouse and [the] lizard to/for kind his

30 וְהָאֲנָקָ֥ה וְהַכֹּ֖חַ וְהַלְּטָאָ֑ה וְהַחֹ֖מֶט וְהַתִּנְשָֽׁמֶת׃

and [the] gecko and [the] reptile and [the] lizard and [the] lizard and [the] chameleon

31 אֵ֛לֶּה הַטְּמֵאִ֥ים לָכֶ֖ם בְּכָל־הַשָּׁ֑רֶץ כָּל־הַנֹּגֵ֧עַ בָּהֶ֛ם בְּמֹתָ֖ם יִטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

these [the] unclean to/for you in/on/with all [the] swarm all [the] to touch in/on/with them in/on/with death their to defile till [the] evening

32 וְכֹ֣ל אֲשֶׁר־יִפֹּל־עָלָיו֩ מֵהֶ֨ם ׀ בְּמֹתָ֜ם יִטְמָ֗א מִכָּל־כְּלִי־עֵץ֙ אֹ֣ו בֶ֤גֶד אֹו־עֹור֙ אֹ֣ו שָׂ֔ק כָּל־כְּלִ֕י אֲשֶׁר־יֵעָשֶׂ֥ה מְלָאכָ֖ה בָּהֶ֑ם בַּמַּ֧יִם יוּבָ֛א וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעֶ֖רֶב וְטָהֵֽר׃

and all which to fall: fall upon him from them in/on/with death their to defile from all article/utensil tree: wood or garment or skin or sackcloth all article/utensil which to make: do work in/on/with them in/on/with water to come (in): bring and to defile till [the] evening and be pure

33 וְכָל־כְּלִי־חֶ֔רֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר־יִפֹּ֥ל מֵהֶ֖ם אֶל־תֹּוכֹ֑ו כֹּ֣ל אֲשֶׁ֧ר בְּתֹוכֹ֛ו יִטְמָ֖א וְאֹתֹ֥ו תִשְׁבֹּֽרוּ׃

and all article/utensil earthenware which to fall: fall from them to(wards) midst his all which in/on/with midst his to defile and [obj] him to break

34 מִכָּל־הָאֹ֜כֶל אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵאָכֵ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָבֹ֥וא עָלָ֛יו מַ֖יִם יִטְמָ֑א וְכָל־מַשְׁקֶה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִשָּׁתֶ֔ה בְּכָל־כְּלִ֖י יִטְמָֽא׃

from all [the] food which to eat which to come (in): come upon him water to defile and all irrigation which to drink in/on/with all article/utensil to defile

35 וְ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁר־יִפֹּ֨ל מִנִּבְלָתָ֥ם ׀ עָלָיו֮ יִטְמָא֒ תַּנּ֧וּר וְכִירַ֛יִם יֻתָּ֖ץ טְמֵאִ֣ים הֵ֑ם וּטְמֵאִ֖ים יִהְי֥וּ לָכֶֽם׃

and all which to fall: fall from carcass their upon him to defile oven and stove to tear unclean they(masc.) and unclean to be to/for you

36 אַ֣ךְ מַעְיָ֥ן וּבֹ֛ור מִקְוֵה־מַ֖יִם יִהְיֶ֣ה טָהֹ֑ור וְנֹגֵ֥עַ בְּנִבְלָתָ֖ם יִטְמָֽא׃

surely spring and pit collection water to be pure and to touch in/on/with carcass their to defile

37 וְכִ֤י יִפֹּל֙ מִנִּבְלָתָ֔ם עַל־כָּל־זֶ֥רַע זֵר֖וּעַ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִזָּרֵ֑עַ טָהֹ֖ור הֽוּא׃

and for to fall: fall from carcass their upon all seed sowing which to sow pure he/she/it

38 וְכִ֤י יֻתַּן־מַ֙יִם֙ עַל־זֶ֔רַע וְנָפַ֥ל מִנִּבְלָתָ֖ם עָלָ֑יו טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃ ס

and for to give: put water upon seed and to fall: fall from carcass their upon him unclean he/she/it to/for you

39 וְכִ֤י יָמוּת֙ מִן־הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־הִ֥יא לָכֶ֖ם לְאָכְלָ֑ה הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בְּנִבְלָתָ֖הּ יִטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

and for to die from [the] animal which he/she/it to/for you to/for food [the] to touch in/on/with carcass her to defile till [the] evening

40 וְהָֽאֹכֵל֙ מִנִּבְלָתָ֔הּ יְכַבֵּ֥ס בְּגָדָ֖יו וְטָמֵ֣א עַד־הָעָ֑רֶב וְהַנֹּשֵׂא֙ אֶת־נִבְלָתָ֔הּ יְכַבֵּ֥ס בְּגָדָ֖יו וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

and [the] to eat from carcass her to wash garment his and to defile till [the] evening and [the] to lift: bear [obj] carcass her to wash garment his and to defile till [the] evening

41 וְכָל־הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ שֶׁ֥קֶץ ה֖וּא לֹ֥א יֵאָכֵֽל׃

and all [the] swarm [the] to swarm upon [the] land: soil detestation he/she/it not to eat

42 כֹּל֩ הֹולֵ֨ךְ עַל־גָּחֹ֜ון וְכֹ֣ל ׀ הֹולֵ֣ךְ עַל־אַרְבַּ֗ע עַ֚ד כָּל־מַרְבֵּ֣ה רַגְלַ֔יִם לְכָל־הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ לֹ֥א תֹאכְל֖וּם כִּי־שֶׁ֥קֶץ הֵֽם׃

all to go: walk upon belly and all to go: walk upon four till all to multiply foot to/for all [the] swarm [the] to swarm upon [the] land: soil not to eat them for detestation they(masc.)

43 אַל־תְּשַׁקְּצוּ֙ אֶת־נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם בְּכָל־הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵ֑ץ וְלֹ֤א תִֽטַּמְּאוּ֙ בָּהֶ֔ם וְנִטְמֵתֶ֖ם בָּֽם׃

not to detest [obj] soul: myself your in/on/with all [the] swarm [the] to swarm and not to defile in/on/with them and to defile in/on/with them

44 כִּ֣י אֲנִ֣י יְהוָה֮ אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֒ וְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתֶּם֙ וִהְיִיתֶ֣ם קְדֹשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י קָדֹ֖ושׁ אָ֑נִי וְלֹ֤א תְטַמְּאוּ֙ אֶת־נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם בְּכָל־הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ הָרֹמֵ֥שׂ עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

for I LORD God your and to consecrate: consecate and to be holy for holy I and not to defile [obj] soul: myself your in/on/with all [the] swarm [the] to creep upon [the] land: soil

45 כִּ֣י ׀ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה הַֽמַּעֲלֶ֤ה אֶתְכֶם֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם לִהְיֹ֥ת לָכֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִ֑ים וִהְיִיתֶ֣ם קְדֹשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י קָדֹ֖ושׁ אָֽנִי׃

for I LORD [the] to ascend: establish [obj] you from land: country/planet Egypt to/for to be to/for you to/for God and to be holy for holy I

46 זֹ֣את תֹּורַ֤ת הַבְּהֵמָה֙ וְהָעֹ֔וף וְכֹל֙ נֶ֣פֶשׁ הַֽחַיָּ֔ה הָרֹמֶ֖שֶׂת בַּמָּ֑יִם וּלְכָל־נֶ֖פֶשׁ הַשֹּׁרֶ֥צֶת עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

this instruction [the] animal and [the] bird and all soul: animal [the] alive [the] to creep in/on/with water and to/for all soul: animal [the] to swarm upon [the] land: soil

47 לְהַבְדִּ֕יל בֵּ֥ין הַטָּמֵ֖א וּבֵ֣ין הַטָּהֹ֑ר וּבֵ֤ין הַֽחַיָּה֙ הַֽנֶּאֱכֶ֔לֶת וּבֵין֙ הַֽחַיָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֥א תֵאָכֵֽל׃ פ

to/for to separate between [the] unclean and between [the] pure and between [the] living thing [the] to eat and between [the] living thing which not to eat
