תהילים 97

1 יְהֹוָה מָלָךְ תָּגֵל הָאָרֶץ יִשְׂמְחוּ אִיִּים רַבִּֽים׃

Yahweh he reigns let it be glad the earth let them rejoice islands many.

2 עָנָן וַעֲרָפֶל סְבִיבָיו צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכוֹן כִּסְאֽוֹ׃

Cloud and thick darkness [are] around him [is] righteousness and justice [the] foundation of throne his.

3 אֵשׁ לְפָנָיו תֵּלֵךְ וּתְלַהֵט סָבִיב צָרָֽיו׃

Fire before him it goes and it may burn up all around opponents his.

4 הֵאִירוּ בְרָקָיו תֵּבֵל רָאֲתָה וַתָּחֵל הָאָֽרֶץ׃

They light up lightning flashes his [the] world it sees and it trembled the earth.

5 הָרִים כַּדּוֹנַג נָמַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵי יְהֹוָה מִלִּפְנֵי אֲדוֹן כׇּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

Mountains like wax they melt from to before Yahweh from to before [the] lord of all the earth.

6 הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ וְרָאוּ כׇל־הָעַמִּים כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃

They declare the heavens righteousness his and they see all the peoples glory his.

7 יֵבֹשׁוּ ׀ כׇּל־עֹבְדֵי פֶסֶל הַמִּֽתְהַלְלִים בָּאֱלִילִים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לוֹ כׇּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃

Let them be ashamed - all [those who] serve an image those [who] boast in worthless idols bow down to him O all gods.

8 שָׁמְעָה וַתִּשְׂמַח ׀ צִיּוֹן וַתָּגֵלְנָה בְּנוֹת יְהוּדָה לְמַעַן מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ יְהֹוָֽה׃

It hears and it rejoiced - Zion and they were glad [the] daughters of Judah on account of judgments your O Yahweh.

9 כִּֽי־אַתָּה יְהֹוָה עֶלְיוֹן עַל־כׇּל־הָאָרֶץ מְאֹד נַעֲלֵיתָ עַל־כׇּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃

For you O Yahweh [are] most high over all the earth exceedingly you are exalted above all gods.

10 אֹֽהֲבֵי יְהֹוָה שִׂנְאוּ ־ רָע שֹׁמֵר נַפְשׁוֹת חֲסִידָיו מִיַּד רְשָׁעִים יַצִּילֵֽם׃

O [you who] love Yahweh hate evil [he is] protecting [the] lives of faithful [people] his from [the] hand of wicked [people] he delivers them.

11 אוֹר זָרֻעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּֽלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵב שִׂמְחָֽה׃

Light [is] sown for the righteous and for [people] upright of heart joy.

12 שִׂמְחוּ צַדִּיקִים בַּיהֹוָה וְהוֹדוּ לְזֵכֶר קׇדְשֽׁוֹ׃

Rejoice O righteous [people] in Yahweh and give thanks to [the] remembrance of holiness his.
