אִיּוֹב 25

1 וַ֭יַּעַן בִּלְדַּ֥ד הַשֻּׁחִ֗י וַיֹּאמַֽר׃

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and sayd,

2 הַמְשֵׁ֣ל וָפַ֣חַד עִמֹּ֑ו עֹשֶׂ֥ה שָׁ֝לֹ֗ום בִּמְרֹומָֽיו׃

Power and feare is with him, that maketh peace in his hie places.

3 הֲיֵ֣שׁ מִ֭סְפָּר לִגְדוּדָ֑יו וְעַל־מִ֝֗י לֹא־יָק֥וּם אֹורֵֽהוּ׃

Is there any nomber in his armies? and vpon whom shall not his light arise?

4 וּמַה־יִּצְדַּ֣ק אֱנֹ֣ושׁ עִם־אֵ֑ל וּמַה־יִּ֝זְכֶּ֗ה יְל֣וּד אִשָּֽׁה׃

And howe may a man be iustified with God? or how can he be cleane, that is borne of woman?

5 הֵ֣ן עַד־יָ֭רֵחַ וְלֹ֣א יַאֲהִ֑יל וְ֝כֹוכָבִ֗ים לֹא־זַכּ֥וּ בְעֵינָֽיו׃

Behold, he wil giue no light to the moone, and the starres are vncleane in his sight.

6 אַ֭ף כִּֽי־אֱנֹ֣ושׁ רִמָּ֑ה וּבֶן־אָ֝דָ֗ם תֹּולֵעָֽה׃ פ

How much more man, a worme, euen the sonne of man, which is but a worme?
