יְהוֹשֻעַ 18

1 וַיִּקָּ֨הֲל֜וּ כָּל־עֲדַ֤ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ שִׁלֹ֔ה וַיַּשְׁכִּ֥ינוּ שָׁ֖ם אֶת־אֹ֣הֶל מֹועֵ֑ד וְהָאָ֥רֶץ נִכְבְּשָׁ֖ה לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃

and to gather all congregation son: descendant/people Israel Shiloh and to dwell there [obj] tent meeting and [the] land: country/planet to subdue to/for face: before their

2 וַיִּוָּֽתְרוּ֙ בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־חָלְק֖וּ אֶת־נֽ͏ַחֲלָתָ֑ם שִׁבְעָ֖ה שְׁבָטִֽים׃

and to remain in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel which not to divide [obj] inheritance their seven tribe

3 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְהֹושֻׁ֖עַ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל עַד־אָ֙נָה֙ אַתֶּ֣ם מִתְרַפִּ֔ים לָבֹוא֙ לָרֶ֣שֶׁת אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֙ נָתַ֣ן לָכֶ֔ם יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י אֲבֹֽותֵיכֶֽם׃

and to say Joshua to(wards) son: descendant/people Israel till where? you(m. p.) to slacken to/for to come (in): come to/for to possess: take [obj] [the] land: country/planet which to give: give to/for you LORD God father your

4 הָב֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה אֲנָשִׁ֖ים לַשָּׁ֑בֶט וְאֶשְׁלָחֵ֗ם וְיָקֻ֜מוּ וְיִֽתְהַלְּכ֥וּ בָאָ֛רֶץ וְיִכְתְּב֥וּ אֹותָ֛הּ לְפִ֥י נַֽחֲלָתָ֖ם וְיָבֹ֥אוּ אֵלָֽי׃

to give to/for you three human to/for tribe and to send: depart them and to arise: establish and to go: walk in/on/with land: country/planet and to write [obj] her to/for lip: according inheritance their and to come (in): come to(wards) me

5 וְהִֽתְחַלְּק֥וּ אֹתָ֖הּ לְשִׁבְעָ֣ה חֲלָקִ֑ים יְהוּדָ֞ה יַעֲמֹ֤ד עַל־גְּבוּלֹו֙ מִנֶּ֔גֶב וּבֵ֥ית יֹוסֵ֛ף יַעַמְד֥וּ עַל־גְּבוּלָ֖ם מִצָּפֹֽון׃

and to divide [obj] her to/for seven portion Judah to stand: stand upon border: area his from south and house: household Joseph to stand: stand upon border: area their from north

6 וְאַתֶּ֞ם תִּכְתְּב֤וּ אֶת־הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ שִׁבְעָ֣ה חֲלָקִ֔ים וֽ͏ַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם אֵלַ֖י הֵ֑נָּה וְיָרִ֨יתִי לָכֶ֤ם גֹּורָל֙ פֹּ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

and you(m. p.) to write [obj] [the] land: country/planet seven portion and to come (in): bring to(wards) me here/thus and to shoot to/for you allotted here to/for face: before LORD God our

7 כִּ֠י אֵֽין־חֵ֤לֶק לַלְוִיִּם֙ בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֔ם כִּֽי־כְהֻנַּ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה נַחֲלָתֹ֑ו וְגָ֡ד וּרְאוּבֵ֡ן וַחֲצִי֩ שֵׁ֨בֶט הַֽמְנַשֶּׁ֜ה לָקְח֣וּ נַחֲלָתָ֗ם מֵעֵ֤בֶר לַיַּרְדֵּן֙ מִזְרָ֔חָה אֲשֶׁר֙ נָתַ֣ן לָהֶ֔ם מֹשֶׁ֖ה עֶ֥בֶד יְהוָֽה׃

for nothing portion to/for Levi in/on/with entrails: among your for priesthood LORD inheritance his and Gad and Reuben and half tribe [the] Manasseh to take: recieve inheritance their from side: beyond to/for Jordan east [to] which to give: give to/for them Moses servant/slave LORD

8 וַיָּקֻ֥מוּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ וַיְצַ֣ו יְהֹושֻׁ֡עַ אֶת־הַהֹלְכִים֩ לִכְתֹּ֨ב אֶת־הָאָ֜רֶץ לֵאמֹ֗ר לְ֠כוּ וְהִתְהַלְּכ֨וּ בָאָ֜רֶץ וְכִתְב֤וּ אֹותָהּ֙ וְשׁ֣וּבוּ אֵלַ֔י וּ֠פֹה אַשְׁלִ֨יךְ לָכֶ֥ם גֹּורָ֛ל לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה בְּשִׁלֹֽה׃

and to arise: rise [the] human and to go: went and to command Joshua [obj] [the] to go: went to/for to write [obj] [the] land: country/planet to/for to say to go: went and to go: walk in/on/with land: country/planet and to write [obj] her and to return: return to(wards) me and here to throw to/for you allotted to/for face: before LORD in/on/with Shiloh

9 וַיֵּלְכ֤וּ הֽ͏ָאֲנָשִׁים֙ וַיַּעַבְר֣וּ בָאָ֔רֶץ וַיִּכְתְּב֧וּהָ לֶֽעָרִ֛ים לְשִׁבְעָ֥ה חֲלָקִ֖ים עַל־סֵ֑פֶר וַיָּבֹ֧אוּ אֶל־יְהֹושֻׁ֛עַ אֶל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה שִׁלֹֽה׃

and to go: went [the] human and to pass in/on/with land: country/planet and to write her to/for city to/for seven portion upon scroll: book and to come (in): come to(wards) Joshua to(wards) [the] camp Shiloh

10 וַיַּשְׁלֵךְ֩ לָהֶ֨ם יְהֹושֻׁ֧עַ גֹּורָ֛ל בְּשִׁלֹ֖ה לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיְחַלֶּק־שָׁ֨ם יְהֹושֻׁ֧עַ אֶת־הָאָ֛רֶץ לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כְּמַחְלְקֹתָֽם׃ פ

and to throw to/for them Joshua allotted in/on/with Shiloh to/for face: before LORD and to divide there Joshua [obj] [the] land: country/planet to/for son: descendant/people Israel like/as division their

11 וַיַּ֗עַל גֹּורַ֛ל מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־בִנְיָמִ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם וַיֵּצֵא֙ גְּב֣וּל גֹּֽורָלָ֔ם בֵּ֚ין בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וּבֵ֖ין בְּנֵ֥י יֹוסֵֽף׃

and to ascend: rise allotted tribe son: descendant/people Benjamin to/for family their and to come out: casting(lot) border: area allotted their between son: descendant/people Judah and between son: descendant/people Joseph

12 וַיְהִ֨י לָהֶ֧ם הַגְּב֛וּל לִפְאַ֥ת צָפֹ֖ונָה מִן־הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן וְעָלָ֣ה הַגְּבוּל֩ אֶל־כֶּ֨תֶף יְרִיחֹ֜ו מִצָּפֹ֗ון וְעָלָ֤ה בָהָר֙ יָ֔מָּה וְהָיָה (וְהָיוּ֙) תֹּֽצְאֹתָ֔יו מִדְבַּ֖רָה בֵּ֥ית אָֽוֶן׃

and to be to/for them [the] border: boundary to/for side north [to] from [the] Jordan and to ascend: rise [the] border: boundary to(wards) shoulder Jericho from north and to ascend: rise in/on/with mountain: hill country sea: west [to] (and to be *Q(K)*) outgoing his wilderness [to] Beth-aven Beth-aven

13 וְעָבַר֩ מִשָּׁ֨ם הַגְּב֜וּל ל֗וּזָה אֶל־כֶּ֤תֶף ל֙וּזָה֙ נֶ֔גְבָּה הִ֖יא בֵּֽית־אֵ֑ל וְיָרַ֤ד הַגְּבוּל֙ עַטְרֹ֣ות אַדָּ֔ר עַל־הָהָ֕ר אֲשֶׁ֛ר מִנֶּ֥גֶב לְבֵית־חֹרֹ֖ון תַּחְתֹּֽון׃

and to pass from there [the] border: boundary Luz [to] to(wards) shoulder Luz [to] south [to] he/she/it Bethel Bethel and to go down [the] border: boundary Ataroth-addar Ataroth-addar upon [the] mountain: mount which from south to/for (Lower) Beth-horon (Lower) Beth-horon Lower (Beth Horon)

14 וְתָאַ֣ר הַגְּבוּל֩ וְנָסַ֨ב לִפְאַת־יָ֜ם נֶ֗גְבָּה מִן־הָהָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י בֵית־חֹרֹון֮ נֶגְבָּה֒ וְהָיָה (וְהָי֣וּ) תֹֽצְאֹתָ֗יו אֶל־קִרְיַת־בַּ֙עַל֙ הִ֚יא קִרְיַ֣ת יְעָרִ֔ים עִ֖יר בְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה זֹ֖את פְּאַת־יָֽם׃

and to border [the] border: boundary and to turn: turn to/for side sea: west south [to] from [the] mountain: mount which upon face: surface Beth-horon Beth-horon south [to] (and to be *Q(K)*) outgoing his to(wards) Kiriath-baal Kiriath-baal he/she/it Kiriath-jearim Kiriath-jearim city son: descendant/people Judah this side sea: west

15 וּפְאַת־נֶ֕גְבָּה מִקְצֵ֖ה קִרְיַ֣ת יְעָרִ֑ים וְיָצָ֤א הַגְּבוּל֙ יָ֔מָּה וְיָצָ֕א אֶל־מַעְיַ֖ן מֵ֥י נֶפְתֹּֽוחַ׃

and side south [to] from end Kiriath-jearim Kiriath-jearim and to come out: extends [the] border: boundary sea: west [to] and to come out: extends to(wards) spring water Nephtoah

16 וְיָרַ֨ד הַגְּב֜וּל אֶל־קְצֵ֣ה הָהָ֗ר אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־פְּנֵי֙ גֵּ֣י בֶן־הִנֹּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֛ר בְּעֵ֥מֶק רְפָאִ֖ים צָפֹ֑ונָה וְיָרַד֩ גֵּ֨י הִנֹּ֜ם אֶל־כֶּ֤תֶף הַיְבוּסִי֙ נֶ֔גְבָּה וְיָרַ֖ד עֵ֥ין רֹגֵֽל׃

and to go down [the] border: boundary to(wards) end [the] mountain: mount which upon face: surface Valley son: child (Topheth of son of) Hinnom which in/on/with Valley (of Rephaim) (Valley of) Rephaim north [to] and to go down Valley (Topheth of) Hinnom to(wards) shoulder [the] Jebusite south [to] and to go down En-rogel En-rogel

17 וְתָאַ֣ר מִצָּפֹ֗ון וְיָצָא֙ עֵ֣ין שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ וְיָצָא֙ אֶל־גְּלִילֹ֔ות אֲשֶׁר־נֹ֖כַח מַעֲלֵ֣ה אֲדֻמִּ֑ים וְיָרַ֕ד אֶ֥בֶן בֹּ֖הַן בֶּן־רְאוּבֵֽן׃

and to border from north and to come out: extends En-shemesh En-shemesh and to come out: extends to(wards) Geliloth which before ascent Adummim and to go down stone Bohan son: child Reuben

18 וְעָבַ֛ר אֶל־כֶּ֥תֶף מוּל־הֽ͏ָעֲרָבָ֖ה צָפֹ֑ונָה וְיָרַ֖ד הָעֲרָבָֽתָה׃

and to pass to(wards) shoulder opposite [the] (Beth)-arabah north [to] and to go down [the] (Beth)-arabah [to]

19 וְעָבַ֨ר הַגְּב֜וּל אֶל־כֶּ֣תֶף בֵּית־חָגְלָה֮ צָפֹונָה֒ וְהָיָה (וְהָי֣וּ ׀) תֹּצְאֹותָיו (תֹּצְאֹ֣ות) הַגְּב֗וּל אֶל־לְשֹׁ֤ון יָם־הַמֶּ֙לַח֙ צָפֹ֔ונָה אֶל־קְצֵ֥ה הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן נֶ֑גְבָּה זֶ֖ה גְּב֥וּל נֶֽגֶב׃

and to pass [the] border: boundary to(wards) shoulder Beth-hoglah Beth-hoglah north [to] (and to be outgoing *Q(K)*) [the] border: boundary to(wards) tongue: bar sea [the] Salt (Sea) north [to] to(wards) end [the] Jordan south [to] this border: boundary south

20 וְהַיַּרְדֵּ֥ן יִגְבֹּל־אֹתֹ֖ו לִפְאַת־קֵ֑דְמָה זֹ֡את נַחֲלַת֩ בְּנֵ֨י בִנְיָמִ֧ן לִגְבֽוּלֹתֶ֛יהָ סָבִ֖יב לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃

and [the] Jordan to border [obj] him to/for side east [to] this inheritance son: descendant/people Benjamin to/for border her around to/for family their

21 וְהָי֣וּ הֽ͏ֶעָרִ֗ים לְמַטֵּ֛ה בְּנֵ֥י בִנְיָמִ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹֽותֵיהֶ֑ם יְרִיחֹ֥ו וּבֵית־חָגְלָ֖ה וְעֵ֥מֶק קְצִֽיץ׃

and to be [the] city to/for tribe son: descendant/people Benjamin to/for family their Jericho and Beth-hoglah Beth-hoglah and Emek (Emek)-keziz

22 וּבֵ֧ית הֽ͏ָעֲרָבָ֛ה וּצְמָרַ֖יִם וּבֵֽית־אֵֽל׃

and Beth-arabah [the] Beth-arabah and (Mount) Zemaraim and Bethel Bethel

23 וְהָעַוִּ֥ים וְהַפָּרָ֖ה וְעָפְרָֽה׃

and [the] Avvim and [the] Parah and Ophrah

24 וּכְפַ֧ר הָעַמֹּנִי (הָֽעַמֹּנָ֛ה) וְהָֽעָפְנִ֖י וָגָ֑בַע עָרִ֥ים שְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

and Chephar ([the] (Chephar)-ammoni *Q(K)*) and [the] Ophni and Geba city two ten and village their

25 גִּבְעֹ֥ון וְהָֽרָמָ֖ה וּבְאֵרֹֽות׃

Gibeon and [the] Ramah and Beeroth

26 וְהַמִּצְפֶּ֥ה וְהַכְּפִירָ֖ה וְהַמֹּצָֽה׃

and [the] Mizpeh and [the] Chephirah and [the] Mozah

27 וְרֶ֥קֶם וְיִרְפְּאֵ֖ל וְתַרְאֲלָֽה׃

and Rekem and Irpeel and Taralah

28 וְצֵלַ֡ע הָאֶ֜לֶף וְהַיְבוּסִ֨י הִ֤יא יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ גִּבְעַ֣ת קִרְיַ֔ת עָרִ֥ים אַרְבַּֽע־עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה וְחַצְרֵיהֶ֑ן זֹ֛את נַֽחֲלַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־בִנְיָמִ֖ן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ פ
